Nothing spots are tiles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 16, 17, 18, 20, 23, 24, 27, 28, 30, 31, 35, 36, 41, 42, and 43.
Other guaranteed safe spots are tiles 21, 22, 25, 32, 34, 38, 47, and 48.
Stick to forest and fort tiles for their defense boosts.
The thicket on tile 38 only has 17 HP left! At least 2 more turns until it's broken!
The thickets below tiles 18 and 14 have already been broken.

Next is the mother (19) followed by Alex (20), Kieran (24), Boy (25), Aruna (30), Clara (30), and Wallace (38 ).
Of the enemies, the thief has the lowest HP (23).
Next is the tiger (26), the revenant near Clara and Kieran (27), the barbarian (28 ), then the cat (37).
The rest of the enemies have not taken damage.

The villagers have stopped moving on tile 28 thanks to Kieran's directions. FE9's direction mechanic has been implemented.
We can rescue units at the cost of 1 def and 1 res. Stats can't be negative.

Recommendations Take them or leave them. This is just some advice.
Wallace - Rescue a villager. We need to guarantee we'll get the barbarian's attention so that he'll move to the mine.
Dylan - Place the mine on tile 30.
Mel - Astra the tiger.
Once the barbarian is gone, we'll be depending on Wallace's guard skill.
