She picked herself up, only to find her prey was not in the same spot. The woman stood still, trying to spot where the elemental had gone.

The door was open, and as they neared it was apparent there was some kind of commotion going on inside. "This was a bad idea." He said as they arrived at the slumber party to see the grombie inside.

Basement Grombie
The grombie sensed the new arrivals and charged at the royal, eager for her next meal
"Aiyeee! Prince look out!" she screamed as she tried to push him out of the way, but he was already getting pulled away by the Lady. This left her right in the range of the rabid Grombie. "Uh..uh...p-please don't eat me?" The little witchling stared in horror at the grey fleshed infected as it continued its charge.

Evangeline was white as a sheet and had used the opportunity of the distraction to rush over to Voltari, there was probably strength in numbers. "Um, are you, are y-you alright? Wh-what is th-that thing?" She asked, her voice a little squeaky from fear.
But then the others left without seeing them it appeared and they were alone with it once more.

Lady Evangeline Anon Evangeline was white as a sheet and had used the opportunity of the distraction to rush over to Voltari, there was probably strength in numbers. "Um, are you, are y-you alright? Wh-what is th-that thing?" She asked, her voice a little squeaky from fear.
But then the others left without seeing them it appeared and they were alone with it once more. "Y-yeah, I think so...thanks." Volt said shakily. "I'm not sure, it looks like some kind of zombie...but...there was a weird rabbit on its head..." Being from the Cloud Kingdom, she'd never heard of a grombie before. Heck, she barely knew of zombies. Only one thing at this point was clear. "Whatever's going on, we should keep an eye on it!"

Evangeline was empty of knowledge about this sort of thing either. "Y-yes that sounds... wise." She said, hoping it remained uninterested in them. She took a few step backwards to put more distance between herself and the thing and put her book down on the table. She had brought it for the party but there would be no sense in it now, Evangeline doubted she would get much reading done. Her eyes travelled back to the slow moving half human creature. "W-we should stay tog-together... strength in n-numbers?"

"H-h-h-heeeeelp!" she shrieked as she ran to the other side of the room, unfortunately away from the door, in order to avoid the Grombie's charge.

Unfortunately for the witchling, Prince was long gone. Fortunately, however, grombies are not known for being coordinated, and this one stumbled in the middle of her tackle, falling to the floor once again.

She had brought it for the party but there would be no sense in it now, Evangeline doubted she would get much reading done. Her eyes travelled back to the slow moving half human creature. "W-we should stay tog-together... strength in n-numbers?" Volt nodded. "Agreed!" She kept her eyes on the creature. "Worst comes to worst I can always zap it, but I can only do that so many times in a row. Perhaps that book of yours can come in handy...I'm thinking...like a projectile." On some level, being somewhat of a dictator enthusiast, it was like Volt was already prepared for this sort of thing...if it weren't for the fact that zombies totally creeped her out.

Unfortunately for the witchling, Prince was long gone. Fortunately, however, grombies are not known for being coordinated, and this one stumbled in the middle of her tackle, falling to the floor once again.
"Ah...ah...okay...not so bad...if I can just, eep!" she was mumbling her plan of escape to herself when the Grombie got up again. "I-if I can just lure it away from the d-door...I can get out of here." She positioned herself about mid-distance from the far wall, and the stumbling flesh-eater, preparing to run for it.

Evangeline picked up her book again almost protectively, "I... I g-guess..." She said, not wanting any harm to come to it - although if it was it or her life she would use the book. She watched the other girl looking like she was preparing to do a sprint and wondered if they should be doing the same while the thing was distracted. "U-um m-maybe we c-could try and leave while they're busy?" She asked, but right at the end of her sentence the pink grunny from before jumped up at the pair with fangs bared.
Evangeline jumped and thwacked it with the book, sending it flying with strength she wasn't sure she had. "Eek!"

'NOW!' she yelled internally, as the pink grunny crumpled in a heap from the force of the book smack. She cringed slightly at the sight of so seemingly cute a creature hurt like that, but she put it aside as she darted for the door as fast as her feet and skirt would allow. She slammed headlong into the door, narrowly escaping the Grombie, flung the door open and bolted, terrified and confused into the hallway.

"Nice!" she exclaimed proudly, rather impressed by the distance the girl generated. As for her question... "We probably should...but where do we go? And what about the others?" Her lip pouted involuntarily, wondering where Charming was and how he was faring with all the chaos.
