Pae'il Name: Autumn Concept: Autumn Primary Power: State Change: Autumn can cause water molecules to change their state of matter.
This utilizes all of the state change processes of water: melting, freezing, evaporation, condensation, sublimation, and deposition. The amount of energy it takes for him to cause a phase change is directly proportional to the latent heat required to do the same. I.e., it takes far more energy to sublimate than to evaporate, which takes more energy than melting. Likewise, it takes more energy to change water with many solutes (e.g. salt) than pure water.
He can only change water, H2O, no other compound. The water changes as it would if done by natural physical processes.
He can also only do this for an amount of water limited by his own energy and the aforementioned energy requirements. No changing all the rain in a storm to snow or something like that. I'll let y'all decide the limits wink Secondary Power: Leaf Change: Autumn can manipulate the amount of chlorophyll present in vegetation.
This includes both increases and decreases of chlorophyll.
This is not limited to woody tree species, but rather is for all flora containing chloroplasts in a leaf-like structure. There is a set volume of chlorophyll he can manipulate; probably the equivalent of changing 1-2 full-grown trees from "summer" to "autumn" states. Whether he does that via 2 trees or some number of saplings or portions between different plants is irrelevant.
He must touch the plant to change it.
Unfortunately, when removing enough chlorophyll to cause a color change in leaves, it dramatically harms the plant's ability to perform photosynthesis and, thus, survive. This won't effect him directly, but it might be best if he didn't go upset any aquascapers or the like. Tertiary Power: (rare, for PLOT purposes and must be approved by RP mod beforehand) Magical Item: (some fae will have unique items, but most will have a default staff only)
Suggested Limitation Notes for Primary Power:
He can only change the water in the area around him, and cannot change the weather. Only one transformation per 'body of water'; so he can't change water to vapor then vapor back to water. He cannot alter humidity. so he can't pull all the water from air to make a snowball. If he tries to manipulate tainted water, he himself will take on taint.
Notes on Secondary Power:
There are no real physical limits listed. He can only do so many plants, but why? Does he get tired? If he uses his power on one tree, he can't do it to the same one again. Doing something magically unnatural to the tree 'scars it' and he can't affect it any more. (Suggested limitation) It doesn't work on Laisidhiel trees. (Required limitation)

Pae'il Name: Muir Concept: Myrmecophyte Primary Power: Whistling Thorn - Muir has bonded with the whistling thorn, making his skin hard and fire-resistant. He can produce two variations of thorns from his skin. The first is straight and capable of piercing most surfaces; the second is hallow, can house acrobat ants, and will produce nectar for them.
Limits: The first set of thorns can vary from 1-3 in and cannot pierce through rocks, gems, hardwoods, or otherwise metal-strength surfaces. They can pierce thin leather, softwoods, and similar strength materials. They will easily pierce pae'il skin, but not scales unless they get into the spaces between the scales. For the most part, however, they are a defense mechanism triggered much in the same way as a porcupine. Perhaps with time he might be able to better produce them as-desired, but not in the near future.
The second set of thorns are produced unconsciously as ants near him and are far less common. Secondary Power: Acrobat Ant - Muir has bonded with the acrobat ant, allowing him minor influence over them. He can produce and release neurotoxic venom from his fingers to stun other pae'il and will unconsciously release pheromones to alert nearby fauna or pae'il of earth alignment of distress and danger.
Limits: I use the term influence fairly loosely (feel free to change it with a more appropriate word). He can suggest they do something (e.g. going to check out a place or pae), but a suggestion is all it is. They are more inclined to do so in order to receive nectar as a reward. As they consume nectar, their knowledge is shared with Muir. This could range from seeing new flora/fauna species, others in the nearby vicinity, or just some new micro areas of their nearby environment. Very useful.
The stunning effect is temporary, but would be pretty painful (think of a fire-ant bite, but by an order of magnitude). Intense swelling and itching will occur in the point of contact for up to a week following the "sting." Will not have any long-term effects unless it becomes infected due to scratching from the "stung" one.
If one is reading the pheromones, it will cause an adrenaline rush and a feeling that there is distress and/or danger in the direction. Can travel quite some distance (maybe 2-4 km?) depending on the wind conditions. Tertiary Power: None Magical Item: Lol none
This app has a lot of different powers for one individual. We'd prefer to break it down a bit. He can have some of these powers now and can seek the others by RPing towards Hallowed status.
Our suggestion is that he keeps the thorns for his primary ability, and if he reaches Hallowed status, then he can have the fire resistance as well. For his secondary ability, he could have communication with the ants, and work towards either the pheromones or toxins abilities at Hallowed status, as these seem to have vastly different purposes.

The following concepts and powers have been approved with any notes given! Congratulations!
Eszra Samhain (Concept, Primary, and Secondary Power now approved.)
