Hey! I'm Dish... I just signed up for the guild... i'm a long time Gaian member but I took a long hiatus called being an adult and well I found the website again years later and I'm back! sweatdrop heart I don't have any favourite artists as my appreciation for art styles ranges a lot but I would have to say Anime is my biggest Artistic inspiration. In particular Naoko Takeuchi, Yuzo Takada, and Akira Toriyama. I prefer traditional mediums though I'm starting to delve into the world of digital and play around with pieces in there. It's definitely good for saving paper! My favourite thing to draw with has definitely got to be Markers, with paint being a close second. (If it didn't take so darn long to dry!) I've been drawing now for something like 20 years, my passion for Art was born at a pretty young age. I used to trace the television by taping paper to the screen while I paused my favourite animes and traced the characters/tried drawing them myself. Now years later I draw my own character style that I've developed. My Tumblr is paradoxdish ninja A freehand original mixed media piece called 'Clockwork' 15x17"  Here's a little sample of what I like to create. smile A anime stylized version of Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas movie characters Jack and Sally. It's called 'Forever is a long time'. 11x14" Bottom is a doodle I did to test some new marker colours a year ago. 11x14" Excited to be a part of the forums and share Art! <3

I prefer to sketch with pencil, and if i want, i color it digitally

i have a few, Sawasawa, nao tsukiji, takenaka
-Recommend any good comics/manga?
i follow a lot, but right now, im into tower of god, noblesse, flow, adekan (this one is illegally beautiful). in terms of anime im watching kyousougiga but nothing else atm. last season i was watching snk, free, and gargantia. but my all time favs include No.6, Durarara! and Hetalia (which i also read)
-Do you have a gallery?
no, but i put some of my works in my art arena.
-How long have you been drawing?
i think i have always been drawing, but i only had a few lessons when i was 8 or 9.
-Do you prefer traditional over CG or vice versa?
i prefer to draw the lines with pencil, scan it, and then use photoshop to color
-What's your favorite store for art supplies?
i dont shop for art supplies, i only need a mechanical pencil
-What are your artistic weaknesses/strengths?
Im atrocious at coloring, im partially colorblind.
-What are your art pet peeves?
limbs that are too short, proportions in general
-Do you collect art supplies like I do? 8D;;

Hell everyone I'm Titenzoner but you can call me Titenz or Titans.
I have been drawing for about 2 weeks and am already better then I expected I would be. I prefer using pencils and paper.
I used to be a writer (tagging/graffiti) but that doesn't really count be cause I never actually priced just tagged.
My favourite artist is probably Wayne Clements.
I don't have a favourite shop, comic or any of that I'm still very new to drawing.

Yo. I'm Bruce. ^_^ I draw manga-style, because I read a lot of manga. The older I get, the more I wish I could draw other styles better. Or just this one better haha. I see people four or five years younger who draw better - it's kinda depressing really. xD I guess that's what happens when you go to University and stop drawing... But I'm starting again now. If you like, you can add me on DA and see what new bits n bobs I put up over the next few months. DAWelp that's me. I need to go to the toilet, so laters! biggrin

Hi! I'm Shelby! I love drawing anime, but I've been trying to draw more realism (it's a lot harder then I had originally thought.) . I had started drawing at a young age, and have been hooked on it since! . I don't really have a favorite artist or anything but I take a great deal of inspiration in a lot of deviant artists. . My weaknesses are drawing guys as well as coloring, it takes me forever! My strengths are drawing women and details! . I love reading manga and watching anime and get a lot of inspiration from them as well. . I don't really buy art supplies if I do their usually just copic markers, paint, and pens/pencils. . I don't really have pet peeves, except for when my old comp. wants to blackout on me in the middle of a drawing, now that's annoying. . What I use for drawing is SAI, sometimes Fire Alpaca and my WACOM Bamboo pen, model: MTE-450(<-- Really old and really hard to get parts for.) -a chicken (mind as well be, since i cant draw to save my life) -anyone that can draw something better than a stick figure. -doesnt know were to begin on the anime. ( heart so many heart ) -i do not have a gallery, unless you count saving pics from google -i have been drawing for a total of 0 years eek ... i dont think scribbles count or failed attempts at learning. -anything that looks good.(am totally a noob when it comes to art) -restraunts, when they give me those small crayons for being special...least thats what they keep telling me. ninja -weakness... everything... strength, none...wait im an expert at crumbling and burning paper burning_eyes -my pet peeves in art, i dont really have any. -i actually collect alot of art supplies, for someday that i may hit my head and become a good artist...or pay someone to draw for me... (draw me a picture johnny...draw me a picture twisted ) (since i cant draw to save my life, i do have quite a bit of gold. im not crazy rich with 100s of mils, but im not poor with less than 5mil. o.o... ill nvr tell you how much i have so dont ask. but i am willing to pay for art =P. you can PM me if your looking for work... there is usually something weird that i want drawn... like a banana on the moon... dont just pm me showing me a pic of your cat asking me to pay for that... ill bite you...and then steal your cat.)

Hello. I'm Renkon Root. But on deviantART I'm known as RenkonNairu. I don't upload things very often because motivation is a big problem of mine. But I used to be very active in my art. I used to have an art shop in the forums, but closed it after my motivation and inspiration dried up. Hopefully this guild might rekindle me.

I love art very much.
My favorite artists are Tetsuya Ishida, Hieronymus Bosch, and Choi Xoo Ang. My favorite mangaka is Asano Inio.
I've been creating art for about 2-3 years on a more serious level. Before that I just scribbled all over my notes during class.
I like to work more with traditional mediums, but recently I've been trying to learn how to work more digitally (it's really hard for me...)
I do hoard art supplies and other things that I can use to make sculptures. It's actually becoming a problem.
I have an obsession with fetuses and aliens, so those usually appear in my art...
I hope that I can make some friends here. I took a long break from gaia and all my friends left. sweatdrop

But I find cg to be pretty darn awesome -What's your favorite store for art supplies? Weakness: impatience with my work and inability to fully and properly draw in perspective. Strength? I can still make it look decent XD -What are your art pet peeves? When I come up with an idea and it constantly changes. It pisses me off since at one point, I don't know what I'm doing anymore and I scrap my work. -Do you collect art supplies like I do? Even when I was inactive I buy art materials like there's no tomorrow. I'm broke because of it actually. I think I particularly like the smell and the feel of a new sketchbook(for example) and walking through the store and discovering new supplies or mediums and daydreaming while doing so because, all of a sudden, so many possibilities just open up. Hi Im sixteen years old and I just joined wink My inspiration is american cartoon-like style since its so varried. I love how comics and cartoons can have such different ways to show a person or an animal in such different styles :3 I also like streetart a lot and try to incorporate it in my art. My favorite medium is my coloring pencils. I prefer traditional over digital. Im trying to get into digital but all those buttons and effects just make me dizzy wehh :') This is my deviantArt: http://beanieb00.deviantart.com/ dramallama I joined this guild because I like doing requests for people when I dont have any inspiration to draw. My weakness is motivation and trying and practising new things, because I cant take it when things dont work out the first time (which is why my tablet is collecting dust) :') My strenth is that Im pretty okay at the things I normally do I guess.
