[Biroki: Heading off to his fight with Oulixes, will return soon enough. Just getting the timeline synched]
Biroki nervously returned to the stall.
"The staffs... uh... They d-don't exactly... work. yet." he said, not wanting to offend her, "I-I mean, they are n-nice and all, just... uh..." he trailed off as his match was announced.
"Uh..." He put the staves behind the stall hastily, "I'll be back, I gotta go.." he waved to Rastian, "S-see you later!" he called out as he left.

[Ruelash: at Dyakida's stall]
Ruelash gave the Biroki a look of utter disgust before completely ignoring him for the more interesting halfbreed man and the Alkidike. He was actually a little overwhelmed by all the awesome sharp stuff. So much... stuff!
"Wait, ya know Winta?!" he was horribly, terribly, honestly shocked. How could someone else know Winta? It was like reality was tearing at the seams.
But then he got over it. Sort of.
"Huh." he wasn't sure how significant that actually was. Sort of significant? Maybe?
"Well, uh, a Slingshot. Maybe." he had always wanted one. It wasn't deadly, but he liked being able to throw things, and a slingshot was an extension of that. He had once beaten a kid up over it. He'd won. He hadn't gotten the slingshot because the kids older brother had taken him aside and fought him. He had lost that fight. "Can ya make that? After my next fight, maybe?"
Also, why wasn't she looking at him when she talked? It was kinda weird...

[Dyakida: At her stall]
"And you too, Rastian!" it helped that there would be someone who knew of her disability there. That way she could get their help without admitting it to strangers. She knew that it was a terrible habit to try to keep it a secret, a habit that only got her in trouble. But she had too much pride and she knew it.
She nodded in Biroki's direction, inwardly wincing at every stammer and wimper, and also the implication that her staffs had... done something. Well, what had she been expecting from her first few attempts?
She waved a distracted goodbye towards him and frowned in Ruelash's general direction. "A... Slingshot..." How interesting. And simple. Did she have some soft leather back here? And maybe some cheap wood? "Possibly?" She would have to check. "As for you..." she turned back to Rastian, "What sort of weapon did you have in mind?"

[Kaalnia: Buying a Menk!!!]
"They are... All really pretty!" she said, looking unhappily at her money. Too much spent on cool things and food before the battle. Now she only had enough, she realized, for one.
"But I can't have two like your sister..." she gave Aminah a wave, "I have to pick, so..." she nodded decisively.
"That one." she bought a red and green menk and stared at it for a moment.
"They're really cute, aren't they?" she said, feeling a lot better just looking at the little thing swim around. She smiled, a decent and honest attempt, at Sathe.
"If your big sister has two, and you have one, does that mean you have three?" Talking about menks. This was helping. A lot.
Mainly because there was cuteness everywhere and, while normally Kaalnia didn't go for girly cute things herself, she had just had a really terrifying bout. She could treat herself to something cute, and that included talking to cute little shifter? children.

[Peyla: Hatching Plots!]
[He really should!] re-agreed Peyla, glaring at the man, [I bet he can't! We should do it for him!] and keep some for themselves, that was a given.

But then the topic turned off of shinies to something boring like... wait, she knew that name!
[Is he the short twoleg not-alkidike with really pretty eyes?] she asked, curious, [Do you need to find him? Do you think he can help get the Shinies from the man?]

Ime beamed, glad that her new friend agreed. Some people took offense when she asked questions like that, but she'd found it was mostly people who weren't mixed-race. In fact, some people in the settlement didn't like her because of her heritage, but that was dumb.

"No, yeah!" she agreed, nodding happily and then finishing the last good chomp of her bun, "Then everyone would look the same, and how would you know who was who? I like my mama, I don't want anyone else to look like her, and I think we're pretty the way we are, right? All the mixy- and not-mixy people."

She thought a moment, eyed her mother who was now watching casually (look, Mama, she'd made friends with a lady!), and then turned her eyes up to Kelina. Ime's mother seemed to be looking at Kelina as well, although in a more 'if she's bothering you, I can save you' fashion.

