Rep curled his lip in outright disgust at the way Jerry had been simpering the whole time. You got trodden on if you lay down and looked like a doormat and he wondered when the other man would finally realise this. He had no sympathy for him.
Melvin's defence of himself likewise was met with mercilessness and irritation. He was out to defend himself, but the bar fight hadn't started itself and this way it sounded like he'd ******** started it himself. If he'd started the fight, he'd have finished it, and he'd be on death row right now, if he'd wanted to he could have murdered every single person in that bar easily, like ******** tissue paper in a gale force wind. But the fact was he hadn't, and in his current sulk was almost regretting not doing something truly warranting the disproportionate blame he thought he was getting.
He followed the others at a slight distance like a predatory animal, torn between the instinct to go and do something to really spark s**t and watching Melvin get into an argument with someone Rep considered he probably couldn't handle.
"Goldiebitch, you might as well ******** leave it. Some people aren't ******** listening to reason today."

Melvin just turned about, opening his arms wide, and smiled. "********. I'm on cloud nine. You know what Jordan? That little project in helping people you were talking to me and Ro about yesterday. Yeah, you're going to be fine at it if this is how you work it." Melvin was far from fantastic. He wanted to drink again.
To Jerry, he just sighed. "Jerry just got arrested on the way coming to help us. He wasn't at the bar." On Rep's note, he just nodded. "Yeah. Good luck with that." He said, pointing to Jordan and started off again.

Jordan stiffened at the crack about listening to reason; some part of him was busy recognizing that he wasn't being reasonable or tactful, but that part was being easily overridden at the moment by the searing edge of anger. To pointedly ignored Rep and said sharply to Melvin, "Your project with inter-division bonds seems to be going swimmingly, though your choice of meeting places leaves a little to be desired."
The twist of guilt at being unreasonable knotted tighter at the agreement that Jerry actually hadn't been at fault. But it had been a natural assumption. He'd arrived to find Jerry in the same cell. It was just a mistake. A mistake that could have been avoided if he'd kept his temper under control and found out what actually happened. "Sorry, Jerry," he said after a moment, gritting it out through the frustration and fury, darting a look of apology at his friend.

Jordan's eyes jerked back to Rep, and he actually snarled, a low and wordless sound. Ferros's ring lit brilliant red.
Then he shook his head hard. "I'm done with this conversation," he said in a low, choked voice, and resumed the process of leaving.

"Aye, if you can't ******** win, just throw your rattle oot the pram." Rep snorted. "I'll just take that as a I'm ******** sorry Rep for yelling at you when this had nothing to do with you. I'll go back to bed."

Jerry doubled back, his face red at the sudden apology. He still looked exhausted and flustered, and desperately in need of a drink. His hands tightened on his guitar strap. "I can't help it people always seem to make assumptions." He grunted, before turning to walk away.
He had tried his best. He had been convicted simply for being JERRY by both the cops and his friend. Wonderful. It was getting later in the morning, not enough time to go back to bed although he desperately wanted to.
He turned back to Candace on his way back down the hall, his expression apologetic, "Thank you. I'll... I'll pay you back as soon as I can." So much for his savings.
That said, the man shuffled back toward his room to change and get ready for his duties.

"The meeting place was Rep's idea!" He said in a sweet, distant tone as Melvin heard the last crack by Jordan.

Rep watched Jordan go and narrowed his eyes decisively. He turned to eye Harrison but said nothing, an unspoken statement he'd catch up with him ******** you." he said to Melvin for his comment, before at a lazy but determined pace, he followed Jordan. No one just dismissed him like an errant child.

Al was left to stare in horror at the unfolding chaos of blame and unreasonableness being tossed about like a snowball fight of words. Despite listening rather intently, he still had no idea what the hell happened to start it all. All he knew was that blondish guy seemed to hate everyone. Especially Rep. Sadly he hadn't the balls to even consider defending the man before everything had already come to an end.
Al tucked tail and ran away before anyone noticed he was there.

Harrison seemed mostly confused.
He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"M'going to bed," he mumbled, and dug his hands back into his jacket pocket, and talking more to himself, "Should have agreed to 20% interest beforehand."