Fea Line
Pae'il Name: Eszra Samhain Concept: Samhain, the Gaelic festival. Primary Power: Cleansing Fire - Eszra can create a 'flame' to cleanse taint from a pae. The flame does not burn anything it touches, period. It simply feels like a warm, comforting sensation. Secondary Power: Turnip Totems - Eszra can turn turnips into sentry totems that alert her of possible dangers within a small circle radius around her. They 'talk' to her through the turnip on her staff when something trips their alarm. Tertiary Power: n/a Magical Item: ALL DEM TURNIPS DUDE. Or just her turnip staff shes got now :3
Syldre (Primary and Secondary Power now approved.)
HelMel
Pae'il Name: Syldre Concept: Gen 2 - Sadron x Zyzair Primary Power: Pulse: Changes in the pH of Syldre's skin cause her to pulse with electricity. It is a change in her energy from kinetic to electrical mostly triggered by adrenaline. At first she will have no control over it; the power will be more a fight or flight response. She has the potential to gradually cause it by will alone, but it will be much weaker than by her instinctual synaptic response.
The pulse will serve mostly the purpose of defense. If someone were to grab her, they would receive a painful though not deadly shock, giving her time to escape. Conceivably she could inflict pain by reaching out to touch someone; however, this would only work to a much lesser degree where the feeling would be more discomfort than pain.
This power would only be viable whenever Syldre is not grounded. If she is floating in water or air she will be able to generate electricity. If she is touching the ground, her current would flood out of her and leave her feeling weak. As a result she will stay airborne or in the water away from the lake bed as much as possible. This will make sleeping a vulnerable time for her. Excessive flying will also tire her and thereby effect her charge. She will also physically weaken as she uses her power, since she is using her own energy as electricity.
Of course, anything that is an electrical retardant will not be phased. (i.e., rubber)
Secondary Power: Alarm: Similar to Sadron's trap making powers, Syldre will be able to construct alarm systems from basic at first to more and more complex with time and practice. This of course will vary based on what supplies are nearby and the limits of the items themselves.
Magical Item: N/A at this time
Zulfiqar (Scroll power now approved.)
Daisicle
Pae'il Name: Zulfiqar Link To Where Scroll Was Earned: [x] Scroll Power: Advanced Camouflage - Zulfiqar can control the pigments of his skin, scales, and hair to blend in and effectively disappear into his surroundings. Weakness: There is a small time lag in changing colors, but not as long as with the Taint-version of this ability. Can be nearly flawless when holding still due to his improved ability to copy details, but he cannot continuously change "on the go" in real time to continuously match his changing surroundings. He can chose to change into something while moving, just not an accurate real-time changing thing. Cannot change the colors of his eyes.
Aloiki (Primary and Secondary Power now approved with a couple notes on potential uses.)
EvilSilverDragon
Pae'il Name: Aloiki Concept: first gen sprite Primary Power: Reverse osmosis
He can take a bowl of salt water and by putting his hand into the water he can pull the salt out of the water collecting it into salt crystals leaving the water fresh. -limitations being the size of the water source can only affect about a foot by foot or contained water depending on how salty the water is.
Secondary Power: Purification: He can make any water source drinkable.
-only works on small contained water source not large or flowing water
Tertiary Power:none
Magical Item: none
A couple potential power uses.
Maybe Aloiki could gather salt as a type of trade? Not a lot of salt farms at the moment on the Isle. Also, his purification skills could extend to cleansing small bodies of standing water of Taint (puddles from rain; jars or containers).
Harlow Samhain (Concept, Primary, and Secondary Power now approved.)
Strawberri Stardust
Pae'il Name: Harlow Samhain Concept: Samhain, the Gaelic festival Primary Power: Cleansing Flame - Harlow creates a flame that cleanses Taint from Pae. It doesn't burn, just creates a warm sensation that may feel uncomfortable depending on the amount of Taint in the Pae. Secondary Power: Drunken Fairies - Harlow has the ability to summon 'fairies' that resemble golden balls of light and they can fill any glass/cup/mug/etc with the holder's alcoholic drink of choice. Tertiary Power: (rare, for PLOT purposes and must be approved by RP mod beforehand) Magical Item: His staff and weenie
Callista (AFD power approved.)

That sounds good to me; here's an updated form :3 Let me know if I missed anything.
Pae'il Name: Autumn Concept: Autumn Primary Power: State Change: Autumn can cause water molecules to change their state of matter.
This utilizes all of the state change processes of water except for those involving plasma (at this time): melting, freezing, evaporation, condensation, sublimation, and deposition.
He can only change a body of water once; no changing a puddle to water vapor and then back again. He can only change water, H2O, and no other compound. The water changes as it would if done by natural physical processes. For example, if he causes a puddle of salty water to evaporate, the salts will be left behind.
