Akemi left the building of Rajaion. There was only one place she could test her powers without getting caught by someone from the school. Even though going to that very spot is suppose to be off limits to everyone. The very area that Ignazio said to train her after school everyday. But he was the last person she would find inside the forest.
When she first entered into the forest it was quite. The only sound in the forest was of her footsteps against the grass under her shoes and the few birds chirping on the tree tops. She wanted to get deep into the forest, the deeper the better. That would be to insure that no one could see her from the outside. The thickness and the cover of trees would keep the visibility little no none at all. The perfect place to hide her demonic powers away from the demon seeking killers of the cram school.
Approaching the inner circle of the forest Akemi started to see signs of struggle. The tree's were scorched and the dirt was kicked up. Branches broken and laying on the ground. Then all of a sudden she heard someone or rather something. A voice inside her head. "This is the challenge you brought to me? I’m offended Ignazio. I’m not amused, he didn’t even see through a faint attack and tried to go after you first. He forgot he had two opponents, what an idiot." the voice was of one of Ignazio's familiars. Stopping in her tracked she listened to the area around her. If she recalled one of Ignazio's familiars was kin of Iblis, it would explain why she was hearing him. A loud crashing sound was heard to her right. Without rushing she walked over to the sound. She tried to not draw attention to herself.
She arrived over to where she sound was coming from. Peeking around a tree she saw Ignazio and another boy. He was moving around so much she couldn't tell who he was, that was only he stopped momentarily. Alaric was the one who was battling him, but why? She knew the two of them were on the best of terms, but why would they bring it all the way out to the forest. Walking around the tree she made her way out of the tree line, silently making her presence known. The closer he got to the young tamer the clearer she could hear his words. Counting, he was counting."Another fight Mr. Barthomeloi."

Turning his head slightly he noticed Akemi and then waved his left hand slight. Ignazio was still in a bad mood, but the fact he was letting off some steam by throwing Alaric around he was in a mood where he could talk to others again, for the most part. ”Akemi-chan, if I were you I wouldn’t walk in closer.” he said as he snapped his fingers with his left hand revealing the chained golden fence created. ”Unless you want to be reduce to nothing by an anti-demon barrier. I made is especially for the purpose of keeping everything inside this area. Nothing comes in or leaves, that’s demonic.” he said before turning and facing Alaric as he waiting for the boy to stand up. ”Akemi-chan, why are you here anyways? I know I said I’d help you master your demonic powers, but I currently have another person whom appeared to need my help a little more than you. Although he is doing a pretty pitiful job, I guess you could help him out, but just know it comes at a price.” he said before waving his hand to the left and then to the right. Soon the fence opened for Akemi to enter the area, but Ignazio really wanted her answer before she walked through the fence and saw a burning Alaric on the ground. The last thing Ignazio needed was for the Fire Apparition to start extinguishing flames. It was his own punishment for leaving himself open for attack. ”So Akemi, what is it going to be? Training with me or leave this area. I won’t be responsible if you get injured in the crossfire of this exercise”

Walking slowly she approached Ignazio waved his left hand in acknowledgment she was there, but he quickly stopped her from coming any closer. With a snap of his fingers a golden chain was revealed to her and Ignazio went on to explain what exactly it was. Akemi could see why he would use such a thing to protect them from other demons. But if they were having a full out battle inside there. There was a chance that Alaric himself could run into it and be killed. Akemi kept silence at the sight of the chain and stopped standing there with her feet next to each other. 'A training session.' she thought to herself as Ignazio went on to tell her that about what it was they were doing in the forest themselves. Akemi knew very well by what price he was meaning exactly. He had warned her about this very price long ago, before she even took the exwire exam. A section of the barrier was opened for her to enter if she wished. However, that meant she was accepting the terms and conditions that came along with it. Taking her first steps she started to enter into the barrier just before walking in she gave her answer."I'm well aware of the terms" Then she entered into the barrier. Looking over she saw that Ignazio had set Alaric a blaze. Once she was inside the barrier there was no turning back as it would close again behind her locking her from within. Now that she was within she had to prepare for what was to come. She had never fought Ignazio herself, but she had witnessed him a few times fighting other students. "If i heard you correctly you said there was two minutes and twenty-eight seconds remaining. Now even less. What happens with you reach zero?" She asked him seriously.

A burning sensation rushed throughout his entire body, "Crap, I can't believe I didn't think of Innocentius attacking me. I just figure he was using his heat to mess to get me disorientated!" Alaric yelled out in pain as his body was engulfed in flames. He never felt so much pain in his life, he didn't think being burned could hurt so much. His body was launched towards the barrier that Ignazio to keep Alaric. That's what he thoughts before his body hit the barrier, the barrier shocked his body and made the incredible he felt even worse. He could barely make a thought as he felt shock of pain going through his body and his skin being burned, "What...the...hell is...with this barrier. Is it...some kind of anti demon barrier...that b*****d!" His body only made contact with the barrier only a manner of a couple of seconds, but to him it felt like minutes, before the barrier bounce him off. Covered in flames Alairc fell to his knees, he was in shock from the intense pain. Even though his body was still going through he couldn't let out a scream of pain, it was like he was in a trance. He might have let consume him until he heard Ignazio lecturing him. He wasn't going to let this flame kill him off so easily. He started to manipulate the air around him, he made the air more thinner and causing the flames to lose oxygen. He could have just blew them off, but he didn't want to take the chance of them getting bigger from getting more oxygen, he didn't know how demon flames work, but he did know a lack of oxygen can cause the flame to deplete. The flames started to fade away from around his body and after a few seconds the flames were gone.
