The Lindy Hop?
Blech.
Voluptas wasn't a terribly big fan of the dance. There were other dances she found far more interesting, the earlier showing of the Cha-Cha and even The Worm included. At least the Worm was funny. The Lindy Hop? Voluptas could do without. It wasn't very appealing to a Goddess of Seduction, and that showed by the way she held her head in her hands and groaned at the announcement.
Still, it was her job to judge, and judge she would continue to do.
The first two up were Himeros and Zest. Perhaps she was just biased because she was not fond of the dance, but Voluptas rolled her eyes. The mortal, especially, was just doing this dance badly. Himeros seemed to have a better handle on where to keep his eyes this time, but no amount of focus from him seemed to fix the glaring problem in the dance: the mortal. She gave nothing better than a 3.
Pothos was proving himself to not be such an awful stick in the mud at the moment. Perhaps he took over for Himeros in his staring at his partner and making the best of it, but it seemed to be working out for him. He was her uncle, the God of Longing, after all. Their ridiculous flailing seemed to work for the dance, so she gave them a 7. That was how the lindy hop was most amusing, she supposed.
Hedylogos seemed to be very good at giving consistent performances that were not terribly interesting. His partner wasn't particularly helping him with that one. Voluptas yawned loudly as she watched them, attention turning to her nails for a moment before it turned back up to the two who were dancing. Boring. It wasn't bad, though, just ... boring. She guessed a mediocre 5 was suited for this performance.
Now just what was that mortal Naomi doing? Did she not know what the Lindy Hop even was?! Her performance was horrible! No good performance from Hymnaios, as good as it was, could support whatever it was Naomi was doing. Uck. For Hymnaios decent performance, she managed to give them a 4.
Now Iordanes and Minuette, they were interesting! She had to admit, she was giving them a lot of credit because they just seemed interested in being together, which, despite some faultiness in their steps, made them interesting to watch. The faultiness in their steps disabled her from giving them a perfect ten, but at the same time, she had to give them credit for preservering and keeping up with each other. That was what mattered, right? A 9 was deserved, for being them most interesting dance she saw yet.
Aglaia and Kratos continued to impress her. They seemed in-sync in a way she did not understand, and it kept them dancing well. This was not as good as their moves from the prior two rounds, but it was still enough to keep Voluptas' attention and for her to not find it as utterly boring she as tended to find a lot of the lindy hop dances. For that, she would keep up her trend of scoring them well and give them a 7.
Euphrosyne and Lucius performed similarly well, and she let them know with a small applause at the end of their dance. Euphrosyne, in particular, was absolutely brilliant at the lindy hop. She supposed it made sense--it was a very... well ... mirthful dance. She was the Goddess of Mirth. It fit. Her partner did not perform quite as well in her opinion, and so, she gave them a 7, a still decent grade, but not stellar.
Phaenna and Hiroki seemed to have some level of sync despite Phaenna's shouted doubts. In particular, Phaenna seemed to be fairly good at the dance, but a dance was only as good as both partners that were performing it. Her perfect performance versus his average performance only managed to get an average grade out of her, a 6 well earned.

A Tango? This time, she did know what she was doing. The rest of the dances she might not have been good at, but this one.. Oh Guardians she knew how to tango. Even if she didn't, she was damn good at making it look like she did. She just hoped Hymnaios was able to keep up with her steps.
All in all, Naomi was very pleased with the way her hips moved against him, all sensuality, none of the awkwardness she had displayed with the Lindy Hop or the other dances before it. Naomi could honestly say she was proud of this one dance above all the others. She only hoped the judges felt the same about it as she did.

She couldn't help but giggle at the way they were all pretty much flailing around for the Lindy Hop. She just shook her head laughing at his apology. "It's okay! It's funny!" she giggled. Finally that dance was over. "Oh my gosh, that was awful," she said, though she was still laughing a bit.
Oh, jeez. The tango was next. She flushed a bit. It was so....sensual. She was really gonna have to get up close with Pothos this time. Her cheeks got redder as she stepped closer to him and put her arm around his shoulder. "This one doesn't seem too awfully hard, right?"

Thank the skies above that round was over, good grief! And somehow.. they were still in this thing!
But... a tango... tangos were so.... close. So... intimate.
Even if Applebloom had taken the first initiative, his cheeks flushed bright red along with hers as he took one hand in his and placed the other one about her torso. "N-no... doesn't seem to.... terrible..." he stammered, moving her slowly into a small lift and then a twirl which brought her right back on him. Terrible no. Up close and personal... yes. If her hips pressed any more into him he was liable to lose it.... and that chest.... why was her leg between his?!?!?

Hiroki paused but a moment to get a drink while the judging occured, he offered to get Phaenna one while he was at it. "This is quite the workout" he commented to himself before rejoining his partner and gulping down a quick half of his glass. "The tango huh, no wait sorry Argentinian tango.. not sure about that one... lets try though!" he offered her his arm and proceeded to do his best.
