Waiting for Alec to get sat down, she threw another ball. The ball glanced off the mechanism, and the girl scowled.

This was just what Danny needed at the moment. A chance to vent all of her feelings at a pair of weirdos balancing precariously over a bowl of water.
She winded up and smacked the button right in the sweet spot, causing one of the twosome to plunge straight into the icy depths of a tank of water. "Score!"

Her second throw wasn't as successful. Maybe it was because she felt bad about the first one getting dunked so aggressively.
Maybe it was just because she didn't throw the ball right.
It was a mystery.
