"Y-yeah, thanks. I guess I just didn't expect the hunt to take so long AND all of the other stuff that keeps happening," she yawned, taking her coat and throwing it over her shoulders to shrug it back on. It needed a good washing. SHE needed a good washing. Getting wet didn't make up for all the grime she had gotten herself into as of late. Somehow that coat stayed on despite normal desert temperatures. "I'm okay, though. But how're you still holding up after all that whacking and other junk that's been back-to-back I mean I know you're a boulder n' all but do your fists or back or anything ever get SORE after a bit?" The more she rambled, the more energy came back to her. Good old motor mouth Luxara.
Glancing over at Didero, she also wondered if Did was still writing or if his notepad was even in one piece after everything the team had gone through..

[ Didero politely looked away as Ganyma redressed, though he did appear to green up a little around the ears. He was worried. He wasn't used to being away from home so long, much less out in the wilderness away from a hot shower. Didero was only just now realizing he couldn't be looking as pretty as he usually did. It was embarrassing.
The amount of physical activity involved just added a whole other level to the grit and grime accumulating in his trousers. Almost on queue, the lusus rounded back on the little party. Ganyma made to hop back down off of the rock face as he spotted the lusus reappearing below. He hopped back off, intending to kick the creature straight between the shoulder blades and drive it into the ground once more.

It wasn't long before the lusus charged off again -- Ganyma gave it a particularly strong boot to the rump, a few slashes to the haunches, and something to write home about. After recovering, Ganyma popped back up.
"Movin' on!"
He rewrapped his hoodie and replaced one of the blades on his glove as he walked, tossing the other into a pocket of his bag. "It's alright, Luxara. I'm gettin' pretty tired, but all of the exercise is good for me, ya know? If this goes on for another couple'a days without rest or food, then we got a problem. You kids feeling alright, though?"

There were so many repetitive motions, but somehow the thing still managed to be a little too fast for her sometimes. But it was likely to come back any moment, either too confused, stupid, or afraid of something ELSE to care that it kept getting walloped by Ganyma.
Luxara was too sure of another chance to help to let yet another miss drag her down. "-I'M- doing okay, I mean I'm still a little damp because my pillow was the wet-tastic Stagdad, but it's the desert. I'll dry out," Luxara shrugged. "I'm just hoping I get to jump this thing at least once before it finally keels over." She stretched and looked at Didero.
"Hey, Did, whatever happened to recording the epic adventure of beating up the big, dumb lusus? Too much action going on?"

"Yep. Can't wait to get out of this desert," announced Ganyma. He turned to the kids.
"Though I gotta say. It's been real swell havin' you kids along. Kinda weird that you're on such a dangerous chase with all this weather an' all, though. But you've been good li'l teammates." He smiled pleasantly. The lusus made its appearance again no soon after.
"The sooner we take this guy out the sooner we can go home!"

The lizard nipped at Ganyma with its flappy mouth. The troll hopped out of the way to subdue it, though his arm got caught momentarily. Not a particularly welcome surprise. He bashed at its face (through what he could tell was its face) between the jutting parts of the WACKY.

Luxara grinned. The most dangerous game was great, though! Even though it was...very...very...tiring.
Of course the lizard would come back RIGHT THEN. Luxara was ready, grabbing her net and throwing it at the lusus while it was busy with Ganyma. Fortunately no one had accidentally netted the teenager instead of the other big galoot so far.

Ganyma jabbed one last time at the lusus, hoping to take it the hell down. He was exhausted and wanted to collapse-- but the kids were watching. With a burst of strength, he hurled his arm around the neck of the beast and squeezed.
And squeezed.
Ganyma felt the huge writhing force come to a shuddering halt. He held on for a moment longer, as much making sure it was really down as hanging in disbelief.
"I did it... I really... Did it..."
