Shira watched with a frown as Mirai and Atticus began fighting. Mirai began evading his punches, moving swiftly to avoid them by mere centimeters. Her eyes began to glower brighter "Shut it!" she snapped, an aura radiated around her one arm as she saw an opening and launched her fist towards his gut. Followed by that, she unleashed a huge shockwave to get Atticus away from her. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Mirai seemed to have been affected by Atticus' words, as proof of this she would snap and unleash a punch towards him, covered in an intense aura. Smiling, Atticus held out is left arm and easily stopped her punch by grabbing her fist, "Come at me with all you've got or you will be defeated here and Texas will be lost to you forever." he stated as she then unleashed her shock-wave, which caught Atticus and caused him to get knocked back by it, landing safely on his feet. Rotating his shoulder blades and stretching his arms again, Atticus appeared to have been unhurt. With the smile still on his face, Atticus ran back towards Mirai and in a rather surprising manner, released a condensed beam of energy from his prosthetic arm, aiming right at Mirai's shoulder. As a back up measure, encase she managed to either block or evade the beam, after releasing it, Atticus continued sprinting towards her, already charging another beam.

Mirai saw the beam come at her and, right when it was about to hit, she disappeared and ended up above Atticus. A sword made of energy appeared and she swung downward, unleashing a wave of energy coming right towards Atticus from above. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
As he was expecting Mirai to block or perform a simple dodge, Atticus had forgotten about Mirai's ability to teleport. This came back to haunt him as she vanished out of sight, only to appear in the air above him and released an energy wave from her sword. Still charging his beam, Atticus would be forced to stop mid charge and focus on the wave. As soon as he lowered his hand, Mirai's wave would appear and seemingly make contact with Atticus, but there was no sign of blood or anything. Suddenly, the wave she had unleashed, would turn black and then swirl around, creating a mini vortex and within the center, would be Atticus, his right hand, transformed into a blade. "That's more like it." he muttered as he then unleashed an even more powerful wave of his own at Mirai, but that was only the tip of Atticus' power. After unleashing the wave, Atticus could be seen running up into the air, releasing two more energy waves in the process.

Mirai grimaced and ended up taking all three hits. She skidded on the ground, any injuries she had began regenerating. Her wavelength spiked then and the ground trembled, a wave of earth came rolling towards Atticus, aiming to slam into him and cause major damage. This revealed that the realm was also one giant weapon Mirai could use. The flowers around the grop began glowing brightly in response to Mirai's wavelength spiking. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Watching Mirai take his three waves, Atticus didn't have an ounce of concern on his face. Seeing their sister injured and so upset, would cause any brother to rush to their aid, wanting to protect them, but Atticus, he showed no signs of wanting to stop or worry, there was not a single look of compassion. He truly intended to fight her with all he had, but as the battle started, he had not been taking her seriously, even now, he is holding back his true power. As Mirai landed on the ground and caused the earth to come rolling towards him, Atticus did nothing and let it slam into him, not only causing him to be knocked down on the ground, but also damaging some of his ribs in the process, as well as causing some internal damage to his organs. Standing up, Atticus eyed her, even after taking that much damage, he showed no pain. "Is this the extent of your hate? Is this as far as your emotions can go? Do you not despise me? Do not despise the man that wants to take away the only special person in your life?" he asked as his wounds started to heal as well, which was new for him, perhaps this is the result of him becoming more and more of a demon, which meant he had accelerated healing. Now we can see why he has not been evading may of her attacks, he had gained an ability similar to Mirai's which allowed him to heal himself. Looking around, Atticus took notice of the flowers and smiled, he knew that Mirai had the advantage, this was her world, she controlled it. If she wished she could have each and every flower turn into swords and impale him at any moment, but he didn't seem afraid. As soon as his ribs had finished healing, Atticus ran forwards and unleashed a single energy wave, but this time, he himself would somehow ride the wave and use it to increase a second wave he would launch. So, not only would she have to deal with the first one, but also the stronger second one, as well as Atticus who could appear and strike from within either one of the waves.

Mirai's bangs covered her eyes as she heard Atticus "You would think I would hate you more than anything... but I really can't do that..." she said. She unleashed a shockwave that cancelled Atticus' double attack. "You are never there for me... the only times we talk seem to be when you want to criticize me and it always ends in us not seeming to like each other even more... You would think I would hate you since you are one of the reasons behind me sometimes thinking that I shouldn't be in this world anymore..." she admitted "But I can't and I don't know why..." she said before hundreds of orbs of light appeared an turned into needles. They all launched at Atticus for different directions then. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
After having his attacks canceled, Atticus managed to escape the range of the shock-wave, by jumping back and landing safely on the ground. As he did, he would listen to Mirai as she spoke to him. Standing there, he would seem to be taken in by her words, he did not know that she felt like she didn't belong in this world, nor that he was the reason why she felt that way. Looking at her, Atticus seemed to have been taken in by her words, he soon let his guard down and as a result, he did not manage to see the needles that she unleashed, until they had nearly struck, but in a blink of an eye, Atticus would vanish. "If you truly felt that way all this time, why didn't speak with Charlotte about it? Or even Shira, hell you could have come to me, even if I pushed you away, I would have listened to you." Atticus admitted before appearing behind Mirai, his sword aiming at her neck, "If I cause you so much pain, then the way to free yourself from me, would be to kill me." he added, showing that he was still going to go through with this battle. "Kill me and free yourself of this poor excuse of a brother."

