Stormy snorted and rolled her eyes at Shadows warning about stepping on the softer patches of dirt and mumbled "I know where to step I have hunted before."

Kurogane licked his chops. He wasn't one to hunt in the traditional way he know wolves did however he would make an exception just to see if he could learn more about Shadow. He followed his orders, walking lightly also. The prey that they stocked looked so tasty, and Kurogane knew he could eat the whole thing by himself, but had to push the thought aside. He was with other wolves now and could not afford to be greedy. "When do we attack, 'leader'?" he asked in a hush much slightly mocking tone.

Shadow laughed and said in a playful tone "That depends how fast are you and how low can you stay?" He took off after that even for a wolf his size he was quick and stealthy making little more than a slight movement of dirt getting closer to his desired target.

Stormy spoke up and said "I am a fast runner, and I have nowhere to be anytime soon that I know of so I can stay a little while."

Kurogane's strength was his stealth. He knew it probably better than anyone. However their was a lack of adequate shadows for him to inhabit. So his trademark technique would not be efficient enough. He crouched low sneaking along side Shadow watching him, analyzing him, for any hint of a profound strength or flaw. "Glad you can stay with us because this kill will be worth the while wait," Kuro assured as he licked his muzzle of the drool that threatened to spill. "On your signal, 'leader'."

Stormy also hunkered down in attack position "I am ready."

As soo as the buck lowered its head Shadow smiled as the two beside im were hunkered down and said quick but loud enough for them to hear, "Now!" He took off like a bullet and barely made a sound.

Kurogane followed up in the rear. He know he could incapacitate the buck if he took hold of its neck. No big deal. However, if he was not careful, Kuro could end up causing injuries to one of the others. "I have the neck!" he bark quietly as he jumped into his shadow and flanked the buck jumping out with claws ready to dig into the prey.

"Good Kurogane Stormy you have an important role as well Im gonna take its legs out as soon as I do Tear into its stomach and Kurogane hold on as long as you can, GO!" He took out the bucks legs holding down its hind legs knowing they were the most dangerous in death throws.

Stormy lounged at the buck stomach at Shadows word but timed it a second to late one of the bucks back legs hit Stormy in the jaw in a desperate attempt to get free but Stormy had a death grip on the deer and didn't let go

Shadow had seen it but saw as she latched on with everything she had "She has courage no doubt and is tough." He thought to himself as the buck died and Shadow helped Stormy up and patted Kuroganes back. "Good work you too Kurogane could you take Stormy back I'll be behind you I just need to make a stop to the river."

He sneered his words. "You are not my superior, however I will honor your request because Stormy needs assistance." He hurried over to Stormy and knelt down beside her nuzzling her. He was genuinely considered for her and the feeling was foreign to him. "A-Are you okay... Stormy?" He did not realize he still had blood on his muzzle and claws.

Stormy shook he headed to clear her thoughts and said "I am fine a little sore but I will be fine in time." Stormy grinned at Kurogane and said "At least we got The buck."

Shadow smiled and carried the buck on his back "Yes and the kill goes to both of you brilliant work." He was genuinely impressed by them and sighed softly at Kuroganes words for some reason He just was disliked by this male but he didnt let it detour him from who he was. "I dont wish to be anyones superior Kurogane I said it so you wouldnt have to wait on me." He laughed softly, "Now I'm taking your lead show the way fearless one."
