By now Faster had lost count of how many geese he had caught, or how many he had seen other kin catch. Now it was just the lone goose he tracked, away from shouts and searches and hoof-stomps: away from those who thought that geese were sentient. He saw the red in the corner of his eye and realized that Might had been cleverer even than its master.

Oh wow! Just sitting there a goose had run by. Smiling as Bug decided to bring it to them. This was great to her hooves. They were getting a bit sore from all the running in the swamp, again.

Its caw gave the signal: Might was directly in front of Faster, and the goose immediately turned back. Back, that was, into Faster's waiting hooves; his large, unyielding body built of muscle and fur and power. He bit its neck almost gently. Its wings stopped flapping.
