*Shortstraw blinked, "then... maybe we will have to just look for somthing to intrest you. Like a hobby or somthing..." he quickly held up his hands, "not skinning people though, deffently not that." He chukkled as he sat next to her and looked down at her, "though i guess your right. Things must be really boaring for you when your the top notch." He shrugged, "so in your spare time lets find you a hobby." He smiled, "My hobby is writing my book." 'i will need to talk to you later about the kids... i think it's possable the connection we share may have transfered... as odd as that my be... if i'm right there might be problems.' "Besides i though annying keria was everyones hobby." He teased as he smerked and looked to find out what the magizain was about... he susspect weapons, or dresses, or somthing girly.

Evelyn was reading a geological magazine. "Yeah well.. Good luck with that. I didn't have any hobbies other than the obvious ones in my human life, either. I'm not even supposes to have hobbies." She shut the magazine and tossed it aside as she put her arm over her eyes. "I'm supposed to thrive in chaos and mayhem." She grinned. "And annoying Kiera is too easy these days." Kiera frowned a little. "I'll just be going, then.." Kiera turned and left the room as Evelyn sighed. "See, I don't even have social skills. Its hopeless."
"But please..." Evelin sobbed at Kyle. Kyle really couldn't refuse that face, but he had to be stubborn. "I'm sorry, Evelin. I don't want to disappoint you but I'm trying to suppress it." Evelin looked up to him with her large eyes. "You don't want it?" Kyle smiled a little and shook his head as he stroked her head. "No, its not that at all." Evelin smiled. "I wanna be fire girl too!" Kyle smiled. "Why is that?" She grinned. "To be strong!" Kyle hugged her. "There are other ways to be strong, Evelin." Cale watched them both curiously from around the door. Why did Kyle like the twins so much if it wasn't because they were his age?

*Shortstraw shied, "come on i'm sure we can find somthing for you to do on your spare time. Try a few things, somtimes the simplest things are what end up being the best too. Some paint, some draw, some build little crafts. Hell i've seen someone who used to make little replica houses out of small supplize like popsickle sticks and make them look perfict in the end." He smiled, "though i dought you have pasaints with that, sometimes it's easyer on some things then others." He spoke in a lighter tone, "am i really that borning now?"

Evelyn nodded. "Yup." She scratched her head. "I don't blame you. You've become a family man, I'm not used to this kind of lifestyle." She yawned. "Jeez, I can't imagine myself knitting or sewing or whatever. Bloody hell that sounds tedious." She looked up at the ceiling. "I used to be able to play all kinds of instruments. My mother taught me when I was very young. Although in those times girls were expected to be able to do everything from academics to cooking. I was terrible at cooking and sewing. But I actually did well in fine things like music and art."
Evelin looked back to Kyle. "But I won't be strong if I'm not." Kyle smiled. "Just because your family are a certain way and that makes them strong doesn't mean it's the only way. Everyone has their own strengths." Evelin nodded as she looked down. "But.. I don't have anything." Kyle laughed a little. "You're only young. You still have to find out what you've capable of. You've already shown that you can teleport with ease, that's a hard thing to master in itself. I'm sure there's many things waiting for you and your brother."

*Shortstraw shied, "i have become a familiy man. And keria a family girl now too it seems. But i geuss when knowin gyou have 4000 years of life or so to go, we just wanted to try this and see what it's like. And frankly when i started feeding your souls i didn't know you were getting stronger so... figured that would always keep you acuppide too. Music though... i can't see it." He laughed, "i cant seem to picture you having a musical rythem." He nudged her, "what wa your farvet insterment?"

Evelyn sighed as she remembered. "I didn't really favour anything. But I guess if I had to choose it'd be violin. Then piano close behind. Those were the two that mother made me practice the most. They were both 'true signs of a woman's femininity and gait'." She rolled her eyes. "Delusional b***h." She grinned. "Although believe it or not, I was often praised for my musical talents. My parents took me over other people's mansions just to brag and show them how great I was." She shut her eyes.
"Being strong isn't about the power you have, you know." Evelin smiled. "Uncle Dante." Kyle turned his head. "Oh, I didn't see you standing there." Cale was long gone, Dante took his place. "Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude or anything." Hana passed through the room perkily. "Later losers, I'm going out~" Dante scowled at her. "Where?" Hana grinned and stuck her tongue out at him. "Just out." She left the room and out the front door. Dante frowned a little. "I seriously don't understand why she's like that." Kyle smiled. "Sometimes we can't control the way people are, it's something that stays."

*Shortstraw nodded, "okay... the violin i can see that with you. You do look like a violinest... sorta." He chukkled and gave her a hug, "well i'm not sure about going about the house playing laud tunes, but i think you should try to find a habby. Even if you dont, at least try." He smiled and released, "who knows it could be somthing to share or talk about from time to time instead of our usarl." He kissed her cheek, "and it will keep the kitty intertained." He then looked to theador, "i noticed theador was near you under the bed earlyer. That close it must not have been easy for him... but it was good for him." He smiled, "i think he still likes you from before, he's just afrade becuse now he can feel your pressents." He rose a finger, "which reminds me. If any of them carry a peice of soul, like mine connected to you, it's possable one of the kids might have a connection too. So be carful and if you start to feel any connection, i'm sure you will first, let me know."