Alaric let out a breath of relief, he really thought he was going to burn to death. His school uniform was completely gone, all that was left from the fire was his purple tank shirt and black slacks, but both had burn marks on them. He was lucky that Innocentius did pull his punch a bit; however he couldn't help but feel offended that the fiend pulled his punch because it meant the beast thought he couldn't take it. A beast that destroys everything in its path without a caring about the lives it takes, held back. This feeling of being weak just pissed him off, a feeling he never felt before or at least to this point. He couldn't let that type of emotion get too him because all its going to do is cloud his judge and he really didn't need another thing causing him to lose. Alaric stood up, this task did take a lot out of him since he couldn't feel his leg too much, but he couldn't let that stop him from continuing this fight.
It would seem that he only had a couple of minutes before Ignazio sent out Garuda and like the tamer said it would make things very difficult. He could handle one of the familiar to a extent, but two would be nearly impossible of a task. His attention was taken away as he felt surge of energy going through the ground,"What is this feeling? I bet its another one of those pain in the a** Aria tricks." He ready himself to the next possible attack from Ignazio. He figure by now it would be pointless to just run at Ignazio blindly without knowing his plan, so Alaric had no choice, but to wait.
Suddenly he heard a voice, a female voice. He didn't think there was going to be anyone else in the area. Without taking much of his attention off Ignazio he looked to see who it was, it was Akemi. He asked himself why she was here at first, but then Ignazio started to speak. Alaric was a bit surprise to hear she wanted to master her demonic powers, just like Alaric. It was even more surprising that she was a half demon. This was the first he heard of it, but it didn't explain her reaction towards his action at the gym. As he thought about Akemi entered the barrier with them, so she was joining the training session after all. Now the problem hand was that, is Ignazio going to use Akemi to train him or are they going to be both trained at the same. He hoped that maybe he could a bit of help during exercise, but he would understand if Ignazio pinned Akemi against him.
"Well it means there is going to be another creature after my head," he answered Akemi question. He couldn't continue talking because that cause him to lose focus of Ignazio and he wasn't going to let that happen again.
Just as Akemi reminded him about the time he check his watch and started laughing. ”It’s time to add another familiar into the mix.” He said as he held his left hand into the air signaling Garuda as the five minute time period was up and she was allowed to enter the fray. ”Akemi, I should explain this to you. This is full contact, and I won’t be held responsible if you die or if he dies. It’s a three day training period. That barrier won’t last a long time and I’ll have to replace it eventually, it has about another good five burst to it before it’s torn down and I have to replace it. Alaric here already hit it once pretty hard, and well, that used up on of the talisman’s energy. It wasn’t really built with reinforcement energy; just enough to establish and hold its own for a certain period of time.” he said as he lowered his left hand and held his arms down to his sides. ”Now, I’ll explain the rules again, its three days of training, each training situation I create will be geared to challenge you in different areas of combat. Its basically the training I went through when I was seven, so it shouldn’t be that hard for you two. Three days, no food, no leaving the forest, and all you have to do is strike to kill your opponent, which is me of course. Next thing you should be aware of is the fact I will be aiming to kill you as well.” Ignazio said calmly as he crossed his arms and eyed his four blades still in the ground before him. The energy of the talismans wrapped around the handles had rooted well within the ground for his next strike. He could feel the energy as he stood and spoke. Ignazio stretched his right arm outwards and pulled his left hand closer to his center as he prepared himself. ”If you can land a single hit on me, and you’re excused for the rest of this exorcise. I guess now, you can call this a teamwork and target priority training. They haven’t taught you newbie this in class yet, but I’m going to show you something that they won’t teach you, something that you learn from field experience. Multiple opponents won’t take it easy on you, and that means they will also play cheap underhand tricks on you as well.” Ignazio said before falling down to a knee and slamming his left hand onto the lush grass ” Wood begets the flame of the divine elements hailing from the Earth! Water which feeds the wood and breaths life! Order!” Ignazio commanded
The two blades that were between Ignazio and Akemi glowed with a bright light before the talismans released their energy completely and six large roots released themselves from the earth in a piercing motion for Akemi’s body. But that wasn’t all the two blades that were in the lake activated as well. The ground started to shake as two large geysers came from the lake and fired towards Akemi as well. The water that fell from the geysers showered over the growing branches causing more branches to grow creating leaves as the energy seemed to connect with each other feed off the other power source. Ignazio started to stand as he pointed towards Alaric. ”Innocentius!” he yelled before turning his body to be center between the two of his opponents and he could focus on both of their movements at once. Ignazio’s face grew with a smile as he began to speak to his other familiar telepathically ”Garuda, feed the flames and destroy the princess.” he commanded as he referred to Akemi by her title in which she held rather than her name.
Innocentius began to laugh as he watched the tamer release his trap early due to the appearance of the princess of flame. The fiend didn’t speak to the girl, as he didn’t want to breathe the existence of the girl to an enemy of his true lord and master; Iblis. Innocentius soon heard his order and released a roar before it turned into a laugh. ”Alright boy, let’s see how much more you can take before you’re running around naked”. The flames around the demon’s body raged before it leaped forward into the air over the water before bridging the geyser and slamming its body into the ground. The ground suddenly began to erupt with giant geyser of fire which came to points like daggers. Within the burst of randomizing flames the demon swirled around the flames as they caught hold of the grass causing the field to catch a blaze with Innocentius’ area. The area around the fiend became a sea of fire once again and Innocentius raced forward with great speed in order to slam into the injured wind demon once more. The fiend enjoyed seeing the demon whimper in pain, but it still wasn’t enough.
