XSK BlackStreak Kuro gently nudged Embers side trying to brighten the mood. "We've all lost loved ones." He glanced at his brother and frost for a sec then back at ember. "You're among friends now. There is no need to fear anymore. We've only just begun to know each other and yet we all have a bond that connects us. Good or bad, we're a family and in this crazy world There's only few who you can trust. If not your kin then who..." He paused there and said no more. Lifting his head high, a swish of his tail signaled for her to follow him back to camp as he padded over and down the hill.
Streak's eyes widened at Frost's words, few yet understandable. He paused and thought for a minute and pieced together hollow meaning of individual words before seeking connections between two or more. Phrases began to form in his mind to discover her plea. He could see her getting a bit flustered so he gently nuzzled her neck to let her know it was ok and that he was beginning to understand. "Good, friend... I.... see.... what..... you.....mean...... " speaking slowly he hoped some of his words got through. Along with those words he gestured with nodding, understanding whines and lowered body posture allowing her to lead. It was easy to understand the cry of hunger and pain but unfortunately his tired mind couldn't quite come up with the answer for a tree head. regardless he'd know once he laid his eyes upon it. She had nearly frozen in fear at his approach and flinched at his touch, but there was no maliciousness in his actions. Frostridge forced herself to relax, grimacing inwardly at her barely contained instinct to draw her blade once more on this new comrade- She was still so un-used to wolf customs. As she watched with curiosity at his motions, she tried to decipher his pantomiming. He hadn't followed his brother- could it be he had actually understood? Giving a nod, a very human-like gesture of affirmation, she limped off a few feet in the direction of the scraggy mountains. She wondered why he did not go bring others to this impromptu hunt- Was he so confident in his abilities? She could barely stand as it was, her vision blurring once more before her eyes, yet her willpower forcing her onwards. Frostridge stopped a moment, checking over her shoulder to see if she was being truly followed.

Watching from the tree branch gave Scarlett a good veiw of the sperated pack groups. As the human smelling wolf began to limp off with the streaked one Scarlett became curious. Looks like their trying to sneak off, wander what he's planning, Scarlett thought to her self. As a sleak smile curled the corners of her lips she moved. Off the branch and onto the ground she made little to no sound. The house pet would notice due to she landed so close to him their fur touched. Legs bilt for running she cought up to the wandering wolves quickly. She hung back from the group but was clearly there and fallowing them. She spoke no words to the group, just moved along behind them.

Streak smiled at Bullets arrival just as he began following Frost. He didn't want to be rude and step out of line to tell his alpha female to go back. There was no choice. " Hey Bullet! If I understood correctly, she's found food! A t-tree head, I believe is the term she used. You're free to tag along if you wish my alpha!" He caught up to Frost's rear with a assuring yip, letting her know he'd have followed.
Kuro's fur stood and he smiled as his mate brushed by. As she continued walking he noticed her beginning to follow Streak and the white female. Curiosity ebbed underneath his skin but he resisted as he laid wearily on the ground. He know he could trust them to keep each other safe. Glancing towards Ember a friendly grin grew across his maw. "Thank you Ember. I'll keep that in mind. Feel free to get some rest. I can assume this day has been as eventful for you as it is to me." He rested his head in his paws and his eyes slowly slipped close as he fell into a gentle slumber.

Ember obeyed silently at laid down, "Yes it has been a long day for me, I traveled very far once I found the faint smell of your pack. I went without food for many days just to find you." She looked down at Kuro and noticed that he was asleep, smiling she too realized that her eyes were heavy, and she too laid her head for sleep. The sound of Kuro's breathing, and of the others talking nearby, slowly faded away as she welcomed the darkness of sleep.

Bullet nodded to Streak and fallowed behind. What in the world was a tree-head? Bullet would find out soon. She looked back to the rest of the pack, Kuro would make sure nothing happened to them. The spotted one was fallowing them, weird. Still Bullet nodded to the larger female to let her know she could catch up and travel with them instead of so far behind them.