"Hey, Kel...Kelenia. What are you gonna be when you grow up?"

Yaholo, post two, coming back from his battle with Ruelash and this solo [x]
(Headed to where potions are sold)

Yaholo hustled eagerly back into The Fairgrounds area, his body still without healing. He kept one hand upon his forehead where what looked like a large bruise was laying and stopped short of the food stands. Where were the potions sold again? He still couldn't feel much of anything! Damn it! His other antenna may have been dead or dying, but losing the better half of his senses really freaking sucked! He couldn't remember anything!

He sighed and decided to sit down upon a grassy spot near an empty stand in order to regain his composure. Hopefully, someone he knew would spot him and help him figure things out again

Aysun post 7

Aysun turned to look at his brother for a moment, then back again, "Yep! Different colors though so that they don't get mixed up." He said with a smile, sure that their parents had been thinking ahead about that. It wouldn't be good for them to each have one only to accidently get them mixed up or something. That would be a shame since the Menk would end up rather confused by the switching of owners or so he believed. He could be really wrong but that was at least how he felt about it. He gave a smile at his Menk, looking up at Jerarda through the crystal clear water, passed the fish, and took in how the globe distorted her features. It was something that caused him to give a bit of a sputtering laughter before he realized that Chandra was hiding behind him again.

Turning to look at him he gave him a smile, "Come on, no reason to hide, Chandra. It will be alright." He said, lifting his hand up to pat him on the head the way that their father seemed to pat those that he was trying to communicate with. It was something that the shield barer did with most everyone but Uncle Tak, for whatever reason they didn't seem to talk too much, "It's alright, Uncle Tak and Momma will be back soon enough. Then Daddy and Uncle Jacin too!" He said in a reassuring manner, certain that when their matches were over they would stop by to say 'hello'.

"You're perfectly right!" Kelina didn't want anybody to look like her mother either! Her mother had definitely been one of a kind. That's when she noticed the little one was looking at a woman whom Kelina assumed was the youngling's mother who had that look. Kelina just smiled at her before turning back to Ime and her question. "I'm currently training to be an archer, but when I'm done training, I want to be a ranger. I really enjoy my bow and that's the reason I chose to start training for an archer." She wondered what class this little one would end up choosing when she grew up. Ime was definitely smart enough for anything she chose!

Ime noded, watched the glance shared with her mama, and then nodded back at Kelina.

"That's cool! I don't know what I like yet. Mama won't let me touch the knives because I'm little still," the youngling said seriously, and then looked back at the coliseum proper.

"Do you think they'll be done soon? I want to see the last fight! I wanna see who wins!"

'Mama' approached then, offering a hand out to Ime, who took it instinctively. Mama smiled to Kelina and nodded.

"I hope she wasn't a bother."

"Mama, we talked about things! I wasn't a bother!"

"Well, I'm sure you weren't," Mama replied to Ime, and then turned to Kelina, "Would you like to join us for the last battle? You did very well, if I may say so myself."

Lasarra (coming back from watching Rayolun's last battle)

Well she lost her first battle, but it was to Yaholo who not only was her friend but also had battle experience, so she didn't really feel all that bad. Kelina had lost as well, it seemed that the two of them were off to a rough start. At least they were both still prentiences. They would have time to practice together later on, she was sure of that.

Howe she stayed and watched Rayolun, who almost made it to the semi-finals! She couldn't believe he was so good at battling, and it really made him that more attractive in her eyes. Though she'd never tell him that.

Looking around she tried to spot either him, Kelina, or even Yaholo, but there was just so many people it was hard to find who she wanted to find!

Niadra

So she had lost, at least she had fun doing it. The girls she had battled seemed a little meek and out of place, but at least she was actually a fighter! Although it would have been nice to win, Niadra had never really expected to win. She had no experience in anything other then dancing. She had told Senja that she would dance with her after, and after seeing the healers it seemed she had lots of energy left in her.

