 William • Yates William looked at Skye confused. "Something wrong?" he asked her. Nick looked shocked at her shocked expression. "Hey! Are you not happy? We are to be married in a two month time! Your father said so." he said happily. [OOC: You know... I wouldn't mind you adding a bit more of detail of what is going on in the rp... emotion_yatta ]

~Skye Walker~ Skye realized that she obviously looked shocked to them. "N-no, it's not that. I-it's just that I'm surprised. I-I was wondering what my father's meeting was about. I-I guess now I know, right? He kept making me more curious about things like he always does. Actually... I was wondering when my father would do something like this," she said, smiling to both of them. She didn't want to make them worried about her, especially since they were her best friends. She liked Nick, but not so much that she'd want to marry him.((ok smile ))

William • Yates William didn't know what else to say. Unknowingly to himself, he felt disappointed at the news, but he also wanted to feel happy about it. What was it to him, right? He was dead, and Nick and Skye were his friends, right? Nothing to over think. With the best smile he could afford, he smiled at them both. "Congratulations. I wish you a happy marriage." he told them. Nick smiled and hugged his friend. "Thank you Will! I wish you were alive so you could be my best man." he told him. "I'll try to marry the last Thursday so you can be present." he said with a smile. [OOC: Idea! I'll pm you.]

~Skye Walker~ Skye felt pained that William just agreed with it. But she could understand why. He was dead, after all, and he couldn't really do anything about it. She giggled at their little brotherly goofy moment together. She wondered why she wanted to go against her father's wishes.((ok. smile ))

William • Yates "Well, it's gonna get late pretty soon and it will be time for me to leave. Have a nice engagement day?" he didn't know what to say. He then left to hide since he didn't want either of them to see him go through that painful death again so he could be ghost.
Nick looked at Skye. "Oh well, let us head back home, malady."

~Skye Walker~ Skye put on her best fake smile for Nick. "Yes," she said nodding. She felt horrible that William had to go through his same death over and over each month and every time he turned human. She walked with Nick back to her home where she knew she was going to be told the same news.

William • Yates Although it was already late, William was not turning back into a ghost. Of course this was making him feel even more bewildered. "Huh? Why am I not dying again?" he asked himself as he waited under the tree by his tomb. He looked up the sky and observed the full moon. A heavy weight was all he felt before he fell unconscious to the ground.
Meanwhile at the manor, Skye's father was waiting for her to tell her the "exciting" news about her engagement.

~Skye Walker~ Skye got home and saw her father excited about something. She assumed it was the engagement he was excited about, but didn't say anything to ruin his mood. "Good evening, father. You seem very happy today," she told him.

Skye's father embraced his daughter before speaking. "Oh daughter of mine! Good news! You ought to be married to a young and brave knight! In fact, it is the man next to you. Sir Nick and you shall be wed by next May. Are you not overjoyed by the news?" the man was as happy as he could be. "You would have been wed before if the man I had in mind for you had not passed away earlier last year. He had been a rising star in the military as well. However, Nick is just as good and he has good intentions with you." Skye's father had been talking about William...

~Skye Walker~ Skye realized he must have been talking about William, but smiled her convincing fake smile. "Of course I'm happy, father. Especially since I am good friends with Nick," she said. She already felt really heartbroken and excused herself to go to her room. She sat on her bed and looked out her window, feeling really sad.

William • Yates William woke up soon and expected to be awoken as a ghost, but not. He was wrong. "It's cold tonight... he said then realizing he was still human. "I... I'm still human... " his stomach growled and he began shivering. He had no shelter for the cold chilly and windy night. What was he to do. The first thing that came to his mind was to go visit Skye. So, quietly in the night, he walked to the manor in which she lived and began throwing rocks at her window hoping she was still awake.

~Skye Walker~ Skye jumped a little when she heard something hit by her window and walked towards it. She saw William throwing rocks to her window and smiled at the sight of him. "What are you doing here so late? I thought you would have turned to a ghost by now," she told him, keeping her voice low so that her family hear her. She was really glad to see him visit her, though, since he would always make her smile when her mood was down.

William • Yates "That is exactly why I came here. I do not know what happened but I remained human. Do you think I might be able to sleep by the stables tonight? I have nowhere to sleep and 'tis cold tonight." he ketp shivering.

~Skye Walker~ Skye giggled at William and looked around then back at him. "Ok then. But it is quite strange that you haven't changed to ghost yet," she said and sneaked out of her house without being caught and met up with him outside. "Follow me and do not let anyone notice you are here."

William • Yates "Thank you." he said smiling brightly at her. he was still shivering but he felt it was wrong to ask more since she had already given him shelter for tonight. "Maybe by tomorrow I'll be a ghost. Either way, thank you. I shall remain quiet and leave if needed. Were you asleep?" he said as he followed her to the stables. It was a quiet area and sort of warm with all the animals there. Sure, the smell wasn't that pleasant but beggars couldn't be choosers.
