"If I knew we were gonna be having this much fun, I would've liked to join up sooner!" Maddy called out from within the truck.
It was kind of a tight squeeze in here with everyone packed inside, but she didn't mind. However, she was looking forward to a nice comfy bed to sleep in.

The massive grin on Allen's face slowly fell, the adrenaline high he was on finally started subsiding. The sobering effects of the sirens caught hold. He clenched up, pulling into himself, hoping this truck was fast enough.

Archie cranks the radio up, blasting 'East Bound and Down'.
"YYYEEAAAHHH!!! HANG ON BABIES, IT'S GONNA BE ROUGH!"
There's a large bump and the truck begins shaking. It seems the truck is off-roading now.
"DON'T JUST SIT AROUND AND BE USELESS! BLAST THOSE CARS WITH YOUR POKEMON!"

((Yeah he did. Wink wink.)) Cody took off down the street after the truck, waving his arms furiously. "Wait, wait!" he shouted. Putting his arms down, Cody sprinted at top speed after the truck, hoping he could catch up before it accelerated and he wouldn't be able to catch it anymore. After reaching his peak, Cody noticed he was starting to gain ground on the truck. With a little more effort, he was able to push himself to run faster and catch the truck, grabbing onto a metal handle on the back and pulling himself into the back. "That was close..." Upon hearing Archie's orders, Cody reached for his Pikachu's pokeball, but after remembering his last battle, put in back in his pack. "Damn... Fainted..." He reached for Axew, and called upon his baby dragon pal. He appeared in a beam of light and instantly started blasting at the cop cars with Dragon Rage. "Let's knock 'em out, Axew. Hit them hard!" Cody shouted, hoping for an accurate shot at one of their tires. After a few missed blasts, one struck right through the windshield and nailed the passenger cop hard, knocking him out and into the driver, running their car off the road and into a tree. "Score, Axew! Good work!"

Maddy blinked a few times in disbelief at the orders and released her Axew from his Pokeball. She grabbed hold of the Pokemon tightly and held him out the window.
"Use Draco Meteor!"
Axew summoned a large blue- and yellow-flamed meteor from sky. It struck one of cop cars directly, causing it to explode.
Maddy pulled her Pokemon safely back inside the vehicle.
"I think we over did that a little..."

Reaper heard the leader's orders and grinned. "I picked the best spot for that." He said and brought out his Starly along with his Corphish who was already out. "Starly, use Heat Wave and Corphish, use Sludge Bomb. Aim for the cop cars." He told the two as Starly flapped his wings emitting heat waves towards the vehicles and Corphish shot globs of gunk at the vehicles, causing several of them to crash.

Feeling useless with no able pokemon, Ike zig-zagged his way through the bumpy swerving truck and grabbed a tire jack. What good would it do? Not much, he thought, but at least he looked like he was helping. He thought about throwing the jack at the cruisers, but thought against it having already committed the crime of burglary and assault and not wanting a felony for attacking a police car.

Dark leans out the side after opening a side door. He lets his Larvitar out.
"Brick, use Stealth Rock."
The Pokemon nods and shoots some rocks out of the truck, taking out the tires of some of the cars,
Suddenly the sounds of the roaring loud music becomes cut off as loud chopping sounds fill the air.
"One... Two... Three. THEY HAVE THREE CHOPPERS AFTER US!"
Dark stares at the helicopters. He recalls Larvitar and sends out Rotom.
"Thunderbolt!"
The Pokemon complies and blasts a Helicopter with lightning, shutting it down. The copter slows until it crashes into the ground.
"Two now."

With some effort, Allen grabs hold of his Seviper's Pokeball and the tightly holds onto anything he can, "Anchor yourself to me and use Venom Drench!" Seviper wraps itself around Allen's leg and sprays a liquid from it's mouth. The greenish purple venom coats the nearby cars, severely cutting sight through the windows. After a moment a couple of the cars veer off into rails and trees.

Hunter called out Larvitar and opened the rear doors. "Give'em a Dark Pulse." Larvitar nodded, turned towards the back, and closed his eyes. Dark energy began to build in front of him, and when it was finally large enough, Larvitar released it at the police cars.

"Larvitar? Do some damage," Sport says to his only remaining Pokémon. Larvitar looks up at his trainer and nods. Conjuring a pile of rocks from nowhere, he begins to hurl them at the police cars. They smash through windshields and crush the hoods. Sport manages an evil grin. "That'll even up the odds."

The truck made a wild lunge forward and caused the tire jack to slip from Ike's grip. The tire jack went flying out of the back of the truck, rolled and bounced backward, then got jammed up in one of the leading cruiser's front tires. The jam caused the car to jimmy forward, flip into the air and land on its hood upside down. A cruiser following behind tried to break, but couldn't avoid smashing into the flipped cop car. Both were totaled.
Ike stared at the carnage and sat down in the truck, flabbergasted.

The truck hits a few major bumps and then everything begins going smooth.
"Ahhh the good 'ol hidden road to the base. We'll be back at HQ in just a few minutes... And the other grunts have prepared a decoy truck in the woods nearby. That'll get those cops off our backs."
The truck begins to slow down as we reach our destination.
"Alright, so we've got The Goods. Now clear out. I still can't trust any of you yet. Head down that hallway and wait in the main room for your rewards... And good job team, I knew selecting you people was a good choice."
He chuckles and gets out of the truck.

So that day's events were finally over after what felt like hours. With the rush over, Hunter felt weary. He trudged down the hallway into the requested room and took a seat.
"Phew," he sighed. "That was certainly something."
