"I wanted him seventeen years ago, Selene." Cricket corrected, folding her arms. "And frankly, the idea of 'me' wooing him is well..." the nurse twisted a lock of her hair. "Let's go on a quick trip to see Rengath and see what happens." she suggested, though the tearing up was...definitely a slight gut-clencher.
She wasn't entirely heartless, after all.

Selene sniffed, just once, before wiping the tears from the rims of her eyes. "Seventeen years.. has it really been that long? It seems like only yesterday.." No day felt completely real, after those days had passed. Selene shook her head to clear the sad thoughts that threatened to dampen her mood, before sneaking a peek in the direction of Rengath's booth. "Are you sure? We don't know what Rengie likes, so how can we convince him that he's madly in love with you without resorting to the cheap tricks of romance? What you two need is common ground. Something that will keep you both coming back, time and again, and aahhh, I can't think about it without swooning~"
Sure enough, Selene's body was tilting left and right as she thought of Cricket and Rengath wrapped up in each others arms. That, alone had her growing impatient. "Okay! If you think we can do it, let's do it! For love!" She held up her arms as if to wait for a high five.
There would be no high-fives from Cricket, unfortunately, as the nurse just stared at the outstretched hand and frowned. She didn't even make the motion - after years of conditioning herself to not do it, she just..didn't do it.
Which was probably why Cricket just navigated through her flowers and began walking off towards where the probably pinkest of booths would be set up. After all, masochism was just....who didn't want to be a tormented artist? Rengath certainly wasn't above an opportunity to be dramatic.

What does this mean for you who may want her wares? Well. That means until she comes back, you may now roll to steal flowers once every OOC hour (as of your timestamp).
Stealing Flowers
- If your character wishes to make an attempt at stealing flowers, roll 2d20. - If they roll less than 5 (so 1-5) they've successfully stolen a bouquet! Otherwise, SHAMMEEEEE.
If you previously made an attempt to steal flowers, you may do so again despite the limit because Cricket is not here to keep you away.
However, you can also decide to be an honest student and prevent other students from stealing things from the nurse. After all, if someone steals her stuff, she might not be too happy about it....
Being a Flower-Guardian
-If someone rolls a 'steal', quote that user and roll 1d20. If you roll a multiple of 5, you've 'caught' them and they can no longer try to steal flowers for an extra hour. - This means someone who is caught must wait an OOC 2 hours to roll again! GASP!
Specify at the top of your post if you are stealing or guarding the flowers.
Getting up from her spot and noticing the flowers display didn't have a guardian, surely one wouldn't be missed.
Millie really really wanted that purple bouquet she had her eyes on for a couple of days and debated trying to just grab it and walk off with it. She attempted to reach it, but nearly knocked another bouquet over in the process. Catching it with her other hand, she tried walking around the picket fence to see if there was an easier spot, but alas, Millie was just too short to reach the one she wanted without ruining several others.
Others were wandering by too, so it would be extremely difficult to just walk off with it. Hanging her head, she walked back to sit under a tree.
That's cool, Cricket. That's okay. She wasn't trying to get your high five anyway.
Selene let her hands fall and hopped off of her tail, almost tripping on the floor as she scurred to follow Cricket. Were they really going to do this? Were they really going to confront Rengath and profess feelings??!
Sparkles followed Selene as she toddled happily away.
((excuse me while Andrew trolls the booth. he's stealing))
Andrew walk by the booth, and tried to casually take a banquet. His stealing skills weren't up to par, but he kept walking, shoving his hand back into his pocket.
Oh Jack she was reaching for him. He was dead. He was so dead dead. She was going to do something horrible and this was it, this was the end. He cast a desperate look towards Yin, mismatched eyes almost sad and pleading, as the Nurse's hand came to rest on his head.
And then she was simply tilting his head from side to side, looking him over, which had him cringing away slightly to start with but as it continued on without any further accosting he began to relax.
Up until a flower was tucked behind his ear. Then he was just sure he was going to die again, but this time out of mortification. And it wasn't as though he could remove the damned thing, not in front of Yin and certainly not where the Nurse could see him.
Ugh this was seriously just the most awful.
"Uh, thanks, again?" He sounded very unsure of whether he should be thankful or not.
Soon after the Nurse was distracted by the arrival of another teacher, and then she was gone. He was going to suggest they leave themselves as well but....
the table was unmanned now. And students kept...looking in that direction, or approaching and then turning away, or approaching quite near. What were they....no, surely nobody would think of stealing anything!
....Well, maybe he should stick around just to make sure.

Where's the Nurse? AJ was about to convince her again for some beautiful flowers, but she was not in her booth. AJ looked around the lovely garden, so - what can he do?
He reached out to pick up some flowers, but when he thought deeply, he gave up. It was not a good idea to get flowers without permission.

QUICK UPDATE:
I'm going to reduce the dice rolled to 1d20 for both guarding and stealing from here on out. *thumbs up*
Millie tried again for the small purple bouquet and had managed to get it out of the booth without knocking it over this time.

Backing away slowly with the small lavender flowers in her arms and looking over her shoulder to see if Cricket was coming back, Millie walked as casually as she could away from the booth.
She felt terrible about stealing the flowers, but the alternative was even less attractive.
