Oh he was just as much of a creepy a*****e In real life as he was on the forums. Did he seriously not know who she was? How else did she know about the damn forums...
Fine, two could play it this way.
Narrowing her eyes, she snatched the phone out of his hands and took a step away from Tony. They had docked finally, and it was time to go. "Back off, Puny human."
She wondered if he could catch a hint, before turning around and walking off.

At one point, Alder wanted to start humming to block out all the noises from the other passengers. There seemed to be a heated tussle - and he could hear someone getting hit - and the others talking about the park and what could possibly be housed on such an island. An investing nightmare, was all he could think of, and a headache for him to inspect. This was going to be terrible.
But a small island finally started to appear on the horizon, growing larger as the boat continued its path. Thank the lord. Wait, what the ... was that, his eyes narrowed seeing the beast in the sky and he visibly lurched when something came out of the ocean.
ಠ_ಠ
And he had to give up his iPad and phone, the audacity, what did they expect him to work with to properly assess this place? He had physical paperwork sure, but electronic was so much faster (it was really one of the few modern marvels he embraced). But, he accepted the demand, along with the notepad and made his way off the boat with wabbly legs.

Guest Name: Adler Green Guest Profession: Insurance Inspector Group: Unicorn Physical Description: A tall 6'5, thin, stern looking man of 42 who looks like he's never had fun in his life (because he hasn't). His hair is a sandy blonde and very nicely combed and well maintained, since he still has it and all, and his eyes are a very nice shade of green. Adler takes pride in his appearance, wearing very nice suits and very boring ties and socks to go along with his very well maintained shoes. About the only thing about him that could be interesting are his horn-rimmed glasses. Rarely smiles. Brief Character Profile: Let's get one thing straight, Adler didn't want to come to this place. He was assigned by his company to assets a future client, and given how he's a Director of Major Accounts that put him in prime position. Adler has no stitch of imagination and thinks all of this is asinine (maybe even part of him wants to prove it all fake). He has a stick up his a** (and looks it) and a rather cold demeanor. "It's just as Emilia said," Mira replied, clapping her hands again. "I'm a novelist, and a rather good one, I must agree -- even if I've yet to be publicized. We've got quite a motley crew here, don't... we..."
Her attention sailed away from them as she heard the other fancily-dressed man speak, and she was pretty damn sure that was a pegasus flying above them.
"Cor blimey," She whispers. "The rumors were true."
Mira turned back to the others, manic excitement shining all over her face. "Right! I'm a novelist! And I'm here looking for inspiration and that's enough small talk. Let's see some monsters, shall we?"

Steve felt a little dumb at that sec. " oh my bad must not of caught that part sorry about that." As Mira's attention sailed off so did his. He was looking off into the distance at the island and the flying thing above it, and almost fell over when he saw the tentacle in the water. "What the..." he had no words for what he just saw, he wasn't sure wheather it was the sickness from the boat or if he really did just see that. Still staring at the island " Ya sure if Let's see some monsters means we get off this boat then I'm good for that.....I guess"
All of Tooly's attention was suddenly diverted when the ship finally sighted land. She wiggled past Tony, and leaned out over the railing to get a better look. When the tentacle lifted out of the water and waved at the boat, her eyes nearly bugged out of her skull.
Frantically scrabbling for her phone, she got off a shot, but the picture was so dang blurry, the tentacle looked more like a loch ness monster hoax. Whatever was in the water certainly wasn't a hoax though. She turned back to her new teammates, eyes wide in a 'DID YOU SEE THAT?!' expression.
Since they were docking soon, Jean scrambled to get her stuff together, and get down the gangplank. She wanted to see as much of this place as possible! The news that she wouldn't be able to keep her cell was disappointing, but the little notepad she got in return was a pretty good compensation. If she couldn't take pictures, she'd just have to draw. And man, her head was already swimming with new costume ideas!