He rested his head in his paws and his eyes slowly slipped close as he fell into a gentle slumber. So, their little band had swelled to three- no four; her eyes narrowed as she caught a flash of white fur, similar to her own. The strange, two-tailed wolf moved in a way that offered she wanted to be seen, but not approached, which suited Frostridge just fine- Something about this elegant creature disagreed with her immensely. Her eyes fell on her two close companions, who watched her with expectant eyes. Still, she was quietly grateful that these two had chosen to go with her- she felt slightly less nervous in their presence, more assured they wouldn't attack her the moment her back was turned. Their progress was slow as she lead them; her steps faltering as her strength sapped away as she stumbled forward. Still, the treeline once again ebbed away, leaving open wasteland, the mountain crags looming ever more steep and unwelcoming. The rugged terrain once more swelled upward as she picked her way carefully and tiredly among the spires of rock and the narrow gullies shaped by water long gone, her memory as her guide. Their was no trace or scent of the long, silvery green grass; and some part of her wondered if it really had been all a mirage- But no, she suddenly found herself faced with the tiny, narrow gap in between the walls of solid oppressive rock, and she squirmed through the dark tunnel with some difficulty- Once more, the tall grass, the shimmering lake glistened in the slowly rising sun, the strange white barked trees with their grey- green leaves here and there- She sat for a moment to take it in, waiting for her comrades.

Bullet hesitated at the small gap of rocks. Was this really such a good idea? A quick look over her shoulder to spots and Streak to make sure they were still there. Being the smallest of the group did have its advantages sometimes. Bullet easily slipped through the opening. Once she was through she was shocked by the sight. "Is this real? Am I really seeing this?" Bullet couldn't believe what she was seeing. Stepping away from the opening so Streak and Scarlett could pass through Bullet waited to see if they saw this too.

Scarlett stood back as the females passed through a pin hole in the rocks. What the hell are they thinking? They could, oh I don't know, get trapped in there. A cold thought, but the male had still not passed through yet. Scarlett moved up to wait by the opening, she would fallow the male through. She didn't think they would fit but the two were close to the same size. If he can fit, then she would be able to make it through as well.

Bad Blood - Bullet Bullet hesitated at the small gap of rocks. Was this really such a good idea? A quick look over her shoulder to spots and Streak to make sure they were still there. Being the smallest of the group did have its advantages sometimes. Bullet easily slipped through the opening. Once she was through she was shocked by the sight. "Is this real? Frostridge seemed lost in her own head as she rested her aching body, the rest of her ragtag group squirmed through the tiny entrance. Long, grey-green grass swept gently almost up to her shoulders in patches here and there among the arid ground; the strange trees with bark like scuffed white paper unlike the black, dead woods behind them stood like ghostly figures.Their delicate branches upraised with the beginnings of tiny silvery leaves were dotted here and there among the gentle sloping hills with the occasional large rock or dried thicket or bush. The lay of the terrain dipped down towards the huge, glimmering lake at the far end, lined with cool white sand. The entire valley was shrouded on three sides by the sheer cliff faces of the mountain range, a impenetrable fortress of stone protecting its silver treasure. The fourth wall was a high slope of jagged rock, which petered off into the distant wastelands stretching beyond... Even though she had been here once before, she was still captivated by the beautiful, untouched land, a glimmering shimmer of hope and life after all the ruined and empty lands around it- There was movement down past a grove of trees and she was already up on her feet, a soft growl of apprehension in her throat. Something big, covered in dark shaggy fur emerged and she felt the rise of fear within her as a crown of bony branches emerged from the thicket; flashes of old memories, of glowing eyes and tentacle like appendages writhing from the bony snout, being thrashed about among those cruel horns- the sharp death-dealing hooves on deceptively thin legs as the Altered tried to crush her skull- In her fear, she hadn't noticed how she had been backing up towards where she had come in from. Surely, this had been a mistake- She forced herself to calm down as she eyed the monster; it shuffled nose down in the grass, completely unaware of their presence- The wind was blowing in her face, keeping their scent from reaching it. They could still escape without being noticed. With slightly fearful eyes, she glanced at her companions. " Tree-head." she murmured, every weary muscle within her tense, as she looked between them and the large creature further down away from them.

