Hello there. mrgreen I'm Edsbigsister, but feel free to call me by any name you like. I've not been too active in the last few weeks, as I have been swept up into a job and my 1-2-1 partner had to take a little trip. I'm out of university for the summer, but generally I study art and film. Most of my hobbies fall under those categories.

I'm good, but thank you! Maybe another photographer would be interested. As it is, I try not to photoshop my pictures too much. I like to be able to capture things as they are, if that makes any sense... xp I bought photoshop when I bought my new laptop. Yay student discounts (I was enrolled in college courses at the time. also got a discount on my macbook).

I hate those days. My friend is having one of those weeks, where nothing seems to be coming up right. Whenever that happens to me I try to just relax and remember that at least no one's trying to shoot me, haha.


That's too bad, I would have liked to have seen that. As for the roleplay, scifi is fun too. It's basically wizards, just with electrons instead of magic! That sucks about your job though. I would ask what happened but that seems rude.

I had the same problem, I used to be around here all the time, and then all the stuff that I was involved in started to slow down and then stopped, and then I ended up winding down and disappearing for a long time. It's a vicious cycle.

Hahaha, well it's a good thing you've never sewn your hand together at least. I do that sometimes with movies, too, just put an old familiar one on in the background so that I have some noise behind me, but I don't actually have to watch it.

Yeah, it is always nice to have a movie to watch or listen to.

So, wizards, pirates, and halfbreed human/animals? Ok, so it's a fantasy universe where about anything goes. ^^ This is fun. Not sure what a gunslinger is, but apparently it involves guns. That doesn't mean we need the technology for it though. We could always do a magical version of guns - that gives the wider variety of types of "guns" too, lots of room for creativity, if it would still apply to "gunslinger" (I don't want to steal your thunder, Trance, so if this in any way messes with your idea of your gunslinger, please feel free to shoot it down). If it's a device that shoots magic, for example, those "bullets" could be and do anything. I once did a roleplay with someone who had a character whose gun erased memories instead of doing damage. It was pretty cool.

If anything goes, we could even allow personally created creatures (as long as they were well-developed, of course: not overpowered and whatnot).

But we do still need a plot...


- If we don't end up with any other, more simple plot, we can go for one of my typical plots for anything-goes type worlds: a strange new species starts somehow becoming known and a group gathers to investigate and learn more about it. Leaves room for all sorts of misunderstandings about the group to build up, all anyone has to go on at first is rumors and the occasional personal experience of something the creatures may or may not have actually done. And also, random groups that gather together for the sake of one common goal do not always get along or agree on how to go about that goal, so that leaves room for internal issues to develop as well... Of course, that plot relies a lot on the creation of a well-rounded, mysterious group of creatures and good presentation of said group, and I don't really want that responsibility to fall on my shoulders, personally. But in case we don't come up with a better idea, I thought I would throw that out there...
