Victoria wanted this battle over quickly as the pokemon would haunch on her arm. It was a counter-attack as Victoria would throw her upwards hard and Aella would twist over in the air as she rolled like a ball until she reached the apex of the throw and dove. THe skin that made up her glider would be stretch thin as she rushes past her opponent ...the air behind her following as it formed a solid arching blade as she made it a point to try and cut the Axew with the move.
Neither one was interested in playing anymore ...as they both went straight for the throat with that move.

Like a blade made of steel the wind would slice in to the Axew's otherwise thick hide, forcing the Pokemon to close it's eyes as it winced in pain. The damage had been significant, and the little dragon would need time to recover, countering wasn't an option this round, but the pair were far from backing down. Lowering his body slightly Halberd held position, choosing to take whatever it was his opponent decided to throw at him!
The attack would hit it hard ....as the Emolga would skid for a few feet after the initial hit. Her tail would flick a bit ....as she twist fast on her own feet as she turns to see what sort of damage she had done.
It was significant, but it wasn't enough.
She would kick off from the ground ....as Victoria would make a quick slash with her arm.
"Use Quick attack."
Emolga wasn't willing to let it go at this moment as she charges forward. She had her tail left out straight as she rushes forward her head down and her shoulder was aimed at the pokemon's side. She was going to try and crack his ribs this time.

The second attack wouldn't go as well as the first, and that is where the dragon trainer would see their chance. For the first time he would speak, his voice a rich yet serene tenor, though he remained a man of few words "Assurance." Once word however was all he needed as Halberd rose up, black mist building around his body, draining the pain briefly from his wounds, copying it, intensifying it. Lowering his head slightly the Axew would charge forward, intending to deliver back double what he had received!
The girl almost cursed at the missed attack as the pokemon would continue forward ....as the Emolga would jump at her. The attack had missed, and Aella know exactly the best sort of a defense ..to make herself less of a target as she lands on her arm.
The girl would throw her arm upwards as she set the pokemon upwards into the air. The Emolga would float on the wind as she spiral higher and higher as she caught a updraft and tried to rise into the sky.
Her tail would be fan out behind her.

The defence was a good one, though it contained one major flaw. Though it took Aella far and away from the attack, it put Victoria right in the crosshairs! Caught in his own momentum from following the Emolga, the Axew would have to put all it's tremendous strength to work in order to stop itself from bowling the girl over! Tusks inches away from the girl's legs the Axew would manage to pull back, looking up and glaring at his opponent. There were ways to deal with flyers though...plenty of ways.
For the moment however Halberd would dart away from Victoria, placing his back to the wall and facing Aella. He wasn't about to make this easy!
She had never tried this before ...neither of them had ....quick attack was always a move for the ground. Though this time ....as Victoria saw that she was in risk even though Aella was safe from the attack ....the Emolga had reacted. She was fast ...fast as hell ...., but it was over by the time she had seen it. Yet, she couldn't stop her reaction, she couldn't stop her movements as the Axew would gain some distances and turn around to defend himself. He would turn with the thought that he would be seeing his opponent coming, but ....that wasn't what was going to happen.
She had reacted upon his first movement. She had drop pin her arms against her side ...she had allowed herself to plummet and actually help accelerate her speed she had started to spin her tail behind her like a propel blade ....she was a missile.
He would turn expected to see her coming ....he would turn right into her ...as she drop her shoulder and came at him with the full speed of her plummet behind her.
She was going to literally ram into him with a move that can only be called a combination of a dive and attack ....an attack made so much quicker than the the one she does on the ground. Though whether or not ....he would react fast enough to avoid, whether or not, this attack had any sort of accuracy at all ...was about to be seen as she gave an all or nothing dive at her opponent.

The move was swift enough to be certain, but it lacked the power of the Emolga's previous attack...and came with a potentially fatal flaw. Aella had gotten close, her body slamming in to Halberd and forcing him against the wall. His scales were better at handling such physical blows, but noticeable cracks had appeared in his right tusk. Yet that would only fuel his attack. Within seconds the cracks would become more pronounced, turning a glowing blackish purple as he prepared to share the pain. "Assurance" The one word the dragon had wanted to hear. Muscles tensing the Axew would quite literally throw himself at Aella. So close to him, would she be able to escape a second time?
Victoria would comment as if it was nothing. She would merely wave her hand once in the air.
"Use Thundershock."
Aella didn't need to run away, she didn't need to go anywhere. As the pokemon leap for her ...her entire body would be charged with electricity as she let it flare outwards at her inclose opponent.
The Emolga was good at close and far away battle. She was well balance, and she was sharing her balance at that moment with the Axew.

