Minerva sat back into her chair, a five month old "Reader's Digest" magazine on her lap.

*Laurel woke up in an unfamiliar place, the sound of "Don't Call Me Mama Anymore" in her ears* "Wha'? Wh-where's my clothes?" *She willed the Shadow Cloak to cover her. Only when she sat up did she notice the tough-looking blonde woman watching her*

Minerva tipped her chin, "I've got a standard uniform for you, apparently your clothes got sent to a different base for testing." She pointed to the uniform set up on one of the testing tables, along with some boots and a swiped ID card, to open doors. "Well, it doesn't look like any part of Hell I've seen, but it doesn't match any description of Heaven I've heard either. And somehow the name Peter doesn't seem to fit you." biggrin "I'm Laurel"

"I know," Minerva chuckled. "I'm Minerva, and I found you down here in a military base. It appears some people wanted to know the mysteries of a demon/werewolf hybrid. But before you get angry or vengeful, know all those people are dead now, along with a large part of the country."

"Nope, but you're in the right direction, more like an experiment gone wrong." Minerva shrugged, "we all knew it would happen eventually."

"I did indeed, if the military did one thing good, it was makin' tasty, reliable, meal plans." Minerva stood up, "You feel up to walking yet? Or should I just grab something from the kitchen?"
