Zero the Crimson Alex Trevell Zero the Crimson Alex Trevell Zero the Crimson Alex Trevell Yeah, Noivern could get a last minute tweak, bug types could get a couple sound type moves, Whismur and it's evo tree could get sound type added to them, and sure there's a few others. There's also Meloetta. I didn't play 4th or 5th gen games. Closest I got to 4th gen was Soul Silver, so I still saw a number of them at least. No Black/White eh? Well, they had a lot of nifty new guys. I heard, but just couldn't bring myself to get it. And then they came out with a 2, and I was like, Are you effing kidding me...? I actually want to get that one. It takes place after the events of Black and White, which intrigues me. I'm just gonna hold out until X and Y come out so I can get X and my friend gets Y so we can help each other out.

I'd need a 3DS first....then I would get X and my brother could get Y, then I could trade him Xernias and most likely never see it again....just like Reshiram.

Nothing significant, really. I just don't usually use the legendaries whereas my brother does.

Unless absolutely necessary to punch further through the story, but even then that happens so seldom. I like making my team out of non-legendaries, just has such a good feeling attached, winning against strong foes. I'll admit, some look really cool, but they're more a last resort, and I unless I get them in a random battle, I don't use them in competitive fights.

Being at usually high levels, they take a lot of the challenge out of the game at the point you usually get them. Plus, my starter is usually the only powerhouse I need. The only time I'd usually use the legendaries is when I'm taking a tiny pokemon into the elite four holding an expshare. Makes leveling them up a lot easier.

Think the only time I took legendaries into the elite four was red and silver. Soul silver, as well, since the level apparently rises after beating blue.

Well, you can't really blame anyone for the first games...they were relatively difficult...well that and their legendaries are awesome.

The three legendary birds were amazing, and followed the common trio of fire, ice, and lightning. It's also fun trying to decipher each pokemon's name, legendaries among those.

I felt bad about them though. I liked having Zapdos and Articuno, but I wasn't that much of a fan of Moltres.

I also try to follow the rule of one pokemon per type. Dual types sometimes bypass this rule, but rarely. And I try having each one know at least one move of their types, and a couple backups.

Well, I don't really have anything against fire types, but I just couldn't stand Moltres...that and as with you I used the 1 of each type deal and I liked having my Arcanine or Flareon, depending on the game. The first games were always the hardest on choosing a starter for me. It was always, Bulbasaur or Charmander? or Cyndaquil or Totadile? It was always a tough decision.

Typhlosion's been my favorite of the fire types. Fennekin looks cool, but we'll see how he stacks against my buddy Blaze. I'm really hoping for something other than Fire/Fighting, though. One time, cool. Two times, eh. 3 times, wtf?

I personally prefer Venasaur myself.

I personally prefer Venasaur myself. Doesn't make it weak, just losses its resistance to fire so it does normal. But it also gains a bit of defense against grass. And it learns metal claw, despite not having claws, or hands for that matter...I never really dealt with Venasaur. Never been much of a grass type lover, but I did love Lileep and I do love Leafeon. Also, my Leafeon has Sunny day and my Typhlosion has Solar beam.
