Irzael was forced back into the wall as the ball of energy slammed against his paddleblade. His head throbbed for a few moments as he regained his composure. Ugh...How can we stop this thing?

The tattoos on Irzael's arms began to glow pale blue as he uttered a few incantations. The wind around him began to hum as his sword disappeared. Irzael thrust both hands ahead of him, unleashing two torrents of wind. He manipulated their directions so they snaked around him and came at Viceroy from his left and his back at a downward angle.

The last thing he had expected was for the viceroy to take off into the air. With all of his momentum going forward, well, Athan went sailing well past his intended target and straight into a light pole.

That had served to be a lesson for him, which had kept him out of the next volley of attacks. By the time Athan had fully recovered, he was turning around to gaze upon a pair of glowing orbs heading directly towards him.

Instinctual reflexes were far quicker than relying on his mind to get him through this, and so Athan did what any person would have done in his given situation.

His weight shifted to his right leg, muscles tensed tightly as he stared at the incoming projectiles. He had no way to fathom just how the orbs could track him, so he wasn't going to take any chances.

He waited until the very last moment before he pushed off both legs with as much strength as he could muster, sending his body to the right and well out of the way of the projectiles.

Before he could move on the Viceroy, an explosion littered the air with metal fragments. Some of which had enough range to imbed themselves in his right arm, sending a few streams of blood down the length of the appendage in the process, but for the most part, he was unharmed by the fragments.

By this point, he was separated from the Viceroy by a good fifteen yards. His jaw set, Athan focused on closing the distance between him and the Viceroy. He was useless outside of his sword's range.

Knives flashed out of Jacknife's general vacinity and flew through the air extremely quickly, each smacking directly into an orb. Leaving the third coming at him and nothing to block it with.

He dove to the side and, on the off chance that it would work, he attempted to grab the last orb with his mind and hurl it back at the Viceroy. If it did not work he may still be able to dodge it, he lept from his roll over the top of a small pile of rubble before crouching down behind it.

His knives would return to him behind the pile, they would simply fly over the top and back into their sheathes. They really did seem to take almost no concentration anymore. Thanks to Sir. Roxshoard, The Chafeless Knight.

Masuyu wore a smile on the inside of his helmet, thinking he was with air as the monster grappling his did not. After a moment, he realized he was wrong on both accounts. As the orbs punched out by the Viceroy crashed against the block of air around them, Masuyu realized only his helmet held breathable air. Judging by the lack of gasps coming from his sadistic friend, he had a pressurized suit, which Masuyu was about to blast a few holes into.

His palms, which were pushed against the inside surface of Gamma's armored elbows, would blast out with the cone like beams he'd tried to use on the boardwalk. Whether or not, it killed his opponent, he would no care. They would project only a few inches, enough bore holes into Gamma's armor and possibly his arm muscles. Either way, holes would be made and the air inside the monster's suit would become as rigid as it was in the block around them.

After that, he would be running dangerously low on air, possibly his last gasp. Carefully he'd try to generate a second barrier of air within the first, exclusive to the inside of his suit, allowing him to breathe. It woul be tricky, and he doubted it would last much longer than it would take to suffocate his opponent.

Unfortunaty for Jackknife, Masuyu and Gamma, the orbs were composed of metamagical "soul" energy. For jackknife it would be like trying to telekenitcly grasp onto someones soul and rip it from its path. Not exactly a task that can be done by brute strength alone.
For Gamma and Masuyu they would find the barrier did not entirely stop the energy. The energy was trying to strong arm its way through the barrier, attacking the magical bonds between the air molecules rather than the air itself. Masuyu spliting his resourses to make the beams were enough for the powerful metamagical orbs to begin to break the metamagical bonds. Slowly but surely the two orbs would hit the two men, knocking them both back if the Masuy getting hit was enough to break the concentration.

Now on to viceroy himself. There was another wall of flack and two gusts of wind from the behind. Only one thing to do. He used Allen's ability to accelerate to amazing speeds and combined it with the stream already in progress. He was flying forward faster than anyone would expect, and essentaly charged at Gammu, fast enough to dodge beside the invisble point the shell would explode at. Now, atempting this risky manuever was completly screwed with the blasts of wind and the fact he was using a gauss cannon rather than normal charges.

The wind violently pushed him into a positon where the cannon violently ripped up both of the wings, and that allowed some of the metal fragments to rip into flesh.

So a desperation tactic was needed. Using the power of last shot Viceroy used any last moment to fire forward like a spinning missile, chaoticly enhanced energy blade out front. Armour or not, if the sword impacted, Gammu's stomach would be impaled.

Stuck again. Gamma waited. Something was pressing against his arms, but that didn't make a difference.