"Oh Senja, where are you???" she called laughing as she walked around looking for her friends. She started dancing through the crowd, hoping to find her newest traveling friend that way.

Zuri (coming from her last battle)

She had made it to the third round, which was something to be proud of. She was also very proud of her husband who had beaten his first opponent and made it to the second round! She searched through the crowd for him when all of a sudden she felt sick. Putting a hand on her stomach she quickly made her way to the edge of the clearing where there weren't many people before she couldn't hold it anymore and started to throw up.

What was up with her? She knew she wasn't sick, however she had been throwing up more often now then ever before? Maybe she should go back to the healers, they had patched her all up from the battles, but maybe they could also see if anything was wrong with her that she didn't know about. But that would have to wait a while, but she wasn't sure if she was done throwing up and didn't want to move right away.

Ilyra

Ilyra was too ashamed to go back to Dyakida's stall just yet. She had lost, and to make matters worse she barely even was able to hit her opponent. When she was practicing she wasn't all that bad, but when it came to the real thing she sucked more then she was willing to admit. Then again, the man she had been facing was crazy. That had to count for something. From what she could tell her mother hadn't won her battle either, and neither had her aunt or the woman she had met in the stalls. That really sucked, and Ilyra didn't want to see any of the other battles. She was still to mad.

Where was her best friend when she needed her? Tahigwa was the only person who could cheer her up, and she had seen that her best friend had gone to the second round, but only after it was over. She was such a bad friend that she hadn't even known that Tahigwa was fighting so she didn't go to see her! She had to make it up to her, so Ilyra started searching for Tahigwa in hopes of finding her or her older brother Yaholo who she heard people saying won more then one of his battles. Maybe that family was just full of good fighters.

Walking around she spotted Yaholo sitting on the floor! She rushed over to him. "Yaholo why hadn't you gone to the healers!" she exclaimed worriedly, her anger at losing the battle gone already and replaced with worry for her best friends big brother.

Briella

So her battle hadn't gone all that well, but neither had her sisters or her daughters. That was fine. She would reassure Ilyra later that this was her first battle and that the girl would get better with time, she was sure that Ilyra wouldn't be happy with the loss. However her first concern was her sister.

Spotting Kaalnia she rushed over, and smiled at seeing Aminah and Sethe. "So we meet again." she said with a smile to Sathe. "Little sister how are you doing?" she asked as she put a hand on Kaalnia's arm with a soft smile. Even though the two of them hadn't lived together for a long time and weren't as close as they had been when they were children didn't mean that Briella didn't care for her younger sister.

Kelina smiled at the youngling, she was so full of energy and life it was refreshing. "There will be a time when you'll have all the time you want to play with knives or other weapons of your choosing. I do think the last fight should be starting soon though." Ime took her mother's hand once she approached. "She was a perfect angel." Kel said, complimenting Ime in how grownup and well mannered she was. "I do intend on watching the last battle, but I haven't seen my sister yet after her battle so I better go find out where she is. It was a pleasure to meet you, Ime." She said kindly, giving the girl one last warm smile. Her eyes scanned the crowd before landing on a familiar face. "Lasarra!" She shouted out into the crowd as she quickly paid for her food before walking towards where her sister was.

Yaholo, post three

Yaholo's silent prayers had been answered, someone had come to help him. He peered up towards Ilyra and tried to force a smile to his face. Wow, Ilyra had grown up so fast, just like Tahigwa and Pahana had... Why was time such an a*****e to him? Honestly, he wished it would stop moving. He shifted his legs upon the ground while keeping his hand above the dark spot on his head. Maybe he should have stopped at the healers...

"I'm looking for the potions tent..." He explained. "I... I heard there was a potion that could change your eye color... I want my eyes to be black, like my mother's and sister's." He sighed and moved his hand from it's spot on his forehead to show her his empty forehead. "But I can't find my way without my antenna..."
