Well it was one thing to have Allan finally following them, quite another to figure out where the ******** to go next.

He raised a brow at Jerry's question, up looked like it might be their best bet right now, given that they weren't sure how they'd gotten there in the first place.

"We are going to do a quick sweep of the premises and then there's a erm. An office theme party. This is like, the intro and s**t. Just play along. And erm." he eyed the apple. "Probably best not to eat anything else. Health and safety and s**t, dude."

Duly noted, Mark, Ami thought to herself. Of course, it had always been her intention to bring the doctor back, but it was good to get Mark's confirmation that this was indeed the right man.

< Isn't he actin' kinda ... uh ... funny? >

Ami had to agree. H didn't fit the profile of "whalesong enthusiast" to her. "Ah ... relaxation is indeed important, but we're here to take you back to Deus Ex, sir. You know, shields down, Merlin missing, Excalibur gone, Clarice dead. Kind of a bad time to take a vacation."

Kat was near tearing up from silent laughter as she continued to hold her hand over her own mouth. Finally wiping the tears from her eyes, she coughed, and straightened herself out. She didn't know much of Doctor H, but she knew this was a little out of character for him. Or was it..?

At the sound of Mark's voice over the headphones, Kat snorted. "Hidden genius?" But he was right. Not at the hidden genius bit, but at bringing H back with them. "Right, right."

Raising a brow at the whole mention of relaxation and whale songs, Kat's lip twitched into a small grin. "Yeah, what she said. But you can always bring your whale song cd and listen to it back at Deus, I'm sure."

"Uh... uh this way, sir!" Jerry called, and ran for the stairs, hoping Allen would follow.

Handfuls - hundreds - of mostly well-dressed undead in in Hawaiian and tropical themed shirts stained with blood seem to have found the gathered Hunters (and one civilian).

Allen took another bite of his apple just as an undead worker swiped at him and nearly impaled him. He didn't seem to notice and had taken out his cell phone, instead, attempting to connect to the server to read his old e-mails, just to make sure he hadn't missed anything else important going on today, like surprise costume parties.

OOC

ZOMBIE INVASION TAKEOVER CHASING AFTER THE SUN TEAM: HP 500/500

It seems your noise has attracted quite a crowd! While zombies don't have that much HP, when a herd of them combine together, it is quite a power to behold. There is the option of staying to fight, but you also have a civilian to watch out for! Allen (with an e) is unable to fight for himself, all auto damage done will be done to him. He currently has 30/30 HP.
- The horde of zombies have 500/500 HP. They do 5 auto damage.
- That means if you do not FLEE, he will take 5 auto damage every swing each player makes.

You have the option of FLEEING. To do so, each team member should roll 1d6 every single time they make an rp post. If you roll a 1 or 6, Allen takes 2 damage. Write his total HP remaining at the OOC bottom of your post. After you have made FIVE fleeing rolls you have outrun the zombies. This can happen on top of everything else happening right now.

"Oh... oh god-" Jerry mumbled before turning on his heal to make a run for the door.

But Allen was still... standing there. Eating his apple as the undead erupted out around them. "RUN!!" He managed to wail.

"Sir, we need to get out of here," Jordan said urgently, taking Allen's arm and attempting to steer him towards the exit. "It's gotten a little too rowdy." ******** zombies. At least they were the relatively slow type.

"No kidding." Allen seemed a little disappointed as one made off with his cell phone. "I've heard this company was fun and exciting but this wasn't exactly what I had in mind."

However, thankfully, he followed them a little closer.

[ FLOOR 7 ]

It smelled terrible.

Gale slowly lifted a foot to step over what appeared to be an overturned chair, resisting the urge to breathe through his nose, though the stale air was capable of making him gag. Gritting his teeth together to prevent this, he gave a sidelong glance at the first door he passed, a pair of deadened, white eyes staring back out at him, a slimy, fleshy hand pressed flat against the pane of the glass. A few of them thumped on the doors, but Gale bypassed these, and kept moving.

There was a crunch beneath his feet; he glanced down, catching sight of a piece of paper with the words Come to Office Luau Day (don't forget the pineapple)!! He stooped down, plucked one up, and eyed it somewhat warily.

<< Sounds very Mark-ish. >>

You've got that right...bloody hell.

Dropping the paper, he kept moving. Alone up here, it felt rather tense, but Gale pushed past that, keeping himself alert. He heard a faint noise coming from somewhere to the left, and his eyes dropped lower, catching sight of several red stains on the backs of some of the leaflets. He followed them along, eyes tracking each piece of paper, each red dot, until he reached the end - a slatted vent in the wall, the metal warped and bent as though something had hit it. A dark, sticky red liquid coated much of the front, pooling in a puddle beneath it, and sticking partially out from between the slats was -

- Gale made a sound of disgust low in his throat and backed away carefully.

Gross.

Quote:
76 - 100: You follow a trail of papers to a vent. A vent that is dripping blood, dark blood, steadily. A hand is sticking out of it. It really isn't worth investigating further as you can pretty much tell what happened here.

Floor 5 - FLEEING 3

And suddenly they were up to their nipples in zombies. Wonderful. And there wasn't enough room to swing a cat let alone an enormous axe, especially not with Allan looking particularly human and too much of a ******** risk to let get maimed here.

"ITS NO ******** LUNCHTIME YET."
he yelled at the encroaching hoard as they made towards the exit.

It was a cruel irony in a world where he hadn't even had ******** breakfast.

This was almost as bad as the actual Sahara had been, though not quite. Gale wondered if it was even possible to be able to have anything connected with that damn place and have it be positive, but in the end decided that it was impossible.

He made his way carefully and quietly around the offices, peering through the windows of each one, but not opening any of the doors just yet. It was bad enough that there were undead things inside of the rooms, but Gale wasn't certain he was ready to actually face one just yet.

The next paper he picked up said something about relocating, but other than that seemed relatively unhelpful.

"C'mon! We can do this we can do this!!" Jerry fell back to help Jordan with Allen, slinging one of the not-their-lead's arms over his shoulder to haul him toward the stairs quicker while Rep held them off. His chant continued, dipping in volume in his panic as though it was for himself more than anyone else.

He kept walking and found the same piece of paper again - and again, Gale read it, analyzed it momentarily, and then dropped it down back to the floor, deciding once more that it wasn't of any use at all.
