If I were to break probation he's given me, he would either return again himself or send my sisters out here in the blink of an eye just to make whatever little I took be used just as quickly in order for me to heal. The less blood in my system, the less control over myself I have. I'd rather die myself than to lose control over my bloodlust and kill you... He knows the less obedient side of me and how much it terrifies others, himself and you included. It wasn't like I intentionally chose to be so cold and calculating, but even when I was an elf people ran away from me. My mother offered my father the idea of a kill switch in my head that would contain that side and he thought it'd be a better idea as obedience wouldn't quite be as difficult to beat into my head then. Unfortunately, he found he had to keep hitting that switch to keep my darker side contained. Tell me, would you prefer I break probation and kill my family so they can no longer hit that switch and eventually let that darker side out or that I obey probation so you won't have to see the true meaning of a bloodbath?" Lurtz sighed lightly while staring down at his hands and a faint scar that was pretty small on the back of it. Of course he'd been debating killing them off for some time although he was unsure about his mother, but he was still worried over how people would react to him no longer having that constant obedience. Would they still be as scared of his dark side like Dragon had been over him barely even doing anything to five men who thought they were being smart?

"But..." Knowing full well that any argument he tried to use would be pointless, Dragon looked down, defeated and humiliated. "It isn't fair." he mumbled. Lurtz went through what must've been like starvation to keep himself from hurting his family which in turn did nothing but abuse him. Although harming them sounded so right, even he knew that was a bad idea. Dragon hated his own family as much as possible, but he would never want them to die, and that must've been how Lurtz felt.
"You... You can't just make me sit and watch you starve!" he suddenly spouted and looked back at Lurtz pleadingly. "Isn't there anything we can do?"

Running away only leads to fledgelings and my sisters hunting me down while harming anyone in their way. Breaking his rules only causes more scars, longer probation periods and innocent bystanders to get hurt... My choices are limited based on my conscience not wanting to drag innocent people into my problems and not wanting him to hurt the only person in my family who ever showed even the slightest bit of care for me whether I was an elf or a vampire... In order for me to kill him, I'd have to get through his fledgelings and my sisters in which I'd need more energy to be able to do. In order to have more energy, I'd need to break probation and rest. It's not like I haven't been contemplating killing him beforehand, but rather, I was never sure he'd use my mother to keep me from killing him or if she would try protecting him out of love... I'm still unsure of how I'd feel if she was killed since she wasn't completely heartless when she had me seeing as she convinced my dad not to kill me then," the vampire murmured lowly while tapping his middle finger against his inner leg. He didn't like being so brutally honest in such a negative fashion, but positivity didn't really coincide with anything dealing with his father. At least when you were the only son who just so happened to be the only child birthed as an elf by an elven woman to a vampiric nobleman did positive energy just seemed to die. Why couldn't he have been born a vampire like his sisters? Why was he the only one who ended up as an elf out of twelve children?

"I-I could help you!" Dragon spouted. "I'm not entirely weak! I could help you fight! M-Maybe Adrian could help, I could talk to him..." He drifted off and let out a sigh again. He hated this. He hated seeing Lurtz so hungry and in pain while he wasn't able to do anything to help him, although he knew he couldn't exactly help Lurtz kill his own father. He wasn't sure he could kill anyone in general. His eyes gave him an entire arsenal, but he couldn't use them for too long, then there was the Wendigo form and...

As for Adrian, he's going to be on a honeymoon and it wouldn't be right asking a newlywed man, whether he's one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse or not, for help with family issues. Besides, I thought you wanted nothing to do with your mother and step-father," Lurtz responded with a soft sigh while briefly rubbing an eye. After a light yawn, he closed his eyes while leaning his head back against the couch. Stupid reset button in his head draining so much energy. Raising his hand slightly and reaching over, the vampire gently patted the Wendigo's knee and gave him a flicker of a half-smile. "It's alright. I'll sleep like the dead once I do fall asleep and I won't feel much of anything... That's why I was going to let you have free reign of the place once I did go to sleep. Doubt the school would miss me much for a little while if I did sleep this off a bit... And you could wake me up during the times you're awake so you aren't bored... You're a good friend for worrying about me."

Dragon kept frowning, but only resembled a still upset child at worst. It's true that he didn't want to have anything to do with his parents, but if they could help Lurtz then he would suck up his pride and talk to them. He glumly took another sip of his milkshake and looked down. "When will you go to sleep?" he asked, feeling Lurtz's yawn spread to him.

