Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." You're only saying that because you have no information to go on." Fredrich assured while looking down at Ellery. " He could still be in shock or traumatized from the scene. It's not uncommon for someone who's witnessed a death to react by smiling or laughing." Just as he finished explaining, Cameron walked into the building and towards him. Tension immediately filled the air as the two 'friends' stared at each other, both of their muscles tensed up with the urge to attack one another. " Kid in there?" Cameron asked quietly while glaring at Fredrich, who returned the glare. The taller one nodded, and Cameron walked in - making sure to bump Fredrich with his shoulder. The child inside was interested in the tension that had formed. He watched the two intently then looked at the officer that sat down next to him. He blinked as the officer stared hard at him, as if to read his mind or see into his soul. It didn't bother him, though, only interested him. Suddenly, Cameron smirked. " Yeah, he's got the eyes of a killer." he stifled a chuckle. " So how'd it feel? I bet it was pretty fun hearing those screams and watching their blood pour out like spilled juice." The boy blinked at Cameron, fascinated by his description of death and gore. Everyone else had described it as nothing but awful things, but this man... it was like he understood the thrill. A wide, toothy smile spread on the boy's face. " It was fun." he nodded in agreement. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

♵ ♶ ♷ ξllery Ѧdvimi ♷ ♶ ♵ " I think you've forgotten how close to death I've been," replied Ellery, jumping as Cameron and Liam walked in. He smiled cordially at the doctor, who returned the smile in kind. " Dr. Grant. It's nice to see you again." " And you, Mr. Advimi. I trust you are doing well?" inquired the purple-haired male, taking care to remain steps away from Ellery and inches close to Cameron. Ellery nodded, fingers inching towards Fredrich's coat and gripping. " Very well, Dr. Grant. Thank you for asking." Formalities gone, Grant followed Cameron into the room, leaning beside him and wrapping his arms around the officer's shoulders. He too watched the boy, eyes taking in every detail before smiling at his reply to Cameron's words. " I'll bet! One of my favorite parts is probably right before they die, though, when they're twitching in the blood and they realize that it's you that's killing them. Oh, it just sends shivers down the spine!" With a smooth giggle, he disentangled himself from Cameron and sat on the boy's other side, his own cruel, evil eyes smiling madly at the boy. " I was told you killed the entire orphanage. Honestly, you're so young, you must be a born killer. You've got some serious talent!" Over by the detective, Ellery paled. " I know that those two are, you know, evil killing machines and to them, this kid is fantastic, but do they really have to encourage him?" he whispered.

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.The boy smiled at Liam and nodded eagerly until he heard the last of his statement. " No, they were happy." he said with a shake of his head. " I gave them what they wanted." " What was that?" asked Cameron with a raised eyebrow. The boy looked at Cameron. " Everyone always told me about how they wanted to see their parents again and how they'd never be happy without them." he mumbled then looked down at his tiny clenched fists. " They talked about it all the time. Every day. Every minute. So I thought that if I killed them and sent them to Heaven, they could see their parents again. I did a good thing." He looked back at them and smiled. " My ears stopped hurting when they all stopped talking." he giggled and covered his ears playfully. Fredrich glanced at Ellery then back at the boy. " I don't want to understand how their mind works, but now we know that this boy is the real killer." He pursed his lips. " We can't send him to jail, and he has no parents... We might have to give him to the government and let them decide." " No!" Cameron spouted and instantly turned to look at the two. " You can't just throw him away like that!" " I have no other options, Cameron." Fredrich muttered. The cop hesitated and looked around as if an idea was waiting somewhere in the room for him. Sure enough, there was. " What if... What if I adopt him?" Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

" You can't be serious, Cameron. We just barely started living together. We can't adopt a child!" He sighed and crossed his arms. " Besides, we don't know the first thing about raising a kid."

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." We can't just leave him!" Cameron persisted. " I work on the Force, I've seen what the government does to kids! They throw them in institutes and have freaks watch them and brainwash them!" Perhaps he should have spoken softer, because the boy had lost his smile and had grown silent. Cameron didn't notice it, he was too focused on trying to convince Liam. " I'll take care of him! You won't have to lift a finger, I'll take care of all the expenses and everything!" " No." Fredrich answered for Liam. " You can't just adopt someone guilty of a murder and hide them from the law, Cameron." " God, could you be any more hypocritical?" Cameron growled at the detective. " You want to talk to me about a killer evading the law?! That's total-" " Shut it!" Fredrich boomed. " You can't adopt the boy. We have to give him a just punishment, not a home with other murderers!" Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

♵ ♶ ♷ ξllery Ѧdvimi ♷ ♶ ♵ " Like you did with Daniel, you mean?" replied Liam to Fredrich, still not really wanting the child, but just wanting to oppose the detective. Ellery, finally having enough, grabbed a book and slammed it on the table. " SHUT UP, ALL OF YOU!" he yelled, his soft voice raised and angry. " You're talking about a child, not an adult. Fredrich, he's Daniel's age. He's become this way because he has no one to love him and teach him right from wrong. And honestly, you have no room to talk, considering Daniel is already a sadist and lives under your roof. Let the child live with Liam and Cameron. That itself should be punishment enough." " Hey! I keep a very orderly household!" protested Liam, only to be hushed by a glare from Ellery. " Fredrich, let the boy live with them for a month. If he doesn't show improvement, take him away and send him to an institution. He deserves at least a chance to be loved."