Meanwhile within the sky, Garuda saw the signal for it being her turn to enter the battle. The flying demon removed her lower two wings once more and it became her bow once again. The demon took aim from her great distance, and soon pulled back on the thread. She channeled her energy rapidly into an arrow, and soon released the arrow. The arrow hurled down towards the battle and entered the sea of flames before bursting causing the flames to grow large and hotter than they previously were. Garuda prepared another arrow and aimed for Akemi this time. As the Pazuzu’s eyes narrowed she released the arrow with great precision. As the arrow fell from the heavens it split into one hundred smaller arrows of wind that rained down to cover the general area in which Akemi could possibly dodge unless she wanted to risk moving through the arrows in order to closer to her goal. Either way, she’d have to make a rash movement in order to dodge the barrage that was falling down from above.

Alaric answered her question about what the time meant. Adding another demon into the mix and adding a possible threat. 'How many does he have out now?' Akemi moved her eyes around without moving the rest of her body. There she could see his flame familiar Innoentius. But she saw no more on the ground. Then she remembered he also had a familiar that could fly. In matter of fact he had two. Her eyes took it to the sky and there she saw Garuda. Then Alaric answered her question. This was going to prove to be a true hassle. Listening carefully Ignazio explained the rules of the training exercise. No sleep, no food, and no leaving the forest for three whole days. Seemed like an unneccesary amount of danger for a training session but he made a point. The opponent wont hold back just because they were teenagers. And they certainly wont hold back because you're tired and weak. so she understood what it was he was trying to teach the two of them. Ignazio then started to summon yet another familar. His holy words started to echo and the ground beneath their feet started to glow. The space between the two of the glowed the brightest and six large roots came bursting out of the ground. All six of them came to a sharp point and whipped around the area mindlessly before moving to pierce their target. Ignazio took no time at all adding her to the mix and she took no time reacting to it. She had to recall what it was she read exactly in the book hours ago. She studied all of the morning up until this point. All the books told her what she needed to know and how to use it. personally for her, she had to understand what it was exactly she was doing in order for her to preform the needed task. Now was the chance to put her studies into action. Akemi raised both her hands about stomach height and wrapped her finger tips around the gold band around her right ring finger. The red ruby on it shined in the light as she wiggled it off her finger. The ring itself was only to help keep her from using her powers completely. Taking off the ring wouldn't cause her to transform into a partial demon, it just enabled her to use her natural born talents. These roots where made of plants, which meant they were easily burned. The words of the passages she read were engraved into her brain and echoed in her head as she started to resit them. 'focus my engery into my desired area, heat up the physical properties to the point it bursts into flames.' She stood still as she glared at the roots aimed straight for her body. Focusing her Qi into the roots she poured it into it;s own molecules bursting them into flames. The roots quickly englufed into flames. But not any ordinary flame, these flames were gold. Just as gold as the ring she held in her hand. Her eyes narrowed at the sights of the flames before remembering that tragic day from her childhood. The screams of the women and children echoed in her head. All she could remember seeing was the walls engulfed in those same golden flames of hers.
Meanwhile A large arrow shot from the skies hurled down in her direction. at first it seemed easy enough to dodge but then when it broke up it created hundreds of arrows barreling down on her. She stood there staring at the flames almost as if she was frozen with despair. The ground shaking beneath her feet quickly brought her back to reality and her life reappeared inside her eyes. "Remain focused." She scolded herself for forgetting the task at hand. looking up she realized there was a great number of arrows closing in on her and she had little time to react. That's what she got for letting her fears take control of her mind. Looking at the arrows there seemed to be more over to the side of where Ignazio stood. Her shot was cleverly thought through trying to kill two birds with one stone. Aiming for akemi and making sure her route to Ignazio was cut off. With the little time remaining for means of escape she had to run. Run as fast as she could further away from Ignazio. The dirt beneath her feet kicked up as she ran along the ground. The arrows pierced into the ground and a cloud of dust rose as all of them made contact with the ground. Akemi herself barley made it without injury. But it was too close of a call. she knew that if she was in Alaric position she could of surely at least been cut on her arms and legs from the lack of energy she had. But being she just entered into the fry she had a high chance of moving about. As the dust settled Akemi was shown standing there staring at Ignazio. The same cold look was in her eyes and emotionless face. However she also shown to be focus, thinking. If these was was now a team effort in attempt to hit Ignazio just once, then that meant Alaric and herself would have to come up with some sort of a plan in order to attack him, while still dodging the attacks of his familiars. With the little time she had before another attack she started to think. 'Wind, Fire, Earth, and water. The four basic elements.' She then started to think of the combo moved that Ignazio was preformed against the two half breeds. While thinking she kept a close eye on ignazio and his familiars.

