He let go of the stick, he hadn't been able to dislodge it yet anyhow. Gesturing to the front of the burrow he said, "Hey, can you knock out that snow?"

"Um, sure." Seb had been hoping for more of a greeting, but he tried not to sound disappointed as he lumbered to his feet as best he could, shuffling toward the entrance. The snow did block the entrance, but it was fairly fluffy, so when he nudged it with his nose, it moved easily, letting the sunlight--and the cold air--stream in.

Chane took a deep breath as the cool air rushed in. Oh he hadn't even realized how stale the air in their hideaway had gotten. It had gotten a bit warmer out too. Despite the storm the night before it felt as though the snow might have a chance to melt a bit today.
He pulled himself forward, trying to squeeze under the log to get out and stretch.

Seb moved out of the way to let Chane out, watching him quietly, a bit unsure of how to go forward now. Technically it was time to part ways...but he didn't really want to.

Chane didn't give him the option. Still stretching, he said, "Do you need help looking for your sister?"

A huge smile split Seb's face. "Yeah," he said. "I would like that."
Turning back toward the field the way he'd come, he thought for a moment. "Lily said we were going east. I guess we should go in that direction?"

Chane nodded, then looked up at the sky to get his bearings. He had some questions regarding his own feeling which needed to be addressed before he parted with this stallion. A search would give him time to settle whether or not he wanted to give this stranger a chance.

Seb gave Chane a warm smile and started back toward the field. He went in front of the grey stallion, breaking a path for him so he wouldn't have to struggle in the deep snow.

Chane noticed that the other stallion had gone ahead with the intent of clearing a path. It was helpful... kind. He smiled then followed along behind.
"When we find her... you both should come back with me..."

Seb was nodding his head to Chane's words when the other stallion admitted he liked him. A large grin broke out on his face, and he couldn't help but turn around to face him.
"I like you too!" he said. There was no playing it cool with Seb.

Seb's grin softened a bit, and he leaned forward, his nose gently brushing against Chane's in what could just barely be called a nuzzle.
"I would like it if you did," he said earnestly. "I want to know you better."

He didn't say anything more, instead opting to lean in and give the larger stallion a real nuzzle.
