"I am not afraid of any p***y." Joachim stated in a rather blunt manner, but after a few minutes of thinking what he said his face started to change to an unusual shade of cherry red. He had completely walked into that without even thinking about the possibility of his words getting twisted later.
"I just hate cats. They are the third most disgusting creature ever." He replied with a frown on his face, roaches/bugs being first and rats being second.
Emily watched the rat go flying, eyebrows raised in surprise. She ignored the way the drumsticks twitched in her pocket, the transformation still had time left, and Mr. Monty would definitely have some uh...anger issues, once he was fully mobile again. She'd probably have to keep her stuff in plastic bags for a day or two, because her familiar did joke around when it came to poop threats.
She didn't argue at the cats being disgusting comment.

Indu had been sitting on the arm of a chair, the only free place she could find without aggressively moving someone else out first. Frowning at her strip of paper, she furrowed her brows in thought. This was going to matter. This was defining what the identity of her faction would be in the most prestigious school in Halloween, like, forever!!! Wow.
Her ears perked up as she heard one motto and spun around to face the direction it came from, one hand flailing madly in agreement at the girl who suggested it. "Oooh!! I like that! We reap what we sow! That's super creepy!! Yeah, I vote for that one!"

Enzo had gone back to pondering, his face scrunched up in concentration. "I GOT IT!" Once again, he shouted out, but this time he clumsily attempted to use his phone to find an appropriate illustration.
"A Grim riding a motorcycle. NO ONE will ******** with us with something like that, yeah, yeah?"
(click spoiler for illustration(s))
"It'd make great T-shirt sales!"

Ruth did not agree and made this known by rocking her hand with the palm down and blowing a raspberry. An audible raspberry. Had anyone known the ghoul prior to this moment, this was monumental because up until this point, the cap-wearing ghoul had never voluntarily made a sound at the academy since she was enrolled.
The boil probably deserved some form of applause for this feat.
"Not bad Enzo," Joachim replied as he ignored the cackling noise he had made earlier. "The only problem I see is whatever colors we end up with. I mean let's face it a grim reaper on a motorcycle with really girly colors won't really look badass..." Joachim replied thinking of a grim reaper in pink or purples, or even in some sort of seafoam green wouldn't really be terrifying to anyone.

"Like hell I'd agree with girly colors anyways," Enzo wove a dismissive hand at Joachim, and not comprehending feat that was that raspberry, ignored it as well.
It was about here that Mort piped up, clearing his throat again. "Have good discussion going, so don't mean to interrupt. M'only giving you second update, as seems we have ties on a few things . . ." The last several votes had brought up an interesting decision. After scrawling down a few more things, he turned the page for all to see before gesturing to Freya and Sparrow to come break the tie.

Seconded Mottos
While the meeting is still technically open to new ideas, it's now is the time to formally vote for your motto! Please bold red your choice in your post! The following have been supported by at least one other person:
We Are Not As We Seem We Reap What We Sow
Trending Mascots
You may still discuss mascots, or you may vote on what's been popular! Please post choices in bold blue! (( If I missed any that have been discussed by multiple people, please let me know! ))
Freya climbed out of Kettil's arms after kissing his cheek, and toddled over to look at all the options they were being given. This would be simpler than she'd thought!
"Well, if yehr goings with black, then yeh has teh goes black and blue, because duh, that's how hard we hit." She punched Sparrow in the shoulder and grinned. "And I thinks a reaper and scythe is the most traditional look for a reaper, so it makes sense teh be our mascot. Right?"
She looked at the two mottos, and her nose crunched up in thought. "I guess.. if I has teh choose.. I says the second one. Reaping what we sow. 'Cause let's be honest, some of us are definitely what we seem."
Sparrow had been standing in the back for the majority of the meeting so far, merely watching and observing than participating. He still felt rather unsure of himself, especially considering he didn't know anyone who was here, not really. He knew of Freya, that she was the other RA, and he gave her a small smile as she approached him.
A small smile that turned into a wince as she punched his shoulder, Sparrow stumbling just a little. He gave the ghoul an amused sort of curious look, and then said lightly, "I agree with black and blue - and with the motto, and with the mascot, so I defer to your good judgement on this particular ruling."

Circe wasn't sure if she agreed with Pickworth but she understood the logic. Well maybe she agreed a little but if they were going for the typical reaper look then Pickworth would be right. However, Reapers as a whole weren't really. "Hmm... Maybe." Circe decided to think about what the fellow reaper said a little more later on. The ghoul smiled. "Looks like we only have two idea's to choose from so far for the motto's. And one is yours!" Circe said excitedly to the boil with the accent.
Circe quickly cast her vote for a motto and it wasn't too hard to guess that she would pick We Are Not As We Seem. The other motto was a good one too though. Being as indecisive as she was though it was good to not think about the other option or else she'd be there until after the meeting ended trying to decide.
"What do you two think about the mascot options?" WHY WERE THERE SO MANY OPTIONS?

Since it was very difficult not to pout everywhere, the witch instead took to uncurling and curling a lock of hair. That kept her quiet and busy and not giving sad puppy dog eyes to various people in attempt for pity. It would be rude to flounce off without seeing the meeting until the end, mostly for seniority reasons, so she sat around just idly messing with that one lock of hair until Mort spoke up again. Oh! More voting! That meant the meeting was almost over yaaaaaaay!
With a mild clearing of her throat, as though her opinion was wildly important and everyone should hear it, she sat up to flap a hand. "What lovely choices everyone has come up with! It is awfully difficult to choose just one, but hmmmm. For the motto I think We Reap What We Sow is very nice." Even if she'd have preferred something more dramatic. A finger came up to tap her chin a moment later. "For the mascot I think something traditional is best. A traditional Reaper with a scythe sounds best to me." With her choices made she gave a small smile and wiggled a little, hoping she could leave now kthx.

Emily beamed brightly at Indu, giving the ghoul a fierce thumbs up, but was soon distracted by images of reapers riding motorcycles. Oh jack! Eyes growing wide and shiny, the witch was mesmerized, there was just something so...cool and...and...dare she say? Hardcore. The were badass in a way that she had always admired, and...admittedly, wanted for herself. Just a little. Even if it was just her pinkie finger. But Emily Device was a witch who couldn't even ride a broom, for Jack's sake. If she rode a motorcycle, it would crash 100%. The only question would be what matter of tragedy would take place.
Probably something ridiculous.
She gave the thought one last, wistful sigh, and turned her attention back to the meeting at hand. "A-a reaper with a scythe is probably more practical." More boring. "A-and um, I'm going to stick with We Reap What We Sow." And what exactly is one Emily Device sowing here at Amity? Fat lot of failure apparently.
As the witch's mood began to turn inward and dark, the patterned drumsticks shifted and twisted until Mr. Monty dropped to the floor, once again a cat of terrible temper.
"Traitor," he hissed up at her, squinting in displeasure. "You aren't even a grim."
Myr still wasn't sure about the mascot, but he did know which motto that he wanted to vote for. He wouldn't object if the other one won, but he did prefer We Are Not As We Seem. He just felt as if it fit them better. Sure, the other one was about reaping, but it just felt a little too cliche. Especially if they ended up using a grim reaper as their mascot.