It seemed that Akemi was going trained along side him and not pinned against him, at least during this exercise. This was good thing because he personally wouldn't be able to handle Ignazio, his familiars, and Akemi all at once, so he was relieved. However even though he didn't have worry about Akemi they did have to worry about another familiar, Garuda, if Alaric was pinned against her he could at least be at a even playing ground to a extent, but Ignazio sent her after the gunslinger Exwire. This meant he had to go against the hot head familiar, Innocentius, which was perfectly fine for him since he did what to pay back the beast for burning up his uniform. Alaric got himself ready to battle the beast of flames until he notice that the knives he blocked started to expel a large amount of energy, large roots burst out of the ground and towards Akemi, this wasn't all as geysers erupt from the lake. He couldn't help but to think, "Well I have to say Ignazio does like to put a show on." Alaric eyes widen slightly as Akemi made the roots burn, "She is also an apparition like me?" This was more of a shocker to him then her being a half demon. Even though he was shock, he did think this could be useful later on in the fight.
Innocentius's roar jerked back Alaric attention back to his actual opponent. Alaric smirked, "You would like to see me naked wouldn't you? You flaming perv" he joked. He watched as the creature leap into the air over the water. Alaric could feel the vibration as the creature made contact to the earth. With this beast he couldn't just the basic since the beast didn't have a real body and if it did it was cover with a large amount of flames, Alaric couldn't take the chance by touching it. Alaric had to come up with an strategy that can take Innocentius out of the picture, but how can he take a being that burn through anything? There wasn't much time for him to come up with different ways, there was less then five minutes before Ignazio released another one of his familiars. Alaric had no clue about the other familiars, he only knew of the fire and the wind familiar. He did assume that others are most likely a element base, but that was only assumption that he can't completely go off on. So instead of fighter a third unknown familiar along with Innocentius and Garuda, they had to take out one of them.
Alaric eyes narrowed as the fiend charged at him with a sea of flames just like before. This time Alaric wasn't going to allow the beast to make contact with his body and burn more of his clothes. Before Alaric could make a counter the flames of Innocentius became much large from the wind arrow that Garuda made. Instead of defensing Alaric manipulated the wind around him and jumped high into the air and completely missed the attack from the beast. If he actually was hit by this sea of flames he could have actually died. He didn't think that Garuda was going to focus on his fight as well, but it should have been expected. He couldn't waste any time by just floating in the air, he still had to think of the fact that another familiar was going to join the battle if he didn't do anything, also he still have to hit Ignazio. He couldn't worry about hitting Ignazio he should worry about taking out his beasts and all they would have to worry about is his Aria abilities. Lightning started to form within his left as it took form into a black orb. Manipulating the wind around his body once more he shot down at Innocentius, "If you feel like reusing a attack against me I will do the same," he said. His left arm shot downward in front of his body and shot the black orb at the flame creature, "Gravity Well!". This was the same attack that almost took out the creature before, but Ignazio large Qi destroyed it from the inside. The black orb started to spread over the Innocentius and his sea of flames, he hoped to capture the fiend within and suck away the beast oxygen supply. Alaric landed in between the dome and the lake as he waited to see if his attack made any effect. He also kept his eye on Ignazio, he was getting himself ready for an attack from either side.
’So she’s finally accepting herself as a demon.’”It’s about time you stopped fearing that power, now what will you do with this!” Ignazio leaped backwards and then pushed his left hand towards Akemi releasing a single Qi Blast from his hand with enough for to destroy a tree into splinters if it came in contact with the golden sphere that was released for his hand towards the girl. The young exorcist exhaled as the blast of energy left his body with great speed and furry. The tamer slid to a stop before turning his head to check on the battle of Innocentius and Alaric, and it was at a good time the tamer turned to check on his familiar, he knew Garuda would be able to hold off Akemi while he focused on Alaric for a moment. Time would run out soon, before he’d have to summon yet another familiar into the battle.
Ignazio smirked as he watched as the Alaric dodged the attack so easily, although it was slightly to be expected coming from a wind apparition of his caliber. ”Don’t get cocky up there.” The young tamer wasn’t finished yet, as he pulled out a stack of papers cut in a rectangle shape, about ten total. The young heir lashed his hand towards the direction of Innocentius, freeing the paper from his hands allowing their energy to release as they flew and attached themselves to the wall of the swirling energy. Ignazio watched as the talismans attached themselves to the wall of the demonic spell and soon the energy level began to shatter as the talismans equated to the amount power of the gravity well. He sighed as he looked up at Alaric and then created a seal with his hands. It was the same one used for the binding spell that he always started off his battles with. The gravity well suddenly shattered into shards of energy and vanished into thin air, just as it was created.
Ignazio didn’t change his hand seal, instead he looked up at Alaric and released his Qi into the range of the spell; he began chanting the same verse over three times ”Un Bai Shiwarandai Sowaka. Un Shishirokuri Sowaka” the talismans that Ignazio threw along the gravity well was still in place as the glowed with a ghostly blue light just as Ignazio’s body did and a silver like deity formed behind him. Soon the deity vanished as blue sphere appeared before Ignazio’s hands and then shot into the center of the talismans into the flames before racing into the air and splitting into four different sphere. They moved around Alaric’s body in a slow rotation before it created a dome around his body and fell to the ground and trapped Innocentius within the walls as well. ”This is a Bishamonten barrier. Also known as a barrier exorcism, specifically created for those kin of the Demon God of Wind, Anyanka.” Ignazio called up to Alaric’s body as he lowered his hands from the seal and clapped his hands together completing the barrier causing the blue light to glow brightly.
