((Thanks! I wasn't sure if you had a guy in mind, but this could be good. Also, looks like our fourth-wall shattering smartass has a few tricks up his sleeve as well.))
C.J. sneered as he held his hands up and some glowing energy started between them, taking the form of a double-barreled shotgun, cocking it, he spun it and landed it, ready to fire as he let out a chuckle.
"Grant ain't gonna be the only one to have a hole in 'im unless I start getting some names." he drawled. I SERIOUSLY gotta thank Merida for showing me this neat-o little trick! he thought as he braced himself. Six against one. The odds were never better.
"Damn! I took a level up in BADASS the past few years!"
This also explains why this place CLOSED, you idiot!
((Well s**t, nobody's perfect!))

Those who had come to simply eat a nice dinner began to panic and made a beeline for the door. The woman in the black suit sighed heavily as she stared at the gun. "We do not want a confrontation. Let alone the body count you provided at Fisk Towers. Or so we were told. However, we cannot reveal our employers name, or his intentions. Should there be an audible confrontation here, miss Gallay shall be deported regardless of your saftey or ours." she said.
There were several clicks from the other side of the room. Another group of men had been seated at the far corner of the restaurant. Gray suits this time. All now standing with their guns drawn.

C.J. smirked. "Hell, STILL mad over Fisk Towers? That was the most fun I had with my clothes on!" he smirked as he heard the guns click. Great, a Mexican Standoff in a Mexican Restaurant. And NONE of us are Mexican! he thought as he sneered. "You leave her out of this, or y'all gonna need a few friends to carry the caskets." he growled before pointing it POINT BLANK an inch from her face.
"Now last shot before you got a date with Eternity. WHO. ARE. YOU. WORKING. FOR?" he asked. "And if the suits behind me dare to open fire, I open fire regardless of an answer. So stand down. Trust me. Waving those jackass little popguns didn't do any good at Fisk's joint either!"
Holy s**t, are we having an Arell moment?
((Nah, this ain't Arell. Arell woulda done this with a Rocket Launcher.))
"Hey, do you mind?! Seriously!"

The woman didn't so much as flinch as the gun was aimed at her face. It wasn't the first time, and it hopefully wouldn't be the last. Not that it mattered if it was. Her organization for hire was paid to be expendable if need be.
"Considering what you did to Fisk, you can understand why our employer wants no names given." she replied calmly.
"Oh for hell's sake, it's not worth THAT much money."] the same man growled.
"Shut it, idiot." another man hissed.
The woman thought for a moment, then sighed. "He's right though." she said, then motioned towards one of the men in the back corner. He hesitated, then lowered his gun and pulled out his phone. The woman answered CJ as he did so.
"Blackstone. We were hired by a Mister Blackstone to come here once the signal was activated. Letting us know our target was here."

"That was a WARNING." he growled as he lowered the gun before it vanished into thin air. "I'm no target honey . . . targets don't shoot back . . . and trust me. I do. I was one of six that defeated the hell out of an ARMY. Just had me a flashback." he growled as he rolled his eyes. "Little Rude of Blackstone to use my favorite Mexican Restaurant as bait for a trap though. Poor form." he growled.

"Oh, you weren't the target. Miss Gallay was. You were simply the reason we stayed here for the last... three hours." she said, looking at her watch. "She has been rather uncooperative about leaving. Bringing you with us would have ensured her cooperation. Or at least, that you wouldn't be trying to rescue her. As you have several times now, from what I've heard."

"Riiiight, that wormhole popped me back here three years ago, didn't it? Let's see here . . . how'd I get Mist' and I outta this one again?" he asked aloud, not worrying about the whole "resistance is futile" drek. He pondered more on the situation. Well, back then he didn't learn Voodoo and Magic, SO this meant he actually used his wits to get out of this . . .
And the revolver he had wasn't all that bad to have either!
Now came the tricky part. How to replicate EVERYTHING that happened until the ACTUAL C.J. from THIS time could make it back to where he was and he could get back to Merida!!
"We never DID get most of what happened in this spot, did we?"
((Well, sorta. Remember the Arkham RP?))
Yeah! That was kinda dramatic! I almost hired out to be Vice's conscience!
((That's part of it.))
"So was it really Savage or Fisk that we whacked?"
I have NO idea.
((Me neither. Now start thinking. How'd we get outta this?!))

The woman arched her brow at the man. "Right. Well, we need to be moving out. I guarantee that someone has called the police. We would prefer to avoid a confrontation with the police if possible." she said, then motioned back towards the two groups of men.
"Considering your recent history with our target, I'm sure you're not about to just let us leave with her. So, we need you to come with us as well." she added, looking back at CJ.

Cops? Hmm . . . let's see. If I remember correctly, there's gonna be a roadblock on Smith and 33rd for construction. Over by the gas station. If I remember correctly, I think I escaped then. Wait. Or was it OLSON and 44th at the red light? s**t! Think, Benoit! Don't wanna mess up the timeframe! he thought as he smirked.
"If you can assure me she's safe, I'll come. Otherwise you miiiight not like the result." he quipped.
Yeah, that sounds a lot like something I'd say back then. Okay, play it cool. Remember. We gotta get it 100% like how we did it! he thought. No pressure or anything!!

"We were paid to make sure she was transported unharmed." The woman replied. "So long as neither she, nor you, give us reason to harm you, no harm will befall her."

"You saw how well that happened at Fisk's. You REALLY wanna take that shot? Let's just say the kid you got this time and I had a little mix-up . . . and I know how this one ends." C.J. replied. Surely if he could just remember HOW he did it originally, he'd be able to keep the time-frame solidified! But how did he EXACTLY?! One errant twitch, one move done at the wrong moment could turn the whole damn time scheme upside down. Of course, admitting that this was the WRONG C.J. could have set something off as well!

"Provided you give us no reason to force anything, this should end just fine." the woman said, then motioned for him to follow her. The group of men in black suits stood and moved towards them. The men in the gray suits walked up to them and stood on the other side. Successfully blocking any means of access around them. "We'll be leaving out the back. No need to make a scene out front. There will be a van waiting. I will enter the back first, and then you will follow in behind me." she said, then began moving down the aisle. The men leading or following her out. Giving CJ no choice other than to follow.

C.J. smirked as he followed along. Let's see. Six of them behind. Grey suits. They're armed and behind me. The black suits are up with the woman. Let's see how good our odds are. Just play it cool. he thought. Then he realized he didn't even have a GUN when he pulled this caper. It was still in the jet that was double-parked at the beach lot! This complicated things a LOT.
That's when it hit him. It wasn't EITHER. He didn't even meet Blackstone this time around. He met that a*****e when he accidentally stumbled upon his and Misty's wedding after he got out of the clink! Okay, just gotta hold on 'til they get to the Pig and Whistle. Third and Harvard. There's a police roadblock for an overturned semi truck of pool water jack-knifed and took up all the lanes before overturning. We used that cue to scram! he thought. He'd have to remember how he got to Misty and got her outta there in one piece though. THAT was a horse of a different color!

The hired help, unfortunately, wasn't stupid enough to transport both CJ and Misty in the same vehicle. There was a van waiting out back for CJ and the others, but there was another, slightly larger black van parked behind it. One that seemed to be having a bit of a heated conversation inside.
The woman motioned for CJ to follow her to the smaller van, then climbed inside. "Come now. The sooner we get the both of you to the secure location, the sooner you can see each other."

Yup, that's Misty alright . . . now to actually act like I'm NOT somewhat furious with her. Damn . . . this is gonna be awkward if I still can pull this off! C.J. thought as he piled in. All he had to do was wait for the right time . . . and that part made everything!!
