Running clearly wasn't the answer here, as the Nightmare would run the Nidoran down and slam him into one of the various creeping vines which crawled from the edges of the mist. Two strikes was all it had taken to eliminate the Nidoran, thus proving that even on equal footing the Nightmare was something to be truly afraid of. The question was whether Theo would seek revenge, or do his best to escape from this hellish creature! He'd have to decide quickly, even as Crocus evaporated before him, vanishing as if he were an illusion. The Nidoran had lost his life; but one could never truly die in a dream. Theo would have to wait till they awoke to see his Pokemon again!
Within one move, Poochyena would lay lifeless on the ground. It's body would begin to disintegrate in to mist before vanishing in thin air. "Poochyena!" Sora shouted. The feeling of just now losing his best friend had struck him....hard. His eyes began to tear up at his almost immediate loss. That was until he remembered what the Hypno said. This was a place where only the mind lingered. He wasn't actually here, at least not physcially. So then that meant that Poochyena was still alive, just not mentally alive here in the Dream World. With that realization in mind, Sora felt much better, but he still had to deal with this Trapinch. For one thing, he could just try to run away. But if Sora caught it, he could train it and fully evolve it into a Flygon. Well might as well finish what he started, althought he was beginning to second guess this decision. "Let's go Scraggy!" He had to think positive, keep being optimistic.

Crocus was slammed once more and he hit the vines before evaporating. The pain of the attack was intense, it felt like several of his ribs breaking. That fool of a trainer was Crocus's last thought as he evaporated. Their relationship had worsen and Crocus trust him even less.
The nightmare proven to be too much an opponent for him. Seeing Crocus evaporated was quite a shock to him, Theo had believed he could win against the nightmare. He clenched his hand and looked toward the nightmare then Midnight. He wanted to continue this battle despite the odd, believing they still had the chance to win. However, when he glanced toward Midnight, he noticed. Midnight was shivering after seeing Crocus vanished. Theo wasn't heartless enough to not care for his pokemon's condition. They could no longer battle.
"Let's retreat" he said in a whisper to Midnight. There would be another chance later, just not this time. The problem was how to get out from this place, it was completely changed from the previous place. Taking a gamble, They both ran, distancing away from the nightmare. It was the only way he could find to retreat.

((I'm not sure how that calculation for this goes so I'll have to leave it to you Lunar, sorry sweatdrop It was a little confusing after reading the info at the info center... ))
Distance was something of a relative term in the dream world. They'd certainly manage to outpace their foe, racing into the mist...but the land was not as they remembered. Trees, branches like clawing hands dotted the landscape, red barbed thorns lay strewn across creeping vine, the mountains and rocks had taken on the appearance of jagged horrors; and the sky remained cast in permanent twilight. They were still very much in the midst of the nightmare, made all the more evident by the mist creeping round their feet. Escape wouldn't be that simple.
">OI!<" A young, surprisingly sharp voice would bark at them ">Ah said OI!<" An entire boulder suddenly shattered, the fragments whizzing passed Theo's head ">Wha the %#@% do you lil' %@#$ think yer doing 'ere!?<" The voice shouted at the pair, and when Theo turned to look he'd find the source to be another Tyrogue. A few scars on his face, and a thick vein pulsing on his forehead it was plain this wasn't one of those nicey nice Pokemon many people talked about. ">This 'ere is mah turf, n' ya little %$#%# kin bugger right off!<" The fighting-type declared before spitting rather crudely on the ground ">Acshly ya serve better as a warnin! Haven' had a gid brawl today anyway!<" The Pokemon said, plainly making decisions for the boy rather then waiting for a response ">Come on ya lil %#@& let's see what yas got!<" The Tyrogue challenged, slamming his fists together while sprouting a predatory grin.
Speaking of sprouts, a closer view of the Pokemon would bring with it the noticeable presence of a large black shard of crystal jutting from his shoulder, seeming to absorb the light rather then refract it.

((When switching Pokemon due to a faint the turn order is reset based on SPD stat; however since in this case your Scraggy is the faster Pokemon, yes you attack.))
Massive jaws snapping shut the Trapinch looked a little bewildered as the Poochyena disappeared. Well that was certainly a waste of a good meal...oh look, seconds! The Pokemon's beady black eyes would blink twice, focusing on the newly arrived Scraggy; but it wasn't as foolish as the one that had suddenly attacked it. True to it's nature the Trapinch would slide into it's hole, mouth partially open and then wait patiently. No need to act rashly, he was the careful type after all!
They managed to run from the nightmare, but not from the nightmare's territory. The surrounding was still very much dark and ominous. The landscape was still looks like it was taken straight from fairy tale, the dark kind. Someone's calling him, but he was busy running, before stopping as rock came flying. That was familiar and turned to see a tyrogue. It was plain the tyrogue was a different one than before. The scarred looked it had shown experience in battle.
The tyrogue were so pushy that it was giving him no choice in the matter. He would have ignored the challenge thrown at him. Theo had already prioritize something in his mind and would see to it completion than any other thing. He noticed something that changed his mind, a crystal at the tyrogue's back. it was absorbing light. Very intriguing, it might have something to do with this nightmarish place.
Midnight too had noticed the crystal and sensed her trainer's desire to fight. It looked like her trainer held back for her sake. He was glancing her way and was silent. She was the only pokemon her trainer had now that Crocus was out of the dream world. " I-I...I will fight!" Midnight declared, making her decision. She would not drag her trainer down, she must get hold of herself. Even if she was scared and the fear of being separated from her trainer if she lost.
Midnight was trembling earlier in the presence of the nightmare, but now she said she wanted to battle? the change in attitude was swift. What prompted such change from her usual shyness to bravery? She sometimes displayed such action, but Theo couldn't figure out the reason why.

╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Well no sense in rushing in for another attack again. Poochyena is gone already. I've Scraggy and Vullaby left, but with my irrational thinking, they'll be gone just as fast as Poochyena..... Sora contemplated for a while wondering whether he should attack or just forget this and run. He was even beginning to doubt his decision about staying and battling this Trapinch. That's it!! Remembering the battle with Scraggy before Sora had catured him, Scraggy had used Dragon Dance. Because of that, his strength had increased and his speed. Maybe if he did the same thing, it'd help him. "Scraggy, use Dragon Dance!" With winds picking up, Scraggy began sway back and forth moving along with the cool breeze that had suddenly picked up. It was amazing how some moves could be perfectly executed. Sora just hoped that this would give him at least a slight advantage.

The Cacnea would smile as it seemed to wiggle a bit.
(You will .... yay, b*****d)
The pokemon would declare as it seemed to do a bit of a dance.
(You need to come up here, on one of these ledges and try and push the rocks off of the ledge to stack them. If you beat me ....)
He would declare with a dance to his step .... as it would seem without further adieu. The pokemon would start to push the rocks over. The goal was to get them to stack, and that only happens if the rocks were able to land perfectly on each other. Thus, the pokemon would start it game.

The way this game works is that you roll ....5d20. The goal is to roll the closest to 10. This is a 3 round game.
Point system. 10 exactly = 10points 2 away or less(high or low) = 8 points. 4 - 3 away (high or low) = 6 points. 6 -5 away (high or low) = 4points. (7 -8 away (high or low) = 2 points. (9 -10 away (high or low) = -10 points.

The two would collide, and it was only the fact that the move was quick attack that stop it from ending in that one blow ....as the Emolga was sent backwards a few steps. His foot steps would slow .....as he flagged his tail and then rolled his shoulders.
(Weak ...so weak, and you are suppose to protect her. Humph, you know, you aren't really protecting her ....afterall ...you are letting her live a lie. HOw good of a friend can you be?)
(And don't go with the confusion mess ...you were with her before ...and you know ...by scent along what she really is. Your eyes might lie, but your ...nose never)
He would tell the squirrel as he waited for his rebuttal. The squirrel would stand this time on the defensive.

The Tyrogue's grin just seemed to broaden at the acceptance of his foe; not like he'd have let them say no anyway. ">Oi oi! Good! Ya lil %$#@ ain't a bunch of pantywastes!<" The Pokemon barked in his crude accent, slamming one hand into the opposite palm in a gesture similar to his earlier display. Jumping down from his stone the Tyrogue would land in a crouch, feet slamming against the ground before he immediately dashed forward ">UUUUUUURAAAAAH! Show me what ya got ya lil' $#@%<" He roared, his hands sparkling like silver as he closed the distance between himself and Midnight with surprising speed. A brief snarl left the Pokemon's throat, then the fists would fly at blinding speed. Bullet Punch.

Perfect would be something of an exaggeration, given that the moment the Scraggy took the next step in the dance, it's foot would suddenly crash through the ground, sending the Pokemon sprawling. They hadn't thought about it, but the Trapinch didn't sit in a single hole, but possessed a network of tunnels running just below the surface; and the Scraggy had just shoved his foot in one. Were they to bother checking they'd find the Trapinch no longer hiding in the hole where it had been watching' instead small legs and massive head carried it through at an exceedingly swift pace below ground, beelining straight for his attacker. He'd taken a bite out of the Poochyena, now it was time to nibble some Scraggy with Bug Bite!
Raven would watch on rather curiously, but he'd play no direct part in the game. He was an audience. The difficult part was up to Fable, and he was in no position to assist. Scrambling up onto the rock the Charmander in question would shuffle about, constantly repositioning himself before pushing the rocks forward. Best of luck.
╔═════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Stumbling over the holes that were created by the Trapinch, Sasori was beginning to worry about Scraggy's well-being already. But he had to remain positive. No wonder what else the Nightmare would make him see. Scraggy had stepped into a hole, thus leaving his foot out for the Trapinch to get it. "Get out of there quickly Scraggy!". Scraggy was already timid enough to battle, now he had to deal with getting attacked by the Trapinch at any minute, popping out at any of these holes in the ground.

{15 - 16} + {7 - 8} = -2 // Trapinch takes no damage. ((<----- This is how it's done, right?))
The game started and it would seem that the little lizard would have the advantage as the Cacnea in his haste would have his tower topple not once, but twice. The first time ....it would simply slide off of the rock ...no big deal, but the second time ...he had everything stack up before the rock on the top would make everything else topple.
The Cacnea would look at the tumbling of rocks and then shout out.
(This is so ******** UP!)
Then he would look at the Charmander's beside him.
(WHAT THE HELL? Are you cheating, because a b*****d like you can't possible beat me at this game)
The Cacnea would accuse even as he would start to stack his second round. He really didn't think the pokemon had cheated ....as far as he knew ...no pokemon could cheat at this game. Thus, he would start again, and really put his back into it ...as he rolled one rock after another, hoping this time, to actually start to stack a pile.
