Koorie grimaced at the mention of a 'club'; there went THAT idea. "Yes... join us" she said through nearly clenched teeth. Seeing the poochyena, the trainer instantly warmed a little and knelt down slowly, making no aggressive moves as she held her hand out for the pokemon to sniff. "Well aren't you an interesting one."

Miu, seeing her trainer working with the new pokemon, trotted over to join them, keeping a cautious eye to make sure her human wasn't going to be hurt.

Juno forced a polite smile as she was handed one of the unattractive grab bags. She had of course packed everything she might possibly need, but if this fool was going to give supplies away for free she might as well relieve him of them. Juno sneered at the Pokeball – she did not foresee capturing any Pokemon in the usual way any time soon – but packed everything provided into her own, much more stylish, luggage. She'd been about to unceremoniously drop the tote bag itself in a corner, but finally folded it up as small as it would go and found it a place, as well. Anything might prove useful for... something.

When the cry of the supposed legendary Pokemon echoed down from the highest peaks of the mountain range, Juno peered upward with glittering eyes. She thought she caught a glimpse of – no, it couldn't be. It was too good to be true.

Desdemona's flame burned intensely blue, flickering like a taut wire. She responded to the distant noise with her own keening cry: "Twiiiiiiick!"

"Yes, dreaming big certainly makes life interesting!" Shaun agreed. "And more pokemon being discovered all the time just means more subjects for art. Not that there's any limit to the variations of pokemon, even among the ones already discovered. Besides pokemon with normal coloration and Shiny coloration, there's ones that only have markings in a color not their base, like Salvo here." He pointed the the Tropius's legs, which had swirling markings in the bright golden brown that was normally only seen on shiny pokemon. "And around here there's even pokemon that are colors that are never normally seen on them! It's really fascinating."

Salvo tilted his head while considering the Duskull's complement, which made the hat wobble and slide off-kilter. <"It doesn't fit very well,"> he observed. <"It's made for a human head, not mine. I think it would look better where it fits right."> He swung his head over to Sunny, offering the hat back.

Juno curled her lip as they passed the Doduo farm. Filthy. The man and his Pokemon both. Even if she hadn't been fully capable of climbing on her own two perfectly good legs, she would not have deigned to accept one of the Doduo as a gift, let alone pay the farmer's more-than-exorbitant asking price. For a better mount from a better establishment, she might have taken the time to sweet-talk a free ride from the proprietor.

The doduo immediately balked before a Poochyena, looking down with an indignant squeak, and exchanged glances. The second head lowered after a moment, both eying it as the two-headed pokemon debated what to do with it.

Jack frowned.

"Hey, don't eat that! BAD BIRD."

Lexis gave a soft amused sound. Well, wasn't that interesting? Are you hiding something, young man? Glameow looked nothing like a Purrloin, and the later was much heavier then tiny Glamour. "Glamour is a Glameow, and we suit each other well enough." She said mildly, pondering if the man was an idiot, unlike, or trying to hard to play one. A much more likely possibility.

She frowned, glancing back and grimaced slightly at the approaching Doduo. Glamour hissed, arching her tiny back and showed teeth at the approaching two headed bird.

"How nice Koorie, she likes you."

When she returned to the group, leading a Doduo with a makeshift rope lead and a bag of feed tied to it's back, she took a place closer to the back. She wasn't sure how he'd do around large groups of people.

She had been a little surprised with how much feed he had given her, having expect just a small bag, but she wasn't going to complain. It was worth the extra money she had paid.

"I'm going to call you Scruffy for now," she muttered, checking him out quickly. He didn't appear to be ill, but she'd keep an eye on him. He didn't make a sound while she was doing that, and she wasn't sure if that was a good thing, or a bad one.

It did mean that he wasn't going to be the best conversationalist. She chuckled to herself. She was being silly. Surely she could manage to befriend one human.

"I'm fine, I've been through a lot worse than getting a face full of slobbery poochyena. It sounds like Lexis is right though, looks like I've made a.... 'friend'." Koorie sighed and shook her head at Parthenius. "At least it's got some spunk. Something you can't teach."