”I should explain, this barrier itself was originally created to exorcise a large number of vengeful spirits at one time, as well as those under their position. But it works pretty well against those who fall under the domain of Anyaka as well. You see, this barrier is very different from normal anti-demon barriers. Its selective about the type of energy that is released within it which means only things on a divine level such as sacred sutras or holy magic from fatal verse will produce normal effects. In the case of demonic energy it becomes harder to control and gain once its lost within the barrier. You see, the barrier acts as a magnet towards Qi so it will be as strong as the amount of Qi that is within its walls. So basically with Innocentius in there and yourself, the barrier is pretty powerful. But typically the more demons within its walls the tougher it becomes.” Ignazio explain as he turned and looked at Akemi and smile before focusing his Qi into his left hand creating a sphere of golden light. ”I guess I should do something with you before you attempt anything, but I should remind you, there is a fire demon inside, so you trying to break through with any flame attacks, and succeeding will only mean in making Innocentius even stronger.” He said as he started to charge the Qi within his left hand as he looked at her with a smirk. ’If he does something else like that again, or Akemi manages to break the barrier I’m going to be in for a bit of trouble if I run out of energy.’
As the black sphere started to circle him it was soon replaced by talismans and shattered before a blue sphere covered a portion of the area, putting Alaric and himself into a cage fight so to speak. Innocentius turned and looked at his master as he felt the large difference in Qi that he just used in order to fight off both opponents. Innocentius summoned his sword before roaring and pointing the cross blade towards the stationary half demon sending the flames around him on the ground towards him. Innocentius released more energy outwards as he received his tribute from Ignazio in order to remain in Assiah. The flames started to eat at the oxygen in the area causing the flames to climb along the walls of the barrier and pincer towards Alaric, giving him little areas to escape. Being a demon of the flame, the barrier didn’t have authority over his demonic energy unlike the half wind demon in front of him. Innocentius wasn’t bothered from being trapped in the cage. The flames swirled and bound off the walls with the fiery demon in the center on the fire, taunting Alaric. ”The same move won’t work on Ignazio twice either boy. You forget, we are one with him.” the brute called toward the demon as there wasn’t many options for him at this point against the fire demon. Innocentius enjoyed the smaller space and optioned the barrier gave.
Meanwhile in the sky, Garuda watched as Alaric was trapped in a powerful barrier that she feared. It was like a cage to her people and she hated not being able to fly free, for Ignazio to release such a spell in front of her he must have been serious. The woman took aim once again with the bow and another arrow formed before she released it from the quill. Like lightning the arrow made of air shattered through the clouds and exploded once again into another hundred arrows. She prepared another area and released it creating yet another hundred falling arrows. Garuda kept the assault up, to draw Akemi’s attention and keep her busy while her master dealt with Innocentius and Alaric. She really did hate the fact the fiend was always getting into trouble. She swiftly lowered her body allowing her wings to not be hindered by the wind or caught in their grasp. She just allowed herself to be taken with the wind until she started flapping her wings just as she reached the lake. She aimed the bow and prepared herself once again to release more arrows just in case the girl managed to escape or dodge the three hundred arrows made up the very essence that was invisible to the human eye. ”I will commend her for dodging the first hundred, I didn’t expect that, but her skills have improved already. Don’t you agree, Master Barthomeloi? But I do have a question, why did you have to use so much energy on caging him. Clipping a bird’s wings would have sufficed, but to cage him too is cruel.”

The forest hadn’t changed much in the six years that had passed. Trees towered high in the sky, poisonous plants grew along the ground, some emitting toxins in the form if purple smoke. Others seemed immune, growing thick dark green leaves. But, the forest kept its dark aura- one complimented by the demonic auras she could feel. There definitely were some strong presences with in the woods. Yet, as she had felt before a majority aligned with a single qi signature. Now that Agnès had come to the edge of the woods she knew who’s qi signature she had tracked- a boy she had met only a few days before. One who people seemed to spout out rumors about more frequently than a celebrities’ child. His signature was overwhelming. But he wasn’t alone.
Agnès approached the barrier that had been put in place, lifting her right hand to its surface. Her eyes closed as she felt the interworking of its magic, and how to exploit it. It was the same spot she had used ten years before, a spot of weakness in the otherwise formidable wall. Agnès opened her icy eyes once more as she placed her left hand against the barrier, spreading her hands apart to spread the barrier’s glyph open before her. It glowed with a golden aura. The glyph had been altered to hide its weakness. To keep those who didn’t belong out. ‘Formidable.. For most your age I suppose.’ Agnès thought to herself as she began to alter the glyph. It didn’t take her long to break the code, although, it was likely the boy who had made it would be alerted to it. But it couldn’t be helped.
Agnès stepped through the hole she had made, she could hear the light touch of her wyvern behind her. She turned back to face the beast and he looked back with her with a look of curiosity. Evidently the oversized lizard didn’t want to sit out on the adventure. Agnès let out a sigh as she made room for the iridescent beast, although she was fairly sure the beast could cross on his own accord. The creature made its awkward waddle through on the forest floor- his front claws curling up towards his wings. An’givare took to the sky as soon as he found the room to soar, clearly uncomfortable attempting to walk along the ground. He soared on ahead, high above the trees towards the inner forest.
Agnès shook her head as she watched the beast take off. Sometimes she had to wonder who had managed to train whom. Regardless, she turned once more towards the barrier and sealed it up once more. The young heiress then turned and began to walk in the direction An’givare had taken flight. Careful to keep vigilance for the unexpected, one could never know what monsters the woods hid. But there seemed to be no other unusual qi signatures she could feel- other than the ones she was already aware of.