He glanced over towards Chikako as she answered the question, only half-listening since he was already rather familiar with Fukui Corp's investments. He grinned when she finished, turning to regard both of them with a light shrug of his shoulders. "Truthfully, my father sent me here to scope for a similar reason...though as you assumed, the biggest reason as to why I'm here at all is indeed simply because we received an invitation." It had sounded pretty intriguing, and--
--and then someone suddenly spoke up. Turning to face the woman with curious eyes, Ciaran's gaze swept over her to take in her appearance before he offered a polite smile and a small nod of his head. "Hello. Part of our group then, are you? My name is Ciaran." He offered his hand, and then his gaze flickered past her and towards the approaching body of land.
"Ah," He murmured suddenly, distracted as he realized that they were nearing the island that was to be their destination, "It seems like we don't have to wait much longer to see what all the fuss is about."
And though Ciaran liked to think himself level-headed and rational, he couldn't help but perk up in interest as something--a...a horse?--flew past overhead. Brows furrowing, he continued to stare upwards, lips pulling into a frown. Interesting...was that a hologram, perhaps? Certainly a fairly impressive one to be sure, but...
Well, they were here. He was sure they'd see a lot more from where that came from.

"Yes, well, Mira, you can call me Mr. Wimple," Harlan straightened when she spoke to him. His eyes dipped down and he rather blatantly stared at her chest for a moment before lifting his gaze once more.
"I was just telling the others that I don't have time for games and horseplay or distractions, and so I expect all of us to work together in order to ensure that we experience this opportunity - whatever it may be - to the fullest."
He shoved his glasses up his nose and idly watched a winged horse fly about. Harlan gave a few slow blinks before removing his glasses, idly cleaning them on the hem of his sweatervest before replacing them.
No, no.. that really was a flying horse.
He swallowed roughly, as he'd been rendered speechless for the first time since stepping on the boat.

Walking to exit the boat. "Mr. Wimple, I'm sure we have all come here to work just as hard as you have," stops and turn to Mr. Wimple and straightens his toupee for him. " But I would like to have a little fun in the process. After all it is a Wonder Park." Takes a deep breath and exits the boat.
She was half listening to the rest of the group as they grew closer to the island, watching it as they approached. There were several things flying around, and then, a tentacle peeking out of the water. It seemed like a pretty decent animatronic, and that boded fairly well for this whole thing.
Iris had no issues leaving her cellphone, which was the only electronic she had bothered to bring with her. She had had a feeling that they wouldn't be allowed to carry them around anyway, and really, all she needed to start with was a pad of paper anyways.
And they even gave her an extra.

Back the boat up past the shore and onto dry land. Was he actually interested in what she was talking about???
Lydia sat there with her mouth partially agape, fingers toying with the necklace she had been showing off moments before. This man was not like any other she had ever met. Sure she had talked to people about her profession before, but mostly other cryptozoologists like herself, or documentary filmers, or interviewers for various magazines (and many of those printed very unflattering articles). Wait, hadn't he said he was an author of some kind? What if he was one of those, that pretended to be nice and asked her questions, only to write something absolutely horrible and false about her work?
Stop thinking about it so much! Just answer the man!
An almost strangled escaped from Lydia's throat, just before Daniel E Whorl interuppted them, and Lydia cast squinting eyes towards the blurred shore that was rapidly approaching.
They had arrived.
Unfortunatly for the thirty-something woman, without her glasses on she really couldn't make out any of the fantastical things flying around in the sky. And so she stumbled clumsily to her feet, hefted her canvas bag, and got ready to depart from the boat. At the mention of electronics to be confiscated, she stopped just long enough to open up her bag, which from out of wafted the strong scent of garlic and something else....something that smelt alarmingly similar to urin, and reached inside to retrieve a battered old cellular device which appeared to be at least ten years outdated, the sound of glasses clinking together from within unmistakable.
"I think I've seen this movie." She said to Algie, once she had handed over her phone and they made their way off of the boat.
She planned on staying as close to her new mate as possible through this entire adventure.

