They hit the next room, where a casket lay. This...was the boss? A casket? This world was so convolu- ********. He hadn't noticed the smoke, or the way it was falling over him and becoming ash. It was all becoming ash... everything, ash. No flames, no explosions, just ash. They were all becoming old, irrelevant, left in the past. He, too, became a crumbling pile of ash...
Snapping out of it and seeing the actual boss, SANDSHARK grit his teeth and dug in his heels. This beastie was not a pretty one at all.

Something was just not right when the second she laid her eyes on the casket. Suddenly, she would find a huge blade embedded in her and she could see herself dissipating...
Reality snapped back to focus, and the ghoul learnt to avoid gazing at the monster again. Their rest was over, and it was time for another battle. Robert felt prepared, but a little winded from the failure he'd just committed at the very beginning of the fight. He felt like he'd let down his team, even though no one had said as much. He defended himself as best as he could, and hoped for the best. Shadowstep tilted his head at the next thing they came upon. It was... a coffin? Stepping closer, he could see smoke pouring out of it and soon enough, he recoiled sharply. For a split second, he saw himself in a great glass tank, just big enough for someone to be placed inside. He banged on the glass, trying to break out, but it was futile. Humans in white coats stood from a distance on the other side, fiddling with controls. The inside of the tube began to glow and he could feel... something.It was then that he snapped out of the waking nightmare. Shaking his head, he stared at the object incredulously.