It hadn’t been long before Agnès could smell smoke and ash, the burning of some of the ancient trees. Shortly after she found glade which had been burned- A fairly large blue bubble formed in the distance. Encasing a fiery fiend and what seemed to be a boy with in. The young Barthomeloi tamer stood some distance away from this barrier. Looking up she noticed another familiar kept high in the skies- a Pazuzu. While she couldn’t yet see the last anomaly she sensed- Agnès could feel it was close by. She could sense her own beast flying around above as he typically would- slow and easy. Not unlike a hawk watching looking for its next meal.
Agnès stepped back into the timeless forest. Obscuring her exact location, as she paced through the woods closer to the Barthomeloi. Although, she knew the young tamer likely was fairly aware she was around. If he didn’t see the wyvern circling above, his pazuzu certainly would. They were reputed for their sharp eyesight and keen senses. ‘I don’t believe Travion would sanction this sort of practice- if it is practice. Perhaps some sort of grudge. Regardless.. The Vatican would be most interested in knowing the lowest of its ranks have been allowed to wander these woods.’ She thought to herself. Agnès was reminded however that releasing this information would also require her informing the boy’s father as well. A delightful conversation to be sure- one that could happen soon than Agnès could wish for.

Alaric eyes widen as dome began to shatter like it was glass. His dome had no chance against Ignazio talisman. He was completely off guarded, he didn't think Ignazio was going to waste his energy to save Innocentius like that, he figured that Ignazio would save most of his energy for his next familiar or use his energy to attack Alaric, but he was completely wrong. A large amount of of his energy was used by that attack and he hoped that he could be able take the hot headed fiend out of the battle, but Ignazio was ahead of him once more. Alaric couldn't help, but to get annoyed. No matter what he does Ignazio knew what he was going to do next and even if he didn't he knew what to do to stop him. The more he thought about him the more he annoyed, but the habit of his caused him to hide, he didn't want it to overcome him. As he try to hold his anger he began to shake a bit, so much of his anger already spread throughout his body, he didn't know how long he could hold it back.
Suddenly his anger turned into shock as the talisman he just used started to glow blue, "What the hell?" Alaric had no idea he what was going on. He quickly looked at Ignazio and saw a type deity behind him, Alaric body felt heavy in fear. The thought, Whats going to happen next, went through his mind over and over. Alaric never felt so much fear before in his life. This fear was not just caused by the deity, but because his emotion started to get the best of him and started to cloud his judgment, so something that wouldn't scare him much before now terrifies him. His head jolted back and forth as the the spheres circled around his body, he did know what to do at this moment. Alaric looked slightly up as the spheres started to form into a barrier around him, this was the first time he been in a barrier this tiny before. Before he could question Ignazio about what was going on, Ignazio began to explained. "Barrier exorcism? For Kin of Anyanka?" he questioned. Was Ignazio planning to exorcism him? Did he agree to train Alaric just so he can exorcism him out here in this forest? All these thoughts filled his mind. He was snapped out of his thought as Ignazio continued to explain.
Alaric listen to every word Ignazio said, each word scared him even more, "So basically I can't use my demonic abilities? I no longer have control over my element?" Alaric began to freak out a bit. As long as he can remember he could always use the ability to manipulate the wind, this manipulation was apart of him, his life was the wind. Now he can't use this ability within this small barrier. He started to feel like the walls were to close to him, he felt like he no room to move at all. He never had much of nightmares, but at this moment he realize what his nightmare was. His body started to shake as he fell to his knees, "This can't be happening. This is all just a dream. This can't be real." Alaric has started to lose grip on reality during this moment.
Suddenly he felt extreme heat. With what will power he had, he looked up to see he was surrounded by flames. He noticed that he was starting to lose oxygen and has become harder for him to breath. Was he really going to die? Alaric took a deep breath outward, it seemed like he calmed himself down, but it was that at all, his mind just cracked a bit. "Shut the hell up you fire breath," he muttered as he stood up. His head still looked downward as he spoke, "If your one with him, then I can just pretend you are Ignazio as I beat the crap out of you!" His head quickly looked up at Innocentius, his eyes filled with anger. Even though he had no clue who he was the son of The Wind King Anyanka, his stare said differently. It seemed like his eyes could see right into the demon soul. He glanced over at Ignazio with the same eyes, "You wanted me to show my emotion and not hide them? Fine, I am going to show you how piss off I am!" he yelled as he looked at the opponent in front of him. What could he do in this situation? The Trial Sword has no use here and the Etherlite was useless against a demon made of complete flames, but there was one item that he could use against this beast, The Ring of Orla. His right arm shot up in front of him, the ring on his finger started to glow a bright golden color. "I am going to warn you I never been piss off before, so I have no clue what I am capable of, but I guess we can find out together," he yelled out at the creature. "Lightning Beasts!" he yelled out as his ring started to glow brighter. Lightning Beasts started shot out of the ring and started to surround Alaric as they block the flames from getting close to him. He kept his gaze upon Innocentius as he spoke again, "I wonder how many of my pets can you handle?!" After he spoke more and more Lightning Beasts pour out of the ring. Soon the earth within the barrier was covered with the beasts, it seemed like the ground was glowing. However this didn't stop as more and more filled the bubble barrier. "I believe I can survive from this much lightning, but I don't think your flame body can take this much!" he screamed out, Alaric was now to the point of not caring, Ignazio caging him release a being that was no longer Alaric, a being that just wants to destroy whatever gets in his way and at this moment it was Innocentius and the barrier. As Alaric was attempting to over power the fiend, he was also testing the limit of the barrier at the same time. "Moment of truth!" he yelled out as the Lightning Beasts started to glow brighter and exploded within the barrier. Alaric knew he was going to survive, but he had no clue what was going to happen to him afterward, he honestly didn't care. Ignazio put him into a corner and Alaric just snapped.