Blind date convention, did they really have those types of things? Antonio blinked softly watching Tooly with a tired expression and he wasn't even the one chattering so much. Even if the woman seemed to talk a lot she was pleasant enough at least and for that he was thankful. Smiling he nods his head, "ah..yes that's fine, Tony, Tonio it doesn't really bother me." And it didn't people had shortened his name basically all his life, it was normal. The writer frowned softly as the makeup artist admitted to not having enough time to read, "such a shame..." Chuckling he turned his gaze out over the water as Cora was questioned, glad for the escape.
As he glanced out from the boat in the distance, an island came into view. Was this where they were heading? Antonio shifted to turn sideways, watching as they approached and the island became larger. Noticing the flying shadow above the island he craned his head up for a better look, eyes going wide in shock as the creature landed. His mouth opened but instead of words all that came out was a small gasp when a massive tentacle burst from the water to lazily wave at the ship.
Did that. Shaking his head the man rubbed furiously at his eyes. He was hallucination, it had to be the new anxiety pills right? RIGHT!? Turning back to watch the tentacle disappear he felt a heave in his chest, snapping his head around to Tooly and Cora, their expressions no better than his own.
Whorl's laughter broke his panic and the writer snapped his head to look at the eccentric man. There were... creatures of myth all around them and he was laughing as if it was amusing? Antonio for the moment wasn't thinking of this in the slightest as a great opportunity now he was more thinking about his own life and that of his companions, you know like someone who wasn't mad. Then of course the idea of robotics hit him, these were fake right?
Wonder Park. A huge fantasy attraction, of robotics ...right?
As the ship reached the docking area his panic attack was calming down allowing him to see things a little differently even if he was still very much on edge, he now had to find out what exactly these things were. Seeing the staff he followed Tooly's lead and moved from his seat as she wiggled past him, smiling to Cora weakly, "..welcome to wonder park." A bitter almost laugh sounded as the man moved past here, work mode clicking in.

Smiling a little more as the dragon man shook her hand enthusiastically as that surprised Tain just a little as she had never met anyone so delighted to meet her, but then she did tend to stick mostly to her studio unless she had other things that needed to be done outside her studio.
“Well it a pleasure to meet you as well, Louise,” Tain said as she continued to smile and was a little curious about Louise’s book since she had never heard of it well she would ask questions more on that later on.
“Also it’s a pleasure to meet you as well, Ian. I have always wondered to what Sett my pet snake has to say,” Tain said since she had heard of pet psychic but never had met one before. “Oh and I’m an FX artist mostly but I also do costume design,” she said since the others were telling what they did.
“Very nice to meet you Gwendolyn and everyone,” Tain said as she did have to wonder what this trip would bring.
Tain was going to say more but she had caught sight what was flying above them but she was totally lost for words right now. Wonder Part that totally hit the nail on the head in Tain’s mind to think what she had just seen was real, but there had to a trick or something as those where mythical creature. Trying so hard to get a good picture with her phone wasn’t worked as well as she thought, maybe she could get a closer shot later on.
Tain was not happy one bit her phone was her life everything that she needed was on there. Sighing as it couldn’t be helped as she was getting more excited to see more. Giving up her phone oh if it got lost she was going to raise hell.
“See you all on the dock,” Tain said as left heading off the boat.

She also thinks before asking or talking since Tain’s way of thinking is once you say anything it’s hard to take your words back if said wrong. Tain loves to try and figure out how things are build weather it be a prop or a costume and then after figuring it out how it was made to then figure out a way to make it look so much cooler. Cora felt her cheeks turning red as she tries not to react to the question. Her eyes glance towards Tonio, almost wishing he help her out. Coughing into her hand, she attempts to cleat her throat before her eyes wend wide over the creature that just flown overhead.
Wait.....that was....
She thought these types of creatures were only in the fantasy book. Turning her eyes towards the island, she couldn't honestly believe what she was seeing. Something just waved at them, from underwater?!?!?
Swallowing, she lifts her hand to her mouth before stepping aside to allow the other teammate to slip pass them. A small frown forming across her lips as she heard what they had to give up. She was find with her cell being given up, but did she really have to give up her camera. With a small sigh, she looks to Tonio as she heard his weak laugh, knowing full well he wasn't too happy at the moment.
Not that she could blame him.
All of a sudden everything they thought was fake, was suddenly very real. This was very hard to take in. Shaking her head, she holds tightly onto her camera as she follows Tonio off the boat and onto the docks.
Wonder park indeed....she was only worried what Wonder it had in store for them.
"Mr. Wimple," Mira said, mimicking him by pushing her own glasses up the bridge of her nose. Her chest was as rigid and thin as the rest of her, but it suddenly surged forward as she grabbed the man's hands as soon as they had returned to his sides. She eyed him seriously. "I'm afraid there will be plenty of horseplay."
With that, she charged off of the boat. "Sally forth, my fellow gnomes!"
