"Let's not take off shirts, Ok? If you do, I won't bring in Bacon Lasagna for lunch tomorrow for us." She said remembering she had a book full of bacon related recipes. "I will even toss in making bacon bits popcorn to sneak in when we go to the movies on our date." Katie said desperate for him not to take off the shirt.

"Deal," the bacon-obsessed teen immediately replied, drooling a little at all the bacon-related food. "However, there is no such restriction against me taking off his shirt," Zero chirped cheerfully, yanking Icarus's shirt off his torso in one smooth motion and causing his red-haired brother to yelp in surprise. (Yep... I iz evil. twisted )

Katie's eyes widened at the show of male chest. "Wh-why did you do that?" She shouted covering her eyes with both hands. But peeked a minute later. She blushed harder hiding again. The girl couldn't help herself as touched his chest. Katie moaned feeling how warm it was. She found herself hugging him again. Her cheek planted over his heart. "Not a word from either of you." She said turning another shade of red.

"I was bored and figured your reaction to a shirtless Icarus would bring me entertainment... and I was right," Zero chirped cheerfully. Icarus rolled his eyes at his older brother's antics - really, if he were taller or Zero were shorter, then it would be hard to tell who was the older brother here - but he nevertheless smiled slightly and hugged Katie back, ignoring her moan for the moment.

Katie got out of Icarus's hold to glare at Zero. "Bored, huh? Well how's this for boring?" She asked before using a song in her head. She got stronger and faster. She quickly picked him up. Katie had him hung from a tree in their backyard in no time. "You bored now?" She asked forming music note wings to fly up to him. Katie flew back down smiling happily.

Zero's answer was for the tree branch he was hanging from to suddenly vaporize, Zero easily landing on his feet. "Yep, still bored," he informed Katie cheerfully before a small, unreadable gleam entered his eyes. "Friendly word of advice, though: you might want to avoid pranking fellow mutants unless you know their abilities - you never know what sort of tricks they might have up their sleeve for retribution."

Katie's answer was to have many music notes fly around him forming a barrier with him inside. Katie smiled prettily for him before darting away quickly with the help of her wings. She didn't know her using her powers fully caused purple music note tattoos to appear all over her body and her hair to grow longer. Her hair glowed a light indigo color. She happily went back to Icarus. Phantom-like headphones were over her ears along with a mic attached to it. "Icarus." She said and his name came out musically. Katie was confused at that. (( think of the vocaloids and how they have their headphones over their ears and mics right by their mouth. And she hasn't really used her powers fully like now that's why she doesn't know she could change with it.))

Icarus grinned. "Heya, Katie," he greeted her. "I take it you're done lynching Zero now?""The only way she could lynch me is if she managed to sneak up on me, and you know better than anyone else how difficult that is," Zero pointed out dryly as he entered the house. "Anyway, seriously: you might want to cut it out before I decide to strike back. On a side note, are you aware you have music notes all over your skin?"

Katie blinked before looking at her body. She squeaked seeing the change. "H-how did this happen? This never happened before." She said scared. She then looked in a mirror. Katie gasped as she turned left to right looking at the changes. Katie touched her hair. "I hope it goes away or my parents will freak."

"Well, those little music notes can do just about anything as long as you've got an appropriate song, right? You can always just use a disguise song, of some sort," Icarus reasoned. "Anyway, if this form is anything like my true form, it only appeared due to you using your powers a lot, so if you lay off the powers, you should eventually return to normal." However, his tone indicated that he rather liked this version of Katie - he personally thought it gave her an exotic look.

Katie turned to look at Icarus seeing him looking at her new form. "y-You like me like this?" She asked shyly twirling around for him. She took a breath and her true form went back in to her. Her usual human form stood before them again. "that was easy. So ready to do homework?" She asked Icarus.

"Of course - what's not to like? Anyway, ready to torch the homework when you are!" Icarus declared brightly... only to get smacked upside the head by his brother. "All right, geez, I was joking about the torching... seriously, though, cutie, ready when you are."

Katie giggled before taking out her homework. "I do want to get good grades in school, Icarus." She said sitting down at their table. She looked at the writing assignment from their history teacher before sighing. It was about how some mutants were used in WW2.

Icarus, on the other hand, took one look at the History homework before lighting his finger on fire, his intentions obvious... Only for it to get snuffed out by an unseen force. "No, Icarus. No burning the homework, no matter how bigoted it is," Zero told his brother boredly from where he was sitting over in the living room. "C'mon, man, if you saw the homework, you'd want to burn it too," Icarus whined slightly. "I said no, now don't make me suppress your powers for the day," Zero informed Icarus matter-of-factly. Icarus immediately stopped protesting, reluctantly starting to work on the homework.

Katie shuck her head at the two. She then felt her phone vibrate. "hello? Oh hi mommy." Katie said cheerfully as she motioned to the two brothers to be quiet. "Where am I? Oh i'm at a friend's house. I'm doing homework. What? Oh ok I can fend for myself for dinner. I hope you and daddy have a nice night out." Katie said in to her cellphone. She hanged up after saying i love you to her mother before going back to work on the essay. It was easy for her to ignore bigoted way her teacher was. She looked up to Icarus and Zero, "Zero, if you just offer bacon to him, he might just do what you say instead of threatening him by suppressing his powers." Katie teased.