A slight change in energy in the barrier caused Ignazio’s eyes to narrow in the direction of the disturbance. He soon looked around and then felt the energy of an upper level demon and then another human enter the area. Soon he identified the aura as his eyes zoomed in on the location of the woman hiding. ’Damn it, really, she had to show up and bring her stupid dragon. I don’t have the energy to play with her or that thing right now. This is starting to be a real pain in the a**.’ the tamer thought as he moved backwards a little and changed his positioning and entered a defensive stance. He knew ending their training now would only hinder them, but being caught in the forest by a senior exorcist was still a problem. The fact she never made her presence known to the others did keep their focus mainly on their tasks Ignazio gave out. He couldn’t help but grit his teeth as he listened to Garuda speak. Slightly looking at the Pazuzu behind him Ignazio closed his eyes for a second and responded rather loudly so their new guess could hear everything he was saying. ”They are both great for their inexperience in the field, but the facts don’t change, a training exercise in the methods of the Barthomeloi are brutal and test more than the physical and spiritual skills of a person, but it test their mental ones as well. If they can’t survive these attacks or the brutal force that I’m showing them, then they aren’t ready for anything like a mission or even the Qualification Examinations which are coming up soon.”
Just like that, at the end of his sentence his ringer began to go off on his phone in his rear pocket. Ignazio’s phone was silent and everything usually vibrated when it wasn’t important. The only people whom receive a ringer were his father and messages from the Vatican. Ignazio peered behind himself slightly but then quickly faced forward as the ringer stopped. ’Three chimes, which means it’s the Vatican. I wonder if it’s the information I requested through my father’s branch.’ he thought but quickly shifted his attention and removed the thoughts from his head. Ignazio continued to charge the force of Qi within his left hand as he prepared it and locking on to the Qi signature within the forest behind his talisman barrier in place.
Suddenly a bright light caught him by surprise as he noticed the inside of the barrier covered in lightning and flame before it exploded creating a massive twister of fire and pure electricity striking around the area. Ignazio leaped backwards hard and held his right arm out for Garuda as he dodged the bolt that was originally heading towards him. ”You idiot!” he called out as he looked out to the destroyed barrier and shook his head slowly. ”Innocentius!” Ignazio called out as flames were burning the ground around Alaric and where Innocentius once stood. Ignazio’s hand connected to Garuda’s hand and soon hovered as he kept the sphere of Qi within his hand. He was now upset about the fact he had to end the session because Alaric did something risky and could have possibly killed himself from such an attack. ”I never gave you permission to watch a private training session. Senior Exorcist Edefelt” Ignazio called out as he pushed his left hand in the direction of the woman hiding within the forest. Fifty waves of golden energy expelled from his hand and began to barrage through the forest destroying the ground and the trees that they touched.
The tamers eyes glared as he released the Qi, he knew he’d have to deal with the dragon that was circling above as he attacked its master, but Ignazio was pretty confident in Garuda’s speed and grace in case of dealing with the flying lizard that owned the sky above for the time being. Ignazio sighed as he clinched his hand into a fist canceling the Qi and turning and looking over at Alaric’s body, but he couldn’t see anything with the smoke clouding the area. ”Garuda, let’s move.” he commanded the flying familiar.
Innocentius had released a torrent of flames to hold back the lightning beast as the struck and were destroyed from the flames, but as soon as they all exploded at once the flames and lightning collided and created a devastating force that shattered the barrier causing a minor explosion. Fire spewed along the land and lightning struck the grass creating more flames. The fiend was nowhere in sight even after his master called for him. The fiend’s body seemed to have been destroyed in the explosion. But something that most tamers and experts in demonology knew about Fiends was their expect ability to heal their bodies, even if they are completely destroyed they have the unique natural ability to regenerate as long as there was fire in the area. In Innocentius’ case he had his master’s Qi storage which would accelerate the process along with the flames. Moments later the flames began to move rapidly into a single location; the very location the beast Innocentius once stood. As the flames connected, Innocentius’ body had formed, but this time he was without the massive amounts of flames around his bare skin. Alaric had managed to remove the protective layer of fire from the fiend, and he was low on his own energy in order to reproduce the unnatural heat created from the flames let alone the flames themselves on his own. Innocentius required energy from his master. The demon started to laugh as his body reformed and he looked over to see his master coming over with Garuda. ”This kid’s got some power behind his bark. I’m impressed! But he’s got a ways to go before being able to tame it, let alone use it wisely. He actually almost sent me back to Gehenna, I didn’t think I’d receive such a shock. But thanks to your barrier, my powers were limited too. Ignazio. Do me a favor and don’t do that again.”
Garuda’s keen eyes caught the light and rushed over towards Ignazio just second after he leaped out of the way and took him into the air. Soon they lowered back to the ground and she placed both of her feet on the scorched earth and looked around before looking at Innocentius. ”Show some respect Innocentius. You were well aware what was going to happen. Master wouldn’t have had to seal you in there if you didn’t manage to get caught in a Gravity Well again. We talked about that a few weeks ago. You’re the sword of the team, shouldn’t you be sharper.” she squawked as she walked behind Ignazio and attached the bow back to her back allowing all four of her wings to flap before hanging down behind her. The Pazuzu stood with pride and turned and looked for the girl that she had been firing arrows at previously and then looked into the forest for the woman that had been hiding. She then looked up to the skies and watched the dragon circle the area. She knew if needed she’d have to move Ignazio away from the area as quickly as possible. Garuda was well aware of her duties as a servant to the young Barthomeloi heir, but something inside of her told her she didn’t think Innocentius was ready for his title as Ignazio’s Knight while she was his Archer.