I wanted to be sure you didn't need anything before I did fall asleep or fall asleep while you're still active. I wouldn't be a good host much less friend if I did that. At least the tea will lessen that feeling of dehydrating hunger when I wake up after all," Lurtz answered honestly while sitting up straight again and taking a larger gulp of tea than the sips he'd been taking. Giving another soft yawn, he turned slightly towards Dragon and set his cheek against the couch like it was a pillow, his icy blue eyes now opened halfway. "It might take you a few times to wake me up just so you know. After I get reset and end up falling asleep, I go into such a deep sleep that my mother says I enter a catatonic sleep nearing that of a coma. I also get more vulnerable to sunlight so I'll probably be asleep in my closet or under my bed in order to avoid the sun. If being vocal doesn't wake me, feel free to try using the sun or just slap me a couple times. I'm not sure what'll really wake me up from that deep of a sleep. Alright?"

The young man nodded while drinking his milkshake, his eyes turning white and a tiny blush showing on his face. He couldn't imagine himself slapping Lurtz awake, and he couldn't think of why anyone would want to be slapped awake! "How long will you be asleep?" Dragon asked, nearly draining his glass. It would be awkward having the place to himself for a while. He'd most likely stay on the couch and get used to what a television was.

I've never had undisturbed sleep past the regular six hours given except for the one time my dad left me at home with two of the help, one of both gender, while he went to have some meeting with the other nobleman. Apparently, I slept for four days straight before my sisters attacked me. The help ended up getting fed to the hellhounds in the backyard for failing to wake me up during the time my family was out. I was still tired, but didn't intend to argue with anyone at that time since defending myself from eleven older sisters wasn't really an option," Lurtz responded with a slight raise of one shoulder in a half-shrug after some deliberation. He wasn't quite sure how long he could sleep if given the chance, but he knew it could be longer than just a few hours over the regular "healthy" amount of hours supposed to be spent sleeping. Taking another large gulp of his tea and swallowing, nearly emptying his glass, he lightly poked the darker haired male on the leg. "Anything you have to do to wake me up, Dragon. I don't want you to feel alone just 'cause I can't wake up on my own after these resets."

Days of solitude, what could he possibly do? Dragon swept the area with his brightening eyes, taking in the enormity of it all. He wouldn't wake Lurtz for his own selfish reasons, he wanted him to get as much rest as possible. With this entire place to himself he wasn't sure what he could do other than watch TV. There were a few bookshelves, he could try to read a few of those books, but there were still plenty of words he had trouble deciphering. Maybe he could learn to make his own milkshakes?
Dragon looked back at Lurtz when he mentioned his sisters attacking, pursing his lips. Why would they bother him? He made a silent vow that he would try to keep them from disturbing Lurtz, but how he would do it quietly was the real question.
Feeling the tap on his knee, Dragon gave the blue-haired man a tiny smile. "As long as I know you're here I won't be alone." he smiled.

Try not destroying the kitchen while I'm asleep, phone's over there with emergency numbers and some of the local restaurants and cafes... My wallet is in the table by the front door should you need to pay anyone for something and I'll be in the room to the left of the bathroom... You can even change up the decor of the apartment if you want. I just didn't feel like going all-out on a color scheme when I moved in. Sleep well, mon ami, and I'll see you soon," Lurtz smiled lightly before ruffling the boy's hair playfully. Taking that last swig of tea, he took his glass back into the kitchen and rinsed it off before heading into his room. Instead of shutting the door to his bedroom, he left it open and curled up in the cool darkness of his bedroom closet. It took no time whatsoever for him to fall into that deep dreamless slumber once he'd curled up into a comfortable position in the corner of the closet although he still felt bad for having gone off to bed so early in the night and leaving Dragon to his own devices.

And now he was alone. Dragon looked around and tapped his knees alternately trying to occupy himself with the simple motion. Eventually he grew bored of that, too, and got up. He took a moment to stretch and made a face when he heard a few bones pop. His body relaxing, Dragon looked down at his near empty milkshake glass and picked it up, his green eyes going to the kitchen and the spot he saw Lurtz at. As he poured out the last of the milkshake into the sink, Dragon gazed down at the center and tried to think of what it was. He reached out and turned the knob, watching the water carry the milkshake remnants to the drain. Where did the drain even take the liquids? Without even realizing it, Dragon was staring at the water shooting down the sink, captivated.