(4 - 2) + (23 - 14 ) = 11/2 = 5.5 (round) 6 DMG
Yet it was clear Victoria had made a mistake within moments of her command. Electricity rippled and danced across the Axew's scales...but he was a dragon type of purest blood, such attacks wouldn't be so effective against him! With a high pitched roar the Axew would flex his muscles, shrugging off the attack and the damage it had caused him...however the fight was taking a heavy toll on his body, and it didn't take a Pokemon Master to see that!
Without a word the Pokemon's trainer would recall the Axew, they had lost, and this part of the match was forfeit. As if to make a point of this Halberd's ball would be placed across the room, out of reach once he returned to his original position. This segment of the battle was over...but the battle itself was still raging!
[AELLA GAINED 260 EXP!]
Grabbing at his belt the Dragon Master would release his second Pokemon, and it would become immediately clear this would be a much tougher fight! With rough prickly skin, a head like a rose and teeth like thorns, there was only one dragon this could be....Druddigon!
"Fire Fang" Their opponent didn't hesitate for an instant. The moment Victoria had stepped in to this room it had become a battlefield, and they were going to play hardball right from the gate!
Aella was tried ...but she smirked as the dragon was recalled. They didn't want another death, just victory ....as her tail would flare behind her once. She would stand on her tiptoe ....as the dragon came at her ...flames were in his maw.
"Jump up ...use the heat from his passing to fly again....."
Victoria would declare loudly. Yes, there was a chance to attack him then and there ...but they needed to gain space to make it work. As that head would come below her ...Aella knew the command even as Victoria would shout it at her.
"USe Air Slash."
This one was less likely to be as powerful as her normal one. Not a dive, not a charge, she would flip only once she was clear of that maw to send the attack downwards at the back of his head.
They couldn't afford to get caught in that flaming jaws. It wasn't a joke, but a dragon type pokemon of his size and girth wasn't anything to sneeze at ....as the Emolga mde her move as well.

Despite their belief the attack would be near devastating, the Druddigon flinching more from shock than pain, though there had been plenty of the later as well.
The attack would slice into him and push her higher ...higher into the air ...higher up. The pokemon would almost do a wing over at that moment as she smirk at the damage, but it wasn't enough. The pokemon was hurt, but it was still on it's feet as Victoria would shout out loudly.
"Don't stop ..use it again, Air Slash."
The Emolga was tired, but she would response with another hard flip in the air ...her tail sending the arc of wind down and this time ...its aim would be the pokemon's back. They were going to continuously pepper this pokemon with attacks. More ..more until it drops.
That was their goal as she calls out loudly to her partner.
"Let's show them who is stronger."
(We are stronger)
Aella declares in twin with her partner.

Contrary to the Emolga's belief however the Airslash would come up short, falling apart as the rozen dragon swept an arm through the blade of air. Growling in a fashion which would make a Primeape quiver, the dragon then turned his attention to Aella. Eyes narrowed, nostrils flares, and for the briefest moment it looked like the Druddigon was licking his chops. Unlike the Axew before him this dragon wouldn't patiently await his trainer's command. Instead his jaws would fly open, wings flapping as he kicked off the ground. Druddigon weren't capable of true flight, but in a room this size there was only so far Aella could go, and with a wing aided jump would she be able to avoid this Bite!?
Avoidance wasn't a problem ...Victoria had saw how easily her attack had been torn apart. Aella was tired, she had attacked ...attacked, and attacked again. She was reaching the end of her stamina, and Victoria knew she should have had her dodge. She should have taken some sort of a rest, but she was going to press it even further.
They needed to end this quickly.
"Give it another go ...counter attack with Air Slash."
With the pokemon's maw open and coming at her ...Aella saw this was the perfect place to attack, she would aim for his throat. She would fire the blade of wind straight downwards as she once again used Air Slash.