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Fredrich looked back and forth from Ellery and the silent child before glaring at the doorway. " Fine. Do whatever you want!" he growled and stormed out of the room altogether. At the time, Cameron had started dragging the chair the boy was in away, thinking that he would have to resort to kidnapping to get his way. He was halfway out the room with the boy looking at him curiously when Fredrich's words sank in. " What? We can really have him?" he blinked then looked down to make eye contact with the child. Beaming from ear to ear, Cameron wrapped his arms around him and rubbed him against his cheek affectionately. " Yaaaaaaay! I'm going to be the best daddy ever! Ooh, wait til I tell Dad!" he gushed, little hearts floating around his head despite the lack of enthusiasm the boy had. Meanwhile, Ellery raced out of the room, wrapping his fingers around Fredrich's arm and trying to yank him to a stop. " Aren't you a little old to be throwing a tantrum?" he tried to joke before becoming serious. " Fredrich, he's a little boy, not a hardened criminal. Why are you so upset about this?"

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Fredrich waited until he was outside and away from everyone's hearing range before turning around to tower over Ellery. " So we were supposed to let him be raised by two hardened criminals?" he demanded, moving his arm out of the songwriter's grip. " I can't keep overlooking these things, Ellery! I let Cameron walk free every day, I let Liam stay with him, I even killed Daniel's father because you wanted me to! Anymore leniency and I might as well turn in my badge!" " And you'll be the cutest mom ever!" Cameron cooed to him, still rubbing his newly appointed son against his cheek. The officer relished his victory for a moment before turning to face the boy. " What's your name, anyway? You never told us." The boy, however, just stayed silent and stared at his 'parents' with loathsome eyes. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

♵ ♶ ♷ ξllery Ѧdvimi ♷ ♶ ♵ " Leniency? Really? You're really using that word?" he replied angrily, refusing to allow himself to be intimidated. " Cameron's your own fault, but I asked you to allow Liam to be free. I brought Daniel in, and asked you to kill his father because I would not have my son, my child grow up to be a vengeful murderer filled with hatred. And beyond that, I raise him with you, the only killer out of the two of us, the cold assassin that you are. If anyone is lenient between us, it is me." His little fists clenched tightly. " He's a child, Fredrich. Daniel could have been like that if we hadn't taken him in when we did. Or do you forget how dead his eyes were when we found him already?" " I think the file said his name is Julian," replied Liam, crossing his arms and watching the boy warily. " Would you like him to take your name or mine, dear?"

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Fredrich hesitated when Ellery described him as an assassin, but dismissed it. " I kill only when it's absolutely necessary! It's kill or be killed." he seethed before hearing the rest of what he had to say. " You also saw what hanging around Cameron did to him! He's obsessed with death now, Ellery! Do we really want a murdering child raised to be encouraged to kill?" The child, Julian, looked over at Liam. Although Cameron was holding him up, he kept his arms down and made no attempt to hold onto him like any other child would. " ...You're both weird." he mumbled and looked away. Parents. These would be his parents? No, he didn't want that. They were weird, and they were both men. Cameron, distraught by Julian's first words as his son, set him down and sat at a corner. A blue fog enveloped him when he pulled his knees up to his chest and poked the ground. " He hates us, Liam. We're such awful parents..." he mumbled sorrowfully. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

♵ ♶ ♷ ξllery Ѧdvimi ♷ ♶ ♵ " You say that like I'm the one that encouraged him to be around Cameron!" he exclaimed, on a roll. " Daniel is happy, even though he's a little more morbid than before. He smiles, he laughs, he adores us. He's a good boy, who loves his parents and his life. Julian deserves that too." He came closer, setting his hands on Fredrich's chest and gazing up at his with wide green eyes that had tears brimming. " Please, Fredrich, don't be angry with me. Today was supposed to be so wonderful, with us going to that performance later today and having time to be friends instead of parents. Please... Please forgive me if you're angry." " Well, I haven't done anything, so it's just you," chuckled Liam before he reached out and lifted Julian. " Come on, let's get going home. Hey kid, you have anything you need to pick up before we go?"

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Fredrich glowered down at Ellery when he put his hands on his chest, but after a moment of staring at the almost-tears, he sighed wearily and turned away. " Fine. Let's get dressed before the show starts." he grumbled, defeated, and waltzed back to his car. Many police officers slowly pulled their gaze away from the angered detective to look at Ellery, all of them staring at him as if he wasn't human. No one could every as much as look Fredrich in the eye even when he was in a good mood (except for Cameron), but to touch him with his was frothing with anger, that was unheard of. When he was picked up, Julian looked at Liam and leaned forward to sniff him. He grimaced and covered his nose. " You smell yucky." he said. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

" Alright, so we have about two hours to get ready, and I think we're supposed to dress semi-casual, so pretty much like you always do! But I'll have to get dressy, so... It'll be a challenge." He slid into the passenger seat of the car, setting his finger on his chin. " Do you think I should wear blue or grey?" " Oh yes, and you're a basket of damn roses," he retorted, rolling his eyes. " Cameron, you take him. He's already irritating me."

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up.Fredrich was fairly silent on his way to the car. He slid the key into the ignition and put his seat belt on before looking at Ellery contemplatively. " Blue." he answered. " It'll match your eyes better than gray." he said and drove off. Julian shook his head feverishly. " I don't want to be around any of you. You're both weird and smell funny." he said and hopped out of Liam's arms. " I wanna go home!" he demanded and stomped his foot angrily. " He's so demanding!" Cameron whined while plodding towards Liam, streams of tears rolling down his cheeks. " He's already at the rebel stage! Oh God, Liam, they really do grow up so fast! What college should we enroll him into?!"