He hadn't lied when he'd said he would sleep like the dead earlier, but in truth he was just guessing. Unbeknownst to him and Dragon, a tall feminine figure slid open his bedroom window and slipped inside. Instead of looking for the vampire, the tall pale blue haired broad dressed like a huntress went directly towards where there was noise in the house.
xXxXx"Did he really not scare you away with just what little bit of irritation he showed towards those mortals in what is his real self? Most would've ran off like he was going to tear their heads off for merely glancing at him. He never would just hurt someone randomly for looking at him, but most assume he would seeing how he never really smiles," the female purred smoothly while briefly picking up the medical kit still sitting near the couch. Shifting her icy blue gaze over at Dragon, she tapped her finger against the box a few times. "You dealt with the injuries... I guess he didn't need me sneaking out of the house then. I'm surprised he stayed conscious much less active enough to keep the place free of bloodstains. He's probably sleeping somewhere dark right now and could use the rest... It goes to the sewers, kid. Humans use those piping systems to carry off their waste and refuse to some kind of filtration system that will eventually return to that which you are pouring from the faucet. He went with neutral colors; so like him. It's neither warm and comforting, loving and kind, nor cold and heartless, desolate and empty."

With a gasp Dragon quickly spun around and gripped the edge of the counter to stop himself from falling from such fluid movement. He blinked - eyes turning from silver to dirt brown at that moment - and kept a wary stare on the woman. She was very pretty, and she had some features that reminded him of Lurtz. Was she one of the sisters? Would she try to wake Lurtz up? Dragon gulped nervously but tried to stay strong. "I-I know he wouldn't hurt me, s-so I don't have any reason to be afraid." he said. When the woman mentioned the water's whereabouts, Dragon tensed up and quickly turned to turn the faucet off, blushing with embarrassment. As he stared at the dripping nozzle to avoid eye contact, the words sank in. Neutral? Lurtz? "Wh... What do you mean neutral colors?" he asked and slowly looked back at the woman, eyes turning light gray.

"Good. Perhaps you can be the replacement for the girl he was supposed to marry many a year ago. He might not show his feelings very well, but I've come to learn he takes rejection hard. I'm his mother, dearie, albeit I get tired of constantly having to intervene in my children's affairs... Damnit, mi amore, you're getting my high heels thrown at you when I get home. I ask him a hundred times to remove the lightly colored clothes so it doesn't get stains on it and he still doesn't listen. The boy already has a million other things to stress about than fixing his clothes," she responded while briefly snapping her fingers so Lurtz's ironing board and a small scrub brush appeared in her lap. Growing irritated by the television, however, she slid a foot out of her boot just to hit the power button on the remote. "You can sit. I'm not going to try killing you or him while he's unable to fend for himself much less defend you. And yes, hon, neutral colors. These are earthy tones that aren't exactly loud and in-your-face bright like your neon colors nor are they dark and mysterious, covering up many secrets like the color black. Seeing as it isn't bright nor extremely dark, it's neutral shades he used meaning it met somewhere in the middle. Lurtz, like these colors, isn't a war loving guy nor is he like those treehuggers who keep preaching world peace then end up bitching, moaning and complaining about how people need to put those war loving terrorists back in their place. He cares about things like you and me, but could care less about things like some of the teachers in your school's intimate relationships with each other and their students. You didn't hear that from me or Lurtz. You'll learn these things as you get older much like the things these schools say are necessary to complete your education. Lurtz knows a million ways to kill someone, twice as many ways to avoid killing someone, and these school systems say he is still missing subjects. Since the school here doesn't allow part-time students and we can't constantly be here dragging him out of school for classes he doesn't need to take, I put in some extracurricular activities for him to do such as the music class you two met in. His sister Ellie told me how he was speaking music with you as you were curious and he ended up being told by the other students to sing that Abba song remade by the A*Teens correctly after he'd pointed out how they were flat in their notes. He's shy about the extracurricular activities he does as a hobby when his sisters aren't jumping out of thin air at him with their favored weapons already at the ready for striking at him. They're just trying to keep his senses sharpened since his dad already has his job picked out for him."