Crescent noticed a group forming to go out to hunt, not long after Spot jumped down to his side and ran off after them. He thought about going, but noticed there were enough of them to protect each other. He would stay here with Kuro and watch over the others who were still here. Besides that, there wasn't much to look out for. (Ah... sorry I haven't been on, I went to sleep at 10PM my time because I've been staying up all night since I was off college, and two days ago I didn't sleep at all so I could try and flip my sleeping schedule around so it fitted with college, I also have writers block now. :I)

Awakened by a surprisingly warmth-filled liquid, Subliminal stayed put as he figured the pup had just urinated on his fores. Peering down at the lithe figure, Subliminal would growl, slowly slipping his paws right from under Loki in hopes to not wake him. "Perfect.." He'd muttered silently as his once spruced up pelt was now dampened.
Allowing himself a vigorous quiver to rid himself of the debri, he maundered outside the crevace in search of a place to bathe. Smirking solemnly, the wind around the brute was distorted giving him leverage of was resources laid around the two.
Nares came across an adolescent rat and a few puddles of water laying near. Looking back at the pup he called out in hopes to wake the fledgling so they can get moving toward the pack from earlier where he'd be able to leave him but once again became startled when the pup had already made its' way near. "You really have to stop doing that.. Come on.. We have to get moving.. Any longer and i'm afraid i'll be having you for dinner." He cracked at the poorly made joke but nuzzled Loki in consolement, "Just kidding.."
Chasms sacaded briefly, observing Loki as he persisted to advance.
Without any further dialogue, he'd begin his journey back toward the mass of wolves, relying on a well-known scent of his once comrade(Scarlett) whilst Loki unecissarily hopped over small boughs and gravel in some sort of gaming fashion.

Still stunned at the sight Bullet's mind barely registered the strange wolf's words. After a moment she understood. The elk, or very large deer. There was a whole heard here! A spark of hope lit inside Bullet, they could survive, they could make this work.
Bullet touched her nose to the wolf's side, she seemed to be scared of the elk. "It's okay, we will protect you now"
She turned to Streak and Scarlett "Should we bring the pack here and make this our home? Or should we leave this place and only take the meat that we need?" Bullet sat down, the grass was so tall only the tips of her black ears peaked over the blades. Bullet was nervous about bringing the whole pack here. What if one day they wake up and all the elks have been killed? What if they destroy this last string of hope. Bullet sighed and wish she hadn't thought that.
Bullet would save this place, she would keep it as her string of hope. "We take what we need for now. If there comes a time that we have nowhere else to go we will have this as a safe place for the pack." Bullet spoke with a commanding tone, the others would not know where this place was. Just the four of them. Bullet looked to the white wolf "You rest" over her shoulder to the others "Come on, let go catch us an elk"

All this touching was making Frostridge very uncomfortable- Any sort of physical contact she had had before usually meant pain was sure to follow and she found she kept having to reign in her instinct to strike back. This was most likely just what wolves naturally did. Red-fur's words were comforting and mellow to her ears, if not for the fact she had no idea what she was saying. She forced herself to relax once more, but when Red began to move forward, urging her comrades to follow her, she felt her fear spike up once more.
Again the images of ferocious battles past made her struggle to communicate- "Fear. Dangerous! Tree-Head." her words flew with a warning tone, her eyes sparking with anxiousness. How could she imprint on them just how dangerous they could be?....
She was suprised by her genuine concern for the small female's well being, but brushed it off as mere duty to her new commander. She gazed at her intently.

Bullet stopped in her tracks, she knew the animals could be dangerous but she knew streaks strength and felt the other female would help in order to get food. she looked again at the animals, they seemed normal, not like the strange bear from before. "they are food.... prey" Bullet wasn't sure if there was something wrong, would the wolf be able to tell them if there was? Sniffing the air she found no trace of sickness in the creatures. Maybe she never hunted something this large before. Bullet waited for the others to catch up.
