The protein powder shortage in his room was making him worry.

There was something in the sand that was not a bar of soap. It looked more like a piece of paper, actually. Jordan picked it up and looked it over curiously, brushing the sand off it. A map of some kind? He couldn't identify the location.
Then he spotted the initials and room number at the bottom of the map and nearly dropped it again. Lost property. He'd just ... stop by later and slide it under the door.

Oh Hm. Nevermind. Cass had thought she'd seen something, but it was just the corner of a flier that had all of the ink washed off of it and was a giant inkstain now.

Solomon had been thoroughly enjoying the runic tablet he'd found and decided to go take another look around the beach, just in case there was anything else fun around there.
Somehow he felt like soap was the way of the universe laughing horrendously at him and his life choices. For that reason, he felt compelled to keep it.

Today's venture to the beach seemed as if it would not be fruitful again, and Mimsy opted to give up early instead of locating just another bar of soap. She had still not determined anything useful that could be done with it, and it was just becoming a waste of space.
