Klinail ran and tackled the figure to the ground. Leaving a big dust cloud in the surrounding area as the rage in their heart completely override the grief they were supposed to be feeling. Actually, the grief might be fueling the anger.

They blotted out the horizon. He shuddered, his weapon rattling in his grip - no, no, he could not face them! He did not want to die! All around him his fellows stood, staring straight ahead, still and stuff at attention as if they were already dead, dead and propped up to wait for final judgement. It was distracting, the laughter. It came barreling towards her and hit her once again. Mel'ae blinked and fell to her knees, the powerful memory swirling in her head. She felt herself fade away and reappear elsewhere.
Every bit of what had just happened left her mind and she blinked, looking at her hands and back down at the platforms.
"Huh."
She would stand there for a while just to try to have some sort of grasp of what was going on in this area. She shook her head a few times and sighed, turning and leaving the way she came from. Maybe she'd find somewhere else to be.
