Litaria smiled at Azlok, then blushed as Ezarix acknowledged her role in taking out the ettin. "It was lucky," she said. "The spell was a lot more effective than I expected." To hide her sudden awkwardness, she began moving towards the fallen ettin and follow Ezarix's example, only for her injuries to remind her painfully of their existence. She winced and stopped moving.
"Hey, Azlok," she called to the dwarven cleric. "Do you have enough energy left for a small healing spell?"

Azlok gritted his teeth at the greed of these people, defiling the dead for their own personal gain. But he held his tongue. If this is how people acted outside the mountain home of dwarves, he would have to become accustomed to it, like it or not. He took a deep breath and looked inside himself, finding that killing the enemies had produced an extra spark of magic. He took it slow, calling upon the holy might of Hrolfnir once more. Heal these mortals, though they know not what they do, Let them see, what they could be, let your light shine through Me your holy tool, the one you hand picked, and chosen. It was only by you that my gifts were given, not any personal cozen. Let them feel, the warmth of your light, let them see you through me, Hear your son, your student, your faithful prodigy, He thought with eyes closed. Breathing slow and deep.
Action: Cast Cure Moderate Wounds on Litaria and Cure Minor Wounds on Ezarix. Faint if needed. If I can't Cure Moderate Wounds, cast two Cure Light Wounds. One on each.

Drin moves in closer to the group that overwhelmed the enemy. Yet carefully taking his steps. Busy, busy eyes under the hood that scanned that area around him. If there was something on the ground or anything hidden about, maybe he was the man to find it. As he searched around his mind was constantly on how fast he can pull a blade if needed. These guys may be rabid dogs, now unleashed. So one could not be too careful.
Action: Search ground for anything out of it's place.

Azlok felt his strength giving out and fell to his knees after the release of holy power through him. He opened his eyes and breathed slowly, trying to catch his breath. He needed to give the magic a rest. He slowly stood up, his body feeling like it was fighting chains, then made his way towards the Captain. "Aye! Captain, what can we do-," he started before falling to one knee again. "Do to help?" he asked, trying to keep his focus and fighting the fatigue with all his might. His eyes still burned with a flame. He would not back down easily.

Averah surveyed the small village, her eyes roving over the throng of people near the town square. Aside from the colored cloaks that were scattered through the crowd, not much was different from any other nearby towns. Seems like this town has seen it's share of troubles... She smiled briefly at a young child who bumped into her as he ran past, before looking up once more at the crowd. She watched them for a minute or so, before looking for what she would know to be the tavern. There was always information to be gained there, and was usually the best starting point.
Action: Seek out the Tavern

The first thing he pulled off the goblin was the pouch of gold. It would come in handy. The obvious thing was the club. He had no use for it but it might be useful. Possibly for sales. However it's the third item he found that caught his interest the most. An Amulet. He'd never seen one like this and wasn't quite sure what it does. He'd have to bring it somewhere.
With that out of the way, he decided to make his way to the captain. "I heard you were in need of assistance so I decided to present myself."
Action: Meet with captain.

((Apologies! I am here and reading posts daily but my schedule is so hectic ;^_^))
Azlok, Litaria & Ezarix
The broad-shouldered baron of the seas looks upon you with concern and genuine appreciation.
"My friends, you have done a great thing by aiding us during this struggle, but I highly suggest you get some rest first. I'll send for someone to instruct the innkeeper at the Drunken Sailor to ensure your stay is compensated for you and your allies. Come find me again once you have rested, I need to investigate something while the townsfolk repair the walls."
Averah
You arrive at the humble establishment with the placard reading The Drunken Sailor Tavern. Upon entering, you discover several injured men and women lying in cots against the walls, while others sit on the stools throughout the bar, drinking their troubles away as well as half-heartedly celebrating their latest victory.
The bartender and the waitress seem overly taxed, but you believe you might be able to get their attention if you flag them down.

Azlok, who had come to a wobbly stand during The Captain's speech, nodded in understanding. "Thank yeh, sir," he replied, feeling his limp noodle legs want to get to a bed or chair as soon as they could. He awaited the Elf's and Human's response.
Action: Stand there and converse.

Though he wasn't all that tired, it wouldn't hurt to take a little break. With the mention of the Drunken Sailor, he remembered the woman's request about her home.
"Excuse me captain, I just remembered something that might be of interest. See, I heard rumor of a cottage not far from town that may be a staging area for these goblins. They're most likely retreating to that location to recover and gather up their resolve for another attack. It may be wise to move in after we take a minor rest, else they might strike this town again with equal force before you've had a chance to fully rebuild your defenses. It would be a good idea to send a small scouting party of two men to check the legitimacy of the rumors."
Action: Propose sending a scout to minor quest location.

Drin moved in closer to the heroes of the day, while finding nothing of interest about these ugly corpses and their tools of death. Nothing that had any real value or would get him a drink. Not a single one had some fancy stones or a stash of gold. It truly was an annoyance to him. To be in the need of using how own coin for food and shelter was a setback. So Drin moved so close that he could hear the captain but remained near other soldiers not to try and hide but not to be a pillar in the sun. Then he would choose when to best meet up with this group. There was a tavern name given and that could be a good place. Then the suggestion of a scout was picked up. Would that be, then Drin would volunteer.
Action: Not looking out of place

Averah's nose crinkled slightly as she weathered the wall of blood and sweat that rolled out of the doorway. She advanced through the doorway, her eyes piercing the smoke in the room as she took in her surroundings. The first thing she noticed was the overturned tables off to her right that separated the numerous injured from the rest. She bowed her head silently in respect before looking over the rest of the tavern.
Aside from the injured, there wasn't really any difference between this tavern and the next. She wound her way through the tables on her way to the barkeep. She gave him a curt nod, "I'll grab whatever it is you have. And would you have anything to eat?"
Action: Speak with the Barkeep

Litaria heard Ezarix's request and suddenly remembered the reason they had come in the first place. "I heard that rumor too, sir," she piped up, hoping to help their case. "Perhaps once we've had a rest, we could go check it out for you?" She indicated herself, Ezarix, and Azlok. It seemed logical to try to have the three of them go together, since they'd learned a bit about how to work together with each other.
Action: Help Ezarix convince the captain.