Evelyn nodded. "Sure boss." She shifted into a cat and curled up into a ball. "For now though I'm going to have a nap." She flicked her tail around her. "And don't get too excited, I won't be entertaining you all with my spectacular skills on an instrument any time soon. That was many many years ago." She shut her eyes again. "A distant past which I keep trying to forget."
Dante pulled a face. "Who tells you this stuff, Kyle? 'Cause your dad doesn't exactly seem like a philosophical guy." Kyle looked away. "I read a lot. My father keeps lots of books with him when we travel. So when I'm bored I read. My father is often in meetings so I'm bored a lot." Dante grinned. "Then it's good to have you here every once in a while. You can do what you want here." Kyle sighed. "Yeah." He lied as he hugged Evelin in his lap. Seemed like she was falling asleep or already was. She looked so cute when she was sleeping.

*Shortstraw lightly pet evelyn for a little while, "it's still just as important. Sleep well my kitty." He then patted her head lightly and got up with a strech. He headed out the door to find evelin asleep in kyles arms, "awwww..." he took a picture with his secrite camra which he had on his at all times. "Thats a memory to never forget." he chukkled, and winked to donte as he headed over to the office, to look for keria, "ello?"

Kiera sat in the main office chair with some papers in her hand however she was slumped and her eyes were closed. Seemed she had drifted off, too. Kiera was being overworked for the last few months. Looking after the kids on top of kingdom duties was a little too much. She was diligent however and wouldn't let anyone think that she was faltering. She said she was fine, she'd just have to work a little harder. Exhaustion was the consequences, and now she was asleep in her chair.
"Awh.. look at her." Dante smiled to Kyle and Evelin. Kyle nodded. "Little ones feel an extreme sense of comfort when people stroke their heads. Like the sensation that animals get when people pet them. Evelin must have felt really relaxed and fell asleep." Dante stared at Kyle for a second before putting his hands in his pockets. "Hey Kyle.. are you okay living with your dad as you are? Travelling from place to place isn't exactly the best for a kid." Kyle didn't show contempt to the idea nor happiness. "It's just how it is. I don't mind. Father is the leader of a country. He has things he needs to do."

*Shortstraw smiled and walked over to keria. He sat down in his chair and took some of the papers. He was no leader... but he would try his best for her. he begain to work, reading and looking through things... and ever now and again looking to his sleeping wife and smiled to give him more motivation. He was proud of keria for everything she turned around in the matter of a month even. Things now really took a turn.

Shortstraw would have eventually come across a letter in Kiera's mail. It was in official print, so that way it was easy to tell it was from the leader of another country. The envelope was sealed with the crest symbol of that kingdom, and gave off a spicy scent upon opening. It was in educated handwriting although it was written unusually informally. It read; 'Dearest princess, I'm still considering your acquisition. However is this really wise with the current state of the kingdoms? I understand your intentions to bring them all together in a time of friction, however maybe your ideals might not be of the proper course of action for the moment. However, if you do so wish to carry out with the invitations and guest list, I shall aid you in any manner I can. My advisor was rather against the matter, although I shall try my best to convince him and the other kingdoms otherwise. Yours faithfully, Bryce Grande.' At the end there was another print of their crest.
"That doesn't mean you have to do what your dad does." Kyle looked to Dante with genuine confusion. Like it was a whole new idea to him. "Why not?" Dante blinked. "Well if you're not happy then you should tell him."

*Shortstraw read it about three times and tryed to put peices together. He was conffused more so what the gathering in this case would be about. It seemed keria set it up... He looked to her and placed the letter down... he rose his camra, took a picture, and put his camra away, this way he had evidence as he put it down in a spechal stack of it's own to talk to her about. He would not decide such things like this. It wasn't his place. However he would question it if need be. He was in wonder however. Did this tie with what he had Eve doing right now?

Kyle frowned and shook his head. "Why would I want to tell father anything about what I'm feeling?" Dante now was confused. "You don't tell him anything? Anything at all?" Kyle carefully stood up with Evelin in his arms as he looked away. "Why would I want to do that?" Kyle walked away into another room to place Evelin down, leaving Dante slightly baffled. He couldn't pinpoint that boy.
A few hours later, coming up to dinner time, Kiera slid out of her chair and onto the floor where she was knocked awake. "Oh!" She rubbed her head and moved onto her knees. "I need to... stop doing that.." She said to herself. "Oh jesus, I haven't finished the work-" She quickly stood up to find it all done. "Wha-"

*Shortstraw was down stairs with the kids and helping lilly get the food onthe table. "I'll need to go wake up keria before we start." Lilly nodded, "well i'll get everyone else." He nodded, "alirght." He chukkled as he would go check on keria. As he headed up stairs and to the office, "hun... you wake yet?"
