Iniko laughed a bit. "And they call us the lovers. I wonder if they even realize one of them is always following the other." He smiled when she wrapped her arms around him, turning and using his hand to lovingly tilt her face up. There was no better moment, and it was time they stopped dancing around the issue. He closed his eyes and moved his mouth towards hers, slowly, hesitantly, giving her a chance to pull away if she wished it.
Wylie flinched at the first question, glancing away guiltily, which was as good as an answer. "I..." She brushed her hair back, much as he was, except her motion was an attempt to neaten her hair, not mess it up. "Since... Iniko ran off. Once or twice before by accident but..." She glanced down, feeling guilty, and curling into a little ball as she braced for him to blow up at her. "Iwould havetoldyou, butifyoudidn'twantmethere, youcouldblockmeout, andtheonlytime Ididn'thavehorriblenightmareswaswhenIwasinyourdreamsandIcouldn'trisk-" She closed her eyes and took a calming breath so that her voice slowed down. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I intruded and invaded your privacy like that. I'll never do it again.. please don't hate me..."

Nieve chuckled at his statement, and then he turned. This was fine, and then he lifted her face and she blushed. She blinked as he closed his eyes and moved closer, and her eyes fluttered shut. She closed the space between them, and her heart was racing. Was that normal? She felt her body warm up, then freeze all over again.
Jarlan watched her panic, and he sat next to her, pulling her in a shaky hug. "I wish you would have told me sooner, so this wouldn't have been so shocking and embarrassing." He took a breath and let out the words. "You can keep coming back to them, I don't really mind." He then leaned his head against hers. "I could never hate you."

Iniko felt a surge of adreniline at the victory of scoring the kiss, and leaned closer, kissing her deeply, with all the pent up emotion of having spent the years apart missing her every damn day.
Wylie jumped when he pulled her into a hug, for a split moment thinking he was about to hurt her. She peeked over at him, swallowing nervously, and smiling a slight, pained smile when he said she could keep coming back. "Really?" When he leaned his head against hers, she closed her eyes, amazed at the relief flooding through her. She leaned against him, planing relieved. "Thank you." A single tear slid down her face, and she just cuddled up against him, so relieved to have that weight lifted off her shoulders.

Nieve made a small noise of shock, but she was kissing him back. Her arms had moved on their own, and were resting on his shoulders, and one of her hands laid flat against his shoulder blade. The other hand had found his hair, and entangled itself in it. Her mind was blank for once, and her heart had sped up.
Jarlan smiled. "Yes really. I'm happy that you are there, you are happy there. Why would I destroy that?" He had one arm wrapped around her waist and he began to play with her hair with the other hand. He couldn't find words to say anything, so he glanced around at the wildflowers, and then up at the sky to the clouds.

Iniko felt her hand rest on his back and her fingers slid through his hair, her cool touch only making him feel even hotter. His own hands went to her waist, holding on like he was never going to let go, and one had slid down to rest at her hip. His heart felt like it was going to burst from the pace it was beating at.
Wylie sighed with relief again, smiling softly. "I'm glad." She blushed a bit when she felt his arm go around her waist and his hand in her hair, wondering when the mood had shifted. Blinking, she glanced at him, noticed he was looking at the sky, and looked up herself, enjoying the calming blue vision.

Nieve shuddered softly, the hand on her hip sending shivers up her spine once more. She pulled him closer to her, if possible. She wondered if he could hear how fast her heart was beating, or feel it. That's when she pulled away softly, resting her forehead against his. She was breathing fast, and her face was flushed, but she wore a smile.
Jarlan looked down at her and smiled. "The clouds are pretty, aren't they?" He then glanced back at the sky, simply enjoying his time alone with Wylie. He kept glancing from her to the sky, and managed to get the words out. "Thank you, for finding our meadow."

"Well." Iniko cleared his throat after his attempt to speak, his face flushed and his hands remaining where they were. "I uh... that was even better than expected. Why did we wait so long to do that?"
Wylie nodded at his comment about pretty clouds, noticing but not commenting on his glances at her. When he thanked her, she smiled and laid down on the ground, her hair spreading out and mixing with the grass. "Absolutely. I stumbled upon it by accident, and had to show you. It was last night, before your dad helped me to sleep with that brandy." If she was being honest, she'd probably slept so deeply because Jarlan's comforting presence had been behind her.

Nieve cleared her throat softly, before glancing at him through her eyelashes. "We weren't in a position to before, then we had our games." She said softly, a smile still hanging on her lips. She brought her hand out of his hair, and laid it on top of her other hand, refusing to move away from him. She then brought her lips back to his. She wanted to start the kiss this time.
Jarlan smiled, and laid down himself, laying his head on his hands. "I still can't believe he put brandy in your tea," He shook his head disapprovingly. "But I'm glad it helped you sleep." He stared at the clouds, and looked to Wylie once more. "Do you think the younger ones are still asleep?" He didn't want them to freak out if neither of them were there.

Iniko shrugged a bit. "We're sneaky, we could've." He smiled at her, his hands rubbing on her hip ever so slightly. When she kissed him, he raised his hand to her hair, and kissed her back, slower this time, but just as passionate.
Wylie shrugged a bit. "He's a mountain man, it's what they do." She glanced over at him. "I think." When he commented on the younger ones being asleep, she chuckled. "Probably not with that yell of yours when you called for me to wait."

Nieve's eyes shut softly, and she was enjoy this very much. Her hand found itself in his hair again, and the other wrapped around his neck. She couldn't seem to think straight, then again with Iniko around she never thought straight.
Jarlan chuckled along with her and then sighed. "Yeah. I probably worried them, at least Nieve. We should check on them.. She might be worried that you ran of or something." He said sighing. He liked his time alone with Wylie, but he still felt like the big brother of the younger two, mostly Nieve for some reason, and he wanted to make sure they were alright.

Wylie glanced over at him, and then glanced at the sky. "If you're that worried, I'll peak into her imagination." She didn't mention how much it would drain her to do that from a distance. "I should be able to get a feel for what's going on." She closed her eyes, then sat straight up blushing. "She'sfine." Wylie cleared her throat. "Not worried about us at all."

Jarlan glanced at Wylie, noting the blush. He gave her a look and sat up. "Wylie. What is going on?" He asked, his voice serious. Uh-oh. Protective older brother mode. Beware and pick your words carefully Wylie. He sat up and looked at her, expecting an answer.

Wylie shrugged a bit. "I... Uh.. I'm sure they'll stop." She brushed her hair out of her face. "Give them a little while longer, Jarlan. We all knew this was coming." she glanced over at him. "And you know... no matter how protective we are of them... We aren't their older siblings."

Jarlan looked at her and blinked. What were they doing? He sighed. "I know I'm not their older brother, but still. I can't help feeling like I am. Then again, I want to be the best friend and tease them about whatever their doing." He sighed and fell back down on the grass. "I feel like since we got out, we split into groups. You and I, and the lovers." He glanced at her again.
Nieve cut this kiss short, and smiled. "I'm still worried about Jarlan and Wylie. He yelled after her this morning." Her stomach grumbled loudly and she flushed out of embarrassment. "I guess I'm hungry too." She said, a sheepish grin plastered on her face.

Wylie watched him, listening as he spoke, before glancing up at the sky. "Really? We've been all hanging out with each other pretty evenly." With the exception that she was spending more time alone than with anybody, but that was inevitable.
Iniko sighed a bit, shoving his hand through his hair. "Do we have to check on them?" He laughed when her stomach growled. "C'mon, let's find you something to eat." He pushed to his feet, holding onto her hand and dragging her behind him.