Ignazio started to mock Akemi. This was this first time she had used her powers after that night and also using them in front of him. Until now Ignazio had never see her demonic powers other than the fact of her body heating up. He had sent a golden orb in her direction and her eyes narrowed with anger."Don't test me Mr. Barthomeloi.' Akemi gathered her hands together and allowed the palms to touch. By focusing her QI in between her hands she was able to heat of the area between then creating a small ball of fire. As she moved her hands further away from each other the ball grew. Akemi stopped bulding the ball once it reached to size of the golden orb. Taking the ball into one hand she cocked her arm back threw it at the golden ball. Her golden flames and his golden orb hurdled into each other and exploded on contact. Ignazio was seen leaping backwards putting more distance between the two of them. He was clearing planing on attacking her himself if he felt the need to back up. Sending a blast in her direction it quickly and ferociously approached her. It came at her with such speed that she had no time for a counter attack at all. the only thing she could do was dodge the attack by leaping to her left and extended her. Palms pressed against the ground and by using the momentum she was able to sling her body back onto her feet and stay clear of the blast. The blast flew into the tree line behind her and slammed into them.
Looking over Ignazio had moved half of his attention other half demon. Putting the poor boy into a barrier. But Ignazio was kind enough to tell Alaric exactly what kind of barrier it was exactly. Ignazio then turned his attention back to her and created a sphere of golden light. He was preparing for another attack and making sure she didn't interfer with the battle of fire and wind. Akemi wanted to help but she had other things she had to worry about.
In the skies the familiar started to maker her move as well. Akemi kept her eyes on the winged demon and could see he pulling back on the sting and firing. But she couldn't see anything. though she shouldn't be surprised considering air is invisible to the naked eye. Being that she already knew it was going to be arrows. But there was one thing she wasn't sure of, and that was what kind of arrows they were exactly. How could she defend herself against something she couldn't see. A true challenge indeed. she started to think of the equipment she had with her and if anything could help her. Then she remembered. Earlier the flying archer had combined her arrows with the fire kin's flames. Wind enhances the effects of fire, the oxygen the wind arrows give allow the flames to take hold. As far as Akemi knew there was a LEAST three arrows she sent flying her way. But she knew there was something more to it. It was a risky idea but it was all she had come up with. Reaching for her equipment belt hidden underneath her shirt she pulled out an Incendiary Grenades. This grenade will explode into flames when it's detonated. The pressed the trigger and threw it into the air as high as she could. A large cloud of flames appeared over head and as the inadvisable arrows traveled through it they caught hold of the flames making themselves visible. Now that most of the arrows were now visable she could better asses the situation. Little did she know a few arrows had managed to pass the grenade and are still secretly heading down her way. Akemi manuevered her way on the ground looking at the sky, careful to keep out of the way of the arrows. She had to be quick and light on her feet . While she was in motion the arrows that she still could see cut her right shoulder, left arm, and right side.
Once all the arrows landed the ground was on fire and akemi stood on the other side, Her arms and side cut she knew this demon was going to be tricker to handle than she thought. Her original goal was to only use her powers in order to train them better, however it was proving to be a tedious problem. She has had enough of playing cat and mouse she she reached back into the holster at the back of the belt and beared her gun in her left hand. Behind the flames of the ground and her cold focused look in her eyes, Akemi almost appeared to be a true demon."I've had enough of these games." She said coldly to the tamer and pointed to gun right at him. Even though it was loaded with banishing bullets it would still cause damage to his human body. It would act as if it was a normal bullet entering into his flesh. Akemi aimed for his leg and pulled the trigger. The loud gun shot filled the air and the bullet left the barrel traveling to it's intended target. But before the bullet could reach him the archer had wisked him off his feet and into the air, causing her bullet to miss it's target. From the look on his face as he traveled into the trees there was someone else in the area. Akemi lowered her weapon to her side but kept a firm grip on the base of the gun. Looking around she saw a blonde women enter into the area. 'This isn't good.' she thought to herself. As the female approached akemi could see the pin she wore, the badge of an exorcist. They were caught inside the forest and Akemi heard the flapping of wings above. These wings sounded different than Ignazio's wingged archer, they sounded heavier. Looking up she could see a dragon familiar flying above the tree line. 'That must be her's she thought to herself and looked back down to the women. It was now curtal to keep her true demonic heritage hidden. It was almost certain that she already knew of Alaric and herself being half breed because of their demonic aoura. But if she found out the truth there was sure to be a problem.

Equipment Name: Banishing Bullets x2 Description: These are known as Banishing Bullets, they are made from sacred steel blessed by four of the world’s most virtuous monks, which is the same method in order to create a demon sword but instead of placing the soul of a demon into the steel, the bullets are in a raw purified form laced in holy water and holy wine, which makes them highly dangerous towards low and mid-level demons. Etched into the side of the bullets is a crucifix which binds this hold power together. Demons shot with one of these bullets can lead directly to death because of the high amount of holy energy.
