Damien continued drinking a little, but for the most part he was paying attention to the fights on the televisions. Suddenly he felt the jewl on his forehead warm up ever so slightly. He realized what it could only mean. His thughts went to the jewl. Stop it... not now.... just glow after the fights. I'm trying to relax Apparently that had worked as the jewl cooled back down. Damien pulls a small onyx out of his shirt pocket to snack on.

Damien continues switching his gaze from one television screen to another as he finishes his onyx and goes back to drinking. None of the fighters had seemed to familiar to him, but it had been so long since he was on this planet. He kept watching the fights to see if he could jog his memories. Some were slowly coming back, others seemed to elude (spelling?) him.

After finishing his meal, Doji turned and looked at the individual wearing glasses as he picked his glass of water up and rotated the bar stool's seat so he was facing him. "Damien, don't try to hide over there. I may be old but I can still see when somebody is looking at me, especially when that individual is lighting up like a match in a dark room."
He tapped Terra on the shoulder and pointed to Damien and laughed. "Now there is an old sight."

Damien smiles and chuckles. He picks up his drink and walks over to Doji's and Terra's table. He takes a seat from across the two It has been ages, you two. How have you both been?

Before Damien could get a reply his attention suddenly went to the television. He slipped off his sunglasses, knowing they were not necessary. A fight had ended in one of the matches with the death of what appeared to be a young boy. Damien lets out a low whistle. The jewl on his forehead had finally ceased giving off the gold glow. Have to give the kid some credit. That was one Hell of a fight

He wanted to reply to the question about how things had been, but the announcer on the Tres fight started to pick up in chattering as he turned to watch the finale of the fight. "Whoa, holy s**t." Was all Kuro said for a few minutes as he let out a sharp whistle as the two fighters hit the turf. "Did Tres really kill him? That blow looked like it was going for the fences." He said out loud to nobody in particular as he snapped his fingers and requested a small whiskey from the bartender. "It makes you wonder if he was trying to kill him right from the get go. Man if Sieg could see this he would be disappointed."

Damien nodded in agreement. He had seen many tournaments but very rarely seen such brutality. He almost felt bad for the kid, but many knows that such tournaments there is always a risk to one own's life. Your guess is as good as mine. They was really going at it too. He finishes off his drink and orders another one. It felt good to be around familiar company for once. Adosian had treated him well, but only too well and with too much respect. He had missed this kind of stuff, being treated as an equal rather than overly admired.

Feeling the tap on her shoulder, Terra glanced over at Kuro, her head tilting curiously. "Hmm? Oh yes, Damien.."
A knowing smile graced her lips as she peered at Damien, her golden gaze watching him as he approached and sat at their table. Of course she knew he was around, it was hard not to know since he carried that jewel she had gifted to him long ago.
She was about to speak, but was stopped short when their attention suddenly went to the t.v., and she turned her head to look at the one that stared at. "Oh wow! Look at that....I don't know if Tres was even trying to hold back..."

"Clearly his intent was to finish the fight in a final blow. You could tell by the energy the hit generated that was left over. I am surprised the kid is still in one piece honestly." Doji took another sip of his glass as he glanced to several other fights, noting some of them had yet to even start as awkward looking fighters kicked at the floor looking bored. "You would think with a huge waiting list they would toss several others in to fill these gaps. Waiting kills a fighting spirit and makes the fights dull." Between the child being slain during the Tres fight, and seeing some fights still waiting on an opponent, his patience was wearing thin. He wanted to go find this Midus and figure out what his deal was. People coming from all over to provide a good show and join for battle, and they were being ignored by the staff on hand.
He composed his thoughts and let out a small sigh and turned to look at Damien once more. "So, where have you been?"

Damien sighs and takes his attention off the television screens I have been spending the last few centuries as the Guardian of Adosian. A planet I had onc visited in my younger years. With Lord Umbra finally gone for good, they no loner really needed me. I figured it was time the inhabtants looked after themselves. I was passing by this world and I felt the pull of the old Living Mansion. So I had returned. Then I heard about this tournament and decided to check it out. And the two of you? How have you both been fairing over the years?

Z. Kuro's presence brushed the pool area as he stepped into the outside area, his hand resting on the two swords latched to his side. His expression was set to an unpleasant look rather than the excitement he displayed to Ellie a few minutes ago. He stopped where he stood, for he knew Doji and Terra would feel his presence eventually. Their senses were that good. Only then would his blue eyes stare with a strange composure of unrest within them.

He looked to Damien as he watched the gem embedded in the man's head glow softly, pulsing every now and again. "Sounds like you have been busy since the Clan Wars. I hope everything has went well for you abroad. You look healthy and seem in good spirits so that has to be going well for you at least." He set the glass on the counter as he removed his hat and looked it over, brushing some dust off of the top of it. "I have been busy keeping the Legion's prime objective to task. This past year we have stopped six different catastrophic level artifacts from being put into hands that should never be given a mantle of power. It has been tough since this job has taken most of my free time. Actually to be honest this is my first time out of the Legion city in a year, and it was forced by the commanders." He chuckled as the hat went right back to his head, his eye scanning the TVs to get a glimpse of each fight briefly.

Damien chuckles slightly remembering the old wars. Seems we have both been busy. But ah yes. The Clans Wars. I remember them well. Those were some good days. Part of me actually even misses Draka somewhat. But those days are history. Out with the old, in with the new as they say. He listens to some of the fights that are still going on. He take another drink and wonders to himself just who will win the glory this time.

His hand fell to the handle of his blade as his eye looked past Damien and seen the familiar individual who was outside of the glass doors. It was Kuro, an old warrior friend who had served next to him almost eight years prior during the war against the Elements. A difficult time that resulted in Doji being bed-ridden for many months, locked away from prying eyes by protective forces outside of even his own control.
Regardless, he let his attention settle back to Damien as his hand left his sword and rested against his own leg. "I miss none of it to be honest with you. Once Steele fell and I ensured the destruction of the Syndicate grounds I washed my hands of the entire thing and focused on my current task. The Legion was needed for more dire matters."

Terra would keep tabs on the conversation, but her eyes stayed focused on the various televisions, watching the fights playing out.At some point Terra decided to poke some fun at Damien, and her aura would reach out, prodding the jewel on his person with her power. But hearing them speak of Steele, her gaze glided over to the two men, and her hand tightened into a fist on her lap, as her aura suddenly withdrew. The subject of Steele was always a touchy subject for her. While Steele indeed needed to be taken care of, Torran had rarely made a appearance since then, and she blamed herself.
Releasing a soft sigh from her lips, wanting to think of it no longer, nor hear of The Legion that had taken all of Kurohito's attention from his family, she would return her attention back to the tournament. Though before she could, another familiar presence tugged at her senses, and her gold gaze instead settled on Z.Kuro. The sadness that had lingered in her eyes was replaced with amusement as she saw him just outside the glass doors, a smile gracing her glossed lips. "Ah.."
Z.Kuro it is good to see you. You have been gone for so long, I thought you had left forever as well.
Her voice chimed cheerfully within his mind, as she studied him. Upon noting his unpleasant look, her suddenly cheerful demeanor faded. Confused she looked between him and Kurohito, wondering if she had missed something.