Mirai used a shockwave to jump up in the air and avoid close contact with Atticus. Light appeared around her back and wings formed temporarily. At the same time, she launched multiple orbs at him that would explode after making contact with something. "I... didn't want them or you to worry... so I kept quiet." she said. "I thought something was wrong with me to think like that..." Mirai landed then, the wings dispersing "And I don't want to kill you. I didn't want father or mother to die, I didn't want Texas to die, I don't want you to die..." she said. She had really wanted to make this timeline different from the one she saw. But now it was seeming like things were growing worse with Atticus possibly dying in the future and Texas being taken away from her. "And now you may die... and you hate me because I like Texas... I can't win here..." she said as she looked at the ground. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Having dodged his sword strike, by forming wings and flying up into the air, Mirai would would go on to launch more orbs at Atticus. As he remained on the ground, Atticus released a stream of black energy from his sword, causing it to gather around him in a sphere of swirling energy. This would act like an shield and protect him from Mirai's orbs, as each one hit the sphere. With each hit an explosion would occur, but no matter what, they could not manage to break his sphere. After the explosions ended, Atticus emerged from the sphere, seemingly unharmed, just as Mirai would land on the ground. She appeared to have given up on fighting, "It seems like I was mistaken." Atticus said as he walked towards her, "You are too kind, too gentle, for your own good." Atticus told her as he erupted into a sprint and had his sword aimed at Mirai's shoulder, "But you are also, mistaken, I do not hate you. No matter what you do, how much I am troubled by you, or what I say and do, I will never hate my own sister." Atticus admitted.

"How come we never talked while training or anything like that then? You definitely seemed to prefer being around Vin than me." Mirai asked. She disappeared and appeared behind him, creating a telekinetic blast and launching it at him from close range. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
As Mirai appeared behind him and launched another telekinetic blast, Atticus quickly turned around and countered it with a black energy wave, causing both to cancel out. "I don't prefer Vin over you or you over Vin. I just figured that you wouldn't want to have anything to do with me, so I kept to myself. I didn't know what to do or say." Atticus stated as he ran forwards, "I will admit, that I trained with him more, but that is only because he needed me more than you. You were already capable, you had power, you had a goal, while he was still unsure about everything. He needed me more than you." Charging up energy around his sword, Atticus released a small beam of black energy at Mirai. "Besides, you made it clear to me, that the only person you truly needed was Texas."

Mirai quickly dodged Atticus' attack. "No. I would like more people to rely on. But like I said, with how you were with Vin and the fact that I barely saw you a lot... I thought you didn't like me. And I was always afraid to talk to you since we always seemed to have bad conversations." she explained. This wasn't getting anywhere with the fight. Her wavelength went up some more, thousands of orbs appeared around them before all launching at Atticus at once, aiming to explode all around him and constantly pummel him so he wouldn't be able to keep up any defenses for long. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Feeling Mirai's wavelength increase, Atticus stood there and watched as she created thousands of the same orbs from before. This time, however, he could not erect a powerful defensive barrier like last time, as there were too many to handle. Sighing, Atticus decided that this would be the only way for the two of them to solve their problems once and for all. As the orbs all came at him and began to erupt all around him, Atticus tried his best to stay out of the way of the explosions, but even he could not. He would dodge one, but end up getting hit and knocked back by two, until he could no longer dodge them. As a result his body was flung around with each explosion, dealing more and more damage until they all ceased. Laying on the ground, Atticus right arm had transformed back to normal and appeared to have been broken and bleeding, while the rest of his body had been burned and heavily damaged from the flames coming from the explosions. Atticus was in a lot of pain, so much, that even breathing became hard, but he still did not stay down for long. Standing up, Atticus held his broken right arm and looked over at Mirai. This was odd, had he truly been intending to face her with all he had, why would he willingly let himself be injured to such an extent? Why was he still not using all his strength. Whether willingly or subconsciously, Atticus had been holding back. While his minor wounds were healing the more serious ones, would not, so his arm would remain broken for the duration of the fight. "Mirai, it is time for you to truly set yourself free." he muttered, before increasing his soul wavelength, but even then, it was far weaker than Mirai's, clearly, something was wrong with Atticus, he was not this weak. As he darted towards Mirai, Atticus was aware of the mark on his chest, as it glowed and seemingly sapped his strength. Shira would also sense this, somehow the longer he remains in Netherworld, the weaker he becomes and the more power the mark drains. From the very beginning, Atticus stood no chance against Mirai, not while they were here and he seemed to have known that.

Mirai said nothing and watched Atticus quietly. She observed how strong he was at the moment before grimacing. Her wavelength went up some more and she launched another shockwave at him. "You need to leave soon... I don't want you to die here." she said. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
