"Better to have the label of Yank than one of the other cities." Gale got a kick to his chair. " I'm not the one with the sniper rifle am I?" Lex got a low hum, the moon sitting as the new life assist talked. "Artifact or Ancient. Few things alone have enough juice to reach the island without setting off alarms, let alone mess with minds yet avoid certain tech. Ami stay here it's not like anyone will bite you, besides H isn't here yet. As far as I could tell the van's equipment was unharmed, as were the runic equipment down in the storage units. Us moons never got any notice and no requests sent for backup aid to infirmary." Marcus shrugged. "All in all, my guess is whatever it was, it targeted certain people for certain factors. No alarm bells went up and we're not on the defensive. If we were, we'd already be mobilizing to head out. This'll probably be a brief on what got in and what defenses we lacked."

Melvin looked at the space next to him on the bench, stood up, took off his jacket, and laid it down. Then, without giving any ********. he sat back down and leaned to lay down on the bench.
Maybe he could go back to bed.

She remained reserved as far as contact, not responding as Gale leaned his head against hers, a look somewhere between dazed and thoughtful coming over her as they all talked. She didn't blame Ami for trying to get away, it was an awful lot of noise for this early in the morning--and none that was really happy, the more she listened. Stormy didn't like the idea that she had been left out in this shared dream, let alone Wonderland.
(Then again, her life was a little topsy turvy enough, she supposed.)
"Ancient?" she echoed Lex confusedly, frowning further in thought. Multiplay game, Wonderland, artifacts, legacies, ancients . . . Now she was getting a little upset she couldn't have participated; lacking something, as the new Life assistant put it. Stormy figured they were lucky: at least they actually knew they were themselves during the dream.
As Marcus added to the discussion, she chose to hang back and listen instead, quietly nibbling her piece of granola bar like a squirrel. Well, after one more question. "You have a van?" Noting Gale's nudge, she added a smile towards Otto in case the guy looked their way.

For all his nervous attentiveness, it seemed Oliver was too tired and wrung out to notice Ian's approach until he was right there, dropping onto the bleachers next to him. With a nervous squeak the boy jumped, not straight up in the air so much as a full three spaces from his prior location. His purely terrified stare was a clear answer, he wasn't 'hanging in' at all. He was falling and two seconds away from hitting the ground.

Louder than most ought to be with this many sleepy people around, Jack called to Oliver and Ian. "Yo! Keeley, Ian, the real party's over here, jackasses!"
(He reasoned that the more people around him, the more data he could collect. Not at all because he knew them to varying degrees of friendship (or lackey-ship in the case of Oliver).)
There was another Lifer who was laying out on the benches, which gave Jack a brief but powerful urge to toss coffee on him just to see what would happen. But he supposed making early enemies in his own division was a no-no, even for the evulz.
"Up and at 'em," he said, sipping some more as he stretched out one of his impossibly long legs to give the guy a nudge.

Rep gave Melvin and his makeshift bed a vague look of longing, maybe he could get away with ripping the idea off.
"I wouldn't half ******** mind a shower. Maybe we'll just have to fill some s**t in and then we can go sleep again and I can pretend this morning never happened."
When someone decided to nudge Melvin, his attention perked up a little more, curious to see if the blonde man would flip his lid.

Rin was not far behind Melvin, unlike him she got a nice long rest as she went to bed on time unlike a certain stubborn a** who didn't come to bed until long after she was deep asleep. She couldn't really remember a dream at all but she was sure she had one. She slumped down next to the frazzled blonde and smirked at his evident distress and attempt at sleep, "that's what you get."
Al on the other hand was a lot more discreet, darting about trying to keep hidden from certain people until he was ready to face them. He slept horrendously and was pretty sure he had another dream about playing World of Warcraft. Guilt and confusion made him nauseated and restless but he would face it okay, just not today. He hid behind the tallest hunter he could find and hunkered down.

Ol-j-man Nooo, Jack. Noooo. Don't poke the bear.
The bench wasn't all that bad, and Melvin even managed to get a little part of his jacket to lay over him, using a sleeve to cover his face to provide some darkness from the otherwise terrible lighting of the gym.
And then some a*****e nudged him, and his voice was the perky voice of someone who was a morning person.
Gritting his teeth, Melvin jerked his body to sit up, summoned Saliva in one hand, and pointed the gun barrel at Jack's face. "Don't......" He managed before he yawned. "...do that......" He said slowly, his eyes already starting to droop as his gun barrel started to slowly lower down as if it was too heavy to hold up. ".......or I'll shoot your face off."

"Not reliant. Just helpful to have coffee as booster, yes," Deryk replied to Ariane a little indignantly. He soon glanced to Jude and smiled a little sheepishly. "Just.. kinda getting by.Most I can do, really."He paused and looked over at Pietro as he spoke up once again. With a furrowed brow, he soon lowered his head again. Wait. Did he fail again? Somehow? That wasn't a very good feeling. And such, he took a sad sip of his coffee.

Melvin was already falling asleep sitting up, Saliva still in hand and now pointed more at Jack's crotch than his head from how much it had dropped down.

"I suppose you think that makes you a princess." Finn drawled back to Chel, before lifting a foot and giving her a none too gentle nudge in the back with his heel, only half-attempting to shove her out of her seat while he let his eye wander the room, sweeping across the various faces, looking for a few in particular, before his gaze went back to the sassy, innuendo-full girl sitting in front of Jack. A large smirk curled up his lips as she gave her a once over, not bothering to even hide the fact that he was likely imagining what she might look like with all of her clothes off. "Sweetheart, I don't need to---" He cut himself off when Fini joined them, biting his tongue and turning towards her slightly, silent for a moment as she made her dig at Jack....which actually felt like more of a dig at Finn. He turned his attention back to Chel, not even giving Fini a proper greeting after that little opener. "I don't need to dream about you when I've already got such a very, very vivid imagination." He uncrossed his arms and leaned closer towards her with a cold smile. "The fantasies are satisfying enough." Jack was fishing for more information, and Finn simply shrugged his shoulders as he settled back again, listening to the speaker for a moment before saying. "See Jack, if you weren't so lacking, you'd already know what the ******** was going on." It wasn't until Jack shouted to Oliver and Ian that he noticed the other two men had arrived, having become a little too wrapped up in the goings on of the people around him. Pulling out his phone, he shot one of the men a text. Grey Dragonx Text to Oliver: Good morning, Princess! More smirking, and he raised his hand in greeting to both of the men should they look his way, before shooting off another quick text. Enoh Lovex Text to Ripley: Are you at the meeting yet? Saw your girl getting pretty cozy with some new guy. Get dumped already? That was absolutely the best way to say "good morning sorry I killed you in that dream world" to the man that he was quickly becoming very good friends with.

Rin watched as Melvin exploded and then immediately passed out afterwards. "I'll just... uh." She reached for part of his coat and attempted to cover Saliva up. "Pretend we didn't see that, yeah?" She looked up at Jack.

He found himself staring down the barrel of a gun for a moment, not for the first time in his life, and continued to drink his coffee. It was an honestly fascinating sight given how organic the weapon seemed, and Jack had to wonder what sort of ammunition it used.
Maybe he'd be lucky enough to find out.
"Poor form to be falling asleep at a meeting," he said pleasantly as the gun was lowered. "Especially since the Doctor will be speaking. I was only doing you a favor." He didn't seem perturbed about poking the sleeping bear, continuing to smile as the weapon was covered up.
A few people were starting to watch, even. Jack raised his mug as if to toast them. "Anyone want to get me a refill?"