Only to wait for the shield to be dropped and resume the suplex. And then some.

Irzael fell to one knee directly after loosing his attack, the wind drained from his body. He was panting heavily, but Irzael was very relieved to find out the Viceroy's attack had been directed at the armored man and not himself. Must...take deep...breaths.... Irzael slowed his breathing, taking deeper, more fulfilling breaths as he slowly rose from the ground. He was still fairly winded, but Irzael managed to summon his sword, position the broad side in front of himself, and begin to draw in air.

Alright, the person seemed preoccupied, gives Kit a little more time to perfect his huge illusion, this better at least help the cause a little bit. He focused at the leaf and began picturing a huge forest, the ground would be the same the ground would have lots of thick underbrush and tall hedges. The fountain would be intact, but the whole place was going to the trees by the time he was done.

And just when he was close enough to actually attack, the Viceroy was already spiralling away.

Chasing after him seemed to be a complete waste of time, and so Athan braced himself where the Viceroy had been standing only seconds earlier. The weapon was held at his side, the point of the weapon directed behind him.

From this point, it'd be extremely easy for Athan to react to anything thrown his way, without tossing himself into any danger concerning his allies' firepower.

Now all that was left was to wait.

"Damnit..." Masuyu thought to himself as the glow of the orbs reached his eyes. Taking a quick breathe, he'd drop the second barrier, focusing on the first. The air in the block would once again become solid and stop the orb. Once it dissipated, he'd be able to recreate the second barrier inside his suit and breathe again.

The heat from the blasts would easily be resisted by the biosuit, and Masuyu would feel none of it. But why hadn't the monster trying to kill him suffocated yet. It was starting to be a bother, but Masuyu would have to keep himself calm. Aslong as neither of them could move, he wouldn't be murdered by this thing.

((Yeah, I'm editting this because I'm tired of ******** around. I have no interest staying here for the rest of the event.))

Gamma squeezed again. Gaining leeway over the solid around him through shear power of his artificial muscles and will. Tighter and tigher, Gamma intended to crush Masuyu to death or until the internal bleeding caused him to black out and cancel the shield.

Soon, soon Masuyu's internal organs would rupture and release blood and other fluids into his system. With his body tilted back all of them would drift to his lungs, heart, and brain. Only a matter of time indeed.

((Now I'm going to preempt your complaints here. You CANNOT create indestructable solids. Why? Because it's not in your bio. Gamma CAN and is GOING to squeeze until you hemorrhage and black out or drop the shield, at which point you get suplexed.

Don't like it? Take it up with the judges. I hear the biggest pet peeve of theirs is using abilities not listed in the bio. You know, like making an indestructable solid at will? I'm sure the "No limits" fallacy wouldn't go in your favor either.))

The chaos happening in front of him, he kept focusing on his leaf. The illusion will have to have strong trees, particularly fireproof, it can't be burned down... Nor can the bushes catch fire nethier... Kit had a little problem with this, he just couldn't imagine a bush surrounded by fire not burning. The next thing on his list was to get the trees so durable that they won't be reduced to splinters by a artillary shot.

This was going to take a while. It is now.

Nascen turned himself out from around the corner he'd taken shelter at, cursing at all the luck that two of their allies were as intent on killing them. Y'know, of all the luck, this came now.

Nascen wipped the submachine gun back up over his shoulder, grabbing at is belt. Nascen ripped a grenade off his belt, pulling the pin and tossing it up into the air between himself and the spot where the Viceroy was currently diving. He brought one hand up as it came back down to his eye level, and slid about an inch backward as his palm held toward the grenade, his arm supported by the other hand holding his elbow put, emmitted a sizable PIS shot, which might move a few things between him and the target, or targets so long as this 'ally' had gone hostile and become a danger to his men, not to mention their goal and thus the world itself according to his logic, but more importantly it would cause the grenade to fly forward as if fired from a cannon.

Fired from a cannon to explode at the spot he'd aimed for, just in front of the landbound target to catch the Viceroy plummeting what appeared to be uncontrollably toward it, between the two of them just as they would have met had he let it go uninterrupted.

As the shockwave was what was moving the grenade, it wouldn't reach them before it. Rather, as it would accelerate the whole time the force was upon it, the grenade would probably be several fractions of a second ahead of the shockwave heading toward them when it came down to them. With the water of the fountain evaporated they wouldn't find cover in it spraying somehow either, and anything else it blasted was likely to be on the shockwave long enough to be more than on pace with the grenade.

((Gammu would have just blocked it (Sacrifice his shield to avoid the sword) and retreated. We were planning to head to Gambino.

But I'm still offline because I have to move s**t around the house for an hour or two.))
