Looking through the bushes what Jasmine would find was something of an odd sight. Perched atop a rather massive pile of brightly coloured eggs was a Buneary, panting and breathing heavily as she continued to mutter ">Egg...egg....egg egg....<"

Jasmine blinked at the sight there... Buneary... eggs... she was sure there was a connection somewhere she couldn't quite place.
"Um... congratulations?" Jasmine offered, looking at the huge pile below the manic rabbit. "Is everything okay here?"
Rather then answering the girl directly the Buneary merely continued to mutter to itself ">Egg...egg....ooh I'm gonna eeeegg!<" A slight grunt would come from the creature, and as if by magic the pile beneath the Normal-Type would suddenly double in size, hundreds of little eggs rolling about to hit the bottom...along with the Buneary that apparently produced them.
Groaning the furry egg-layer would rise to it's feet, turn about, and immediately dig through the pile ">Where...is it....egg....egg....EGG!...no...<" The Buneary muttered, shouted, then muttered again as it threw an egg over it's shoulder to splat against the floor. It was at this point, the beast's voice clearer now that it had stopped panting, that Jasmine would be able to notice one strange little fact...this Buneary was male.

Nightingale again recoiled in horror at the egg destruction upon the ground, whilst the rest of the group tried to comprehend what they were seeing.
[It's... male?]
"He's looking for something!" Jasmine corrected the Lampent as she leaned forward, looking at the Buneary's desperate rush, something under that pile, was it responsible for all of this?
He was struggling as is, but she looked to Burnout, "Start clearing eggs, help him out!"
Even if the Buneary struggled to speak, Jasmine would still try to ask him... "Please tell us what it is you need to find, we'll help you as quickly as we can!"

If one listened very closely, they could heard a sharply grumbled litany of curses pouring from Culann's mouth. Why was he still doing this? Why was the Buneary's mother still allowing this to happen? Why had Vanni not stopped this nonsense? Why was any of this happening anymore? As he went through a minor existential crisis, the Growlithe found all he could do was keep up his pursuit of the little wretch, swinging to splash him at least once.
As if in response to the girl's concerns the Buneary would suddenly vanish, as would it's mother. Apparently things had simply gone on too long for a continuation to be a worthwhile experience for anyone.

Like a dream fading as the dawn brushed away the odd fancies of a mind at rest, the Buneary would fade without any real rhyme or reason. Or maybe they'd just gotten bored of the whole situation. Either way, Culann was more than happy to see them go. "That was pointless," he grumbled, dropping the pail as he spoke. It clattered to the ground as the Growlithe trotted back to his trainer's side.
"I don't think anything's ever truly pointless, dear Culann," Vanni remarked dreamily, eyes a little unfocused.
The firedog sighed. Not this again... lightly, he nudged the ditzy girl forward, and she feel into step.

The answer would come in the form of Jasmine receiving an egg to the face, along with each member of her group receiving one of their own. Clearly the child remained as unobservant as always. The Buneary wasn't digging his way into the pile, he was sorting through it. With a small brown paw he would pick up each egg one at a time, turn it over, and then toss it to one side when he was certain it wasn't the right one. A blue egg, a red egg, a yellow egg covered in spots, all of varying sizes would be looked over and tossed to the side. At one point the Buneary would pick up a small pink egg, causing a noticeable shudder to run through his body before it was junked rather violently into the side of a tree. ">White....blue....brown...<" He muttered as he sorted through the eggs ">...where's the black one?<"
Gatcha-Egg! Roll 3D20 Each egg is worth points. Black Egg (20) is an automatic win. Pink Egg halves your score! (1)
What the young Vanni would encounter next was something which actively defied description. The bushes would rustle, the sound leading to the discovery of a Farfetch'd. Now the bird, while somewhat rare, wasn't all that unusual. The strange thing was where it sat. Leak in one hand the Farfetch'd had placed itself in a surprisingly large pot of water, and appeared to be actively attempting to light a fire underneath!

Jasmine'd face may have been nearly nothing but bandages, but it certainly did not feel pleasant receiving the egg to the face as yolk dropped down her face, and the girl spluttered as she would pluck off her glasses and try to clear them...
This however left three sets if spare hands... Or appendages perhaps in Ironclaw's case as the three remaining seemed to ignore Jasmine's plight for the moment, whatever was causing this strange dream had a clear resolution...
[You heard him, look for a black egg!] Nigtingale would call out as she, Ironclaw and Burnout delved into the pile!
Vanni and Culann had been walking along in relatively peaceful silence as they approached the strange bird in the cauldron. That... was certainly not a thing she'd been expecting. If this had actually been her dream, would such an odd site have been a reflection of her mind? Or even now, did her unusual thoughts warp the world around her. Well, no time for philosophy. Head tilted with curiosity, she nodding politely to the clearly agitated Farfetch'd "Do you need some help, sir?" she asked politely, doing her due diligence to keep a step or two back away from the fluffy bird.

Jasmine's Pokemon would come away with a rather odd selection of eggs. The first of which, discovered by Nightingale, was a bright shade of Purple, the surface riddled with bumps like bubbles in plastic. It looked sort of....toxic. Ironclaw's egg was distinctly different in that it was a mixture of gold and white, seeming to give off it's own radiance. Truly a heavenly delight! Burnout would succeed in finding a black egg...though instead of the solid black of which they were clearly looking for, this one was marked with a large white X, and almost as soon as he touched it several eggs splattered against his body. Rather unlucky.
The three had failed in their attempt to find the much sought after egg, and moments after the pile would collapse, avalanching over the Buneary. The beast was probably fine...but they wouldn't be seeing him for awhile!

DUCK BARING GREEN ONIONS! Objective: Get 'er cookin! Get the fire going by rolling 1D20. Must roll higher then me to get passed the wet wood. Afterward roll 3D20 and load up more wood. For every roll above 10 the fire gets hotter! For every turn it takes you to start the fire your score is negatively impacted!

The pair looked at the bird with twin expressions of curiosity. "I FEEL THIS IS HIGHLY UNETHICAL--" Culann began loudly, tail lashing back and forth in an agitated manner.
"Go help the nice bird, dear," was Vanni's absentminded reply.
The Growlithe sighed, hot air expelling from his nose in a most unbecoming manner. "Crazy," he remarked once again, airing his perpetual opinion. Still, he closed his eyes, gradually drawing out the fire that flickered deep in his heart. Familiar bright sparks gathered on his fur, hissing and curling. Not having a much better option, he bounded forward, tossing his fiery body right onto the wet wood!
