"Your understanding of life and death, strength and weakness, are so....limited," The creature thought to her. Just then it let out a gurgling squawk, sending a massive sound-wave towards her that tore apart the ground and walls as it came.

The creature shuttered as Chilia and her wolf fired their own attacks, though whether or not they hurt it was unclear. Suddenly it disappeared and appeared behind the two, reaching forward for them both with its barbed tentacles, attempting to wrap one or both in its piercing embrace.

[color-tan]Parasite....an interesting choice of words....and yet so accurate... the thing said inside her head. It continued squeezing her tighter, its barbs sinking into her as it drew her towards its beak. Though I can certainly feed myself... it assured her. Its beak opened wide, ready to consume her entirely. "Chilia! We need your-WHAT IS THAT!!??" Fleur cried in surprise as she saw the creature about to ingest Chilia.

Fleur made a face of disgust as she watched it try to eat Chilia. The creature shook itself back and forth as the wolf pulled on it, not allowing it to close its beak. Fleur's look of disgust turned into a thin smile. "Well...okay. But remember, you asked," she replied. She thrust her arms out and there was an explosion of light. Fleur had changed into her second, more powerful form.




Fleur was still grinning, though her smile was a bit crueler now. "This is going to hurt," she assured both of them as her wings creaked and twisted, straightening out. The now white crystals flipped horizontally and pointed towards the two entangled opponents. There were a series of ear-piercing shrieks as the crystals took off like rockets from her wings, more instantly reappearing in their place. The crystal rockets came screaming towards the two, detonating against both of them on impact. The explosions shook the corridor but they caused the creature to release Chilia. Fleur was still grinning as the smoke cleared. "You're quite welcome," she told Chilia. However, as the last of the smoke cleared, the beast was still floating, though several of its tentacles had been blown off, lying on the ground below it. It also had burns all across its body from the explosions. Ah, another opponent. I see you have both abandoned your pointless struggle to prevent our god from emerging. "About that..." Fleur began slightly nervously. "Wait...how are you talking?" She asked the beast with a frown. I am using telepathy, you ignorant child, it responded. Fleur's frown deepened. "Chilia, we need to kill this thing quick," she warned. It seemed something else was happening back at the pit.

The creature was so focused on Chilia and Fleur that it had forgotten about Chilia's wolf. It lurched forwards as the wolf punched it in the back of the head, hissing angrily. It response it spread it's remaining tentacles out straight horizontally. Then they began rotating extremely fast like helicopter blades until they were a blur of movement. Strangely, while the tentacles were moving, the head wasn't. Without further ado it came shooting forwards towards Chilia and Fleur. Fleur launched herself up into the air, dodging the tentacles, but she had forgotten about the ceiling. She smacked the top of her head against it before falling back down to the ground. "Oww..." she whined, rubbing her head.

As the three slashes came towards the creature, it tilted its tentacles upwards, slicing through two of the waves. The third one slipped through, hitting it in the side of the head(?). A spray of blood issued from the deep cut and the beast hissed again. It passed over Chilia, coming around for another pass. This time it flipped, coming vertically like a giant spinning wheel. Fleur fired several crystal shots at it but the tentacles bounced them off. "It's deflecting long-range attacks!" Warned Fleur as it came towards them.

"I KNOW that! I was just informing you, that's all!" Fleur replied angrily. When the wolf's attack hit the creature, it send it off-kilter. Rather than stopping it, it caused the creature to spin out of control, bouncing of the walls and floor like a pin ball as it whizzed randomly back and forth across the corridor, trying to hit them anywhere it could manage to steer itself. Fleur sent more crystal rockets towards it. Some found their mark, earning more hissing and burns. Unfortunately it accidentally caused the creature to move faster. It was bouncing back and forth across the hallway almost too fast for the eye to follow. "Ah!" cried Fleur, jumping backwards at the last minute as it sped past her. It came past her again, though this time she was a little too slow and one of the tentacles scraped against her arm, causing a long bloody gash to appear.

"How do we do that!?" Fleur asked, launching herself up in the air to avoid another pass, this time remembering the ceiling and stopping before she hit it. "I don't think even IT can stop itself from spinning!" It came straight at her this time, and Fleur folded her wings in front of her, creating a shield of light. She grit her teeth as the creature slammed against it, bouncing straight off and heading back towards Chilia. "Oops..." said Fleur as she unfolded her wings, not really seeming all that sorry about it. Die die DIE! The creature yelled in their heads as it came.
