Skyler giggled settling herself on Bolt's back, "Careful there, Bolt. I'm not as durable as Skell." She said making room for Skell on the saddle. Stormburner walked over next to Bloodbolt ready to fly.

Bloodbolt simply got ready to take off, impatiently waiting for his rider to get in the saddle. Skell grinned, slipping into the saddle as well. "You might want to hold on tight - even Bolt's minimum speed is pretty fast. That being said, how fast do you want to go?" he asked with a small grin, looking over at his fiancée.

"As long as, Stormburner can follow as fast as you want." Skyler said getting comfortable laying her back on to Skell's chest. She took a hold of the saddle.

Skell grinned wider. "Well, you heard her, buddy!"Bloodbolt nodded before spreading his wings and blasting off with impressive speed, making sure to go just slow enough that Stormburner could keep up as the riders enjoyed the feel of the wind in their face.

Stormburner easily was able to follow the other dragon. Skyler smiled as the wind pressed against her. "This is nice." she said to Skell.

Skell grinned and nodded. "I know, right?" he agreed, obviously enjoying the ride on the speedy Skrill as well, even if it wasn't quite as fast as he himself particularly enjoyed.

"Ok ok, Bolt is fun to ride but I got to get home so," Skyler said taking the reins. She took the lead to let Bloodbolt know where to land on her island so as to not attract the attention of her clan. "I think either night or tomorrow night our fathers will be announcing our betrothal." She said to Skell.

Bloodbolt reluctantly complied with Skyler's directions, though the belligerent dragon clearly wanted to land where he chose. Skell nodded. "Yeah, I think dad said something about that." he agreed. "Something about a big feast tonight to celebrate my betrothal and reveal who the bride-to-be is...?" Certainly sounded like his dad, anyway - he was big on parties and feasts.

Skyler smiled to Bolt. "Ok land right over to that lake." She said to the dragon, "Next time you can land any where you want, boy but for now here." She said apologizing to the dragon. She then looked at Skell, "Yeah and I have to wear a damn dress." She whined. Stormburner laughed at his rider as he landed in to the lake.

"True - makes me glad I'm not a girl," Skell agreed cheerfully and shamelessly, much to Bloodbolt's amusement. The albino Skrill reluctantly landed where directed, no matter how tempted he was to just land in the middle of the village - that would've gotten him a good fight, right?

Skyler got off Bloodbolt. She kissed him on his forehead gratefully, "thank you so much for not landing in town. i know you would love the fight but how about you do that on your own island?" She asked the dragon. She looked at Skell rolling her eyes. "Well i got to get back to my house. See you tonight." Skyler said getting on Stormburner and flying off to town.

"See ya!" Skell agreed, waving before shooting off on Bloodbolt; you could actually hear the two speed junkies breaking the sound barrier, quickly followed by Skell woo-hoo'ing shamelessly.

Skyler was in her room getting in to her dress. She looked in her mirror looking at her dress. She sighed figuring it was fine. The young viking checked her hidden knives and strapped her sword to her waist. She had clipped on viking horns because when it's party time or festivals viking women aren't allow to wear their helmets and are only allow to wear these clips still showing their viking pride. Skyler took a deep breath before walking down the stairs. Her father smiled at his daughter thinking how beautiful she turned out to be after all these years. Skyler smiled slightly to her father before he lead her out of their house to the village circle where the celebration would take place. Stormburner smiled from his view of his rider from the sky. He landed next to the two to walk with them.

Skell, on the other hand, only had to wear his helmet and chainmail armor to his own tribe's feast. Admittedly, he found it restricting - leather armor allowed for swifter movement - but he could live with it. He headed off to the feast, which, like Skyler's tribe's feast, was in the village circle.

Skyler curtsied to her village as her father and her walked on to the stage. Her father silenced the crowd and started to explain the treaty that was going happen between them and their enemies. "My daughter will be married to their heir and between the two there will be peace between our villages. Of course my daughter and my future son-in-law will have to produce two sons for heirs to be chieftains for both clans. Our two clans will help each other from now on *starts to explain the treaty in detail*" Skyler stopped listening when she heard that she had to have two sons quickly. She blushed thinking of how that would happen and hoping it didn't have to happen too quickly.