He can also only do this for an amount of water limited by his own energy and the aforementioned energy requirements. No changing the weather or affecting humidity or the like. Additionally, if he tries to manipulate tainted water, he himself will become tainted as well. Secondary Power: Leaf Change: Autumn can manipulate the amount of chlorophyll present in vegetation.
This includes both increases and decreases of chlorophyll.
This is not limited to woody tree species, but rather is for all flora containing chloroplasts in a leaf-like structure. There is a set volume of chlorophyll he can manipulate depending on energy; probably the equivalent of changing 1-2 full-grown trees from "summer" to "autumn" states (or vice versa) at the moment. Whether he does that via 2 trees or some number of saplings or portions between different plants is irrelevant. Naturally, the more he manipulates, the more energy is consumer. Perhaps with time he may be able to become more efficient at the process and able to do more, but that would require an exceptional amount of practice.
He must touch the plant to change it. He cannot change the same plant twice, nor can he affect the trees of Laisidhiel. If he manipulates a tainted plant, he will become tainted as well.
Unfortunately, when removing enough chlorophyll to cause a color change in leaves, it dramatically harms the plant's ability to perform photosynthesis and, thus, survive. That seems fair to me. biggrin Sorry about that (and for quite a few of mine it seems this round)! Sometimes I forget to separate my idea for a "final power" into pre- and post-hallowed subsets.
Here's the edited version.
Pae'il Name: Muir Concept: Myrmecophyte Primary Power: Whistling Thorn - Muir has bonded with the whistling thorn, allowing him to produce two variations of thorns from his skin. The first is straight and capable of piercing most surfaces; the second is hallow, can house acrobat ants, and will produce nectar for them.

Pae'il Name: DelfÃn Concept: (story, fable, myth, idea, etc. Can be anything, including anything made up) The legend behind the pink dolphin. Amazonian tribes believe the pink dolphin can transform into a man and walk amongst villagers amd impregnate the villagers. Primary Power: He can transform into a dolphin. But it's more a reverse of his concept. Instead of a dolphin that turns human once a month, during a full moon, he MUST transform into a dolphin.
Once a dolphin, unlike a naiad, he cannot speak. He can still think and is still somewhat him but "him" is more based on dolphin instict as is his actions. He can talk to other dolphins but that is based on his area and knowledge of the residual mammals in the water and how often he has transformed in the waters. If he is in a new area, he must learn new dolphin language. Like an american being transplanted in asia.
Plus, it will be easier to shift, the closer to the full moon it is but harder to change the week of the new moon. When there is no moon, he cannot transform at all. Nor can he sleep. And he has an almost irresistable urge for fish and swimming. Secondary Power: Tertiary Power: (rare, for PLOT purposes and must be approved by RP mod beforehand) Magical Item: (some fae will have unique items, but most will have a default staff only) He has a fish. This magical fish can talk but only to him (think Mary poppins Umbrella). But it is random when it happens. So theres no telling when or where the fish will activate
Pae'il Name: Trouble Concept: (story, fable, myth, idea, etc. Can be anything, including anything made up) no clue. She was CANDEH Primary Power: Rock Minions : Trouble can make minions out of rocks. Nothing fancy. Or big. Or smart. Just simple minded and made of pebbles. She can only make as many minions as there are pebbles around her. And they're not very smart. They can only follow simple commands. Secondary Power: Tertiary Power: (rare, for PLOT purposes and must be approved by RP mod beforehand) Magical Item: (some fae will have unique items, but most will have a default staff only)
Trouble was having a blast. Her and her sister had just found the best toy. It was a giant wheel that seemed to run. On it's own!
Her and her sister had been playing hide and seek with the giant wheel as base for days.
Now she just had to beat her sister. Which was becoming increasingly difficult. She had lost the last three games. She was currently layig under rocks, trying to win the 4th game. Maybe if she saw her sister hide, she could find her and win.
"You that's hearing don't you?" She heard off to her left.
"Yes, Gunther. I know. But what else am I sposed to do when she keeps winning?" Trouble turned to glare at the glowing ball of light beside her. she had discovered her Mellon ages ago but she never quite grew used to it's goodie too shoes habits.
"Well, cheating is wrong. You know that, don't you?" The Mellon buzzed in front of her face, blocking her view of the meadow outside the rocks.
"GUnther!! I'm gonna loose. Move it. " she said, moving the Mellon out of the way.
"One would think you didn't care that you're doin something wrong and utterly tragic!!" Gunther snapped, refusing to budge.
"I don't. I just wanna win Gunther. Don't make me Gaurd ya..."
"You wouldn't!" Snapped Gunther.
"Of course I would. You givig away my location. Now move"
Gunther stilled for a moment before returning to his fluttering pace in front of her. "No. I will not let you do something illegal."
"Ok. You asked for it." Trouble snaped her fingers and a a bevy of pebbles from the ground rose up, a sparkle or two surrounding then, and came together to form.. A pebble with a leg.
Trouble stopped and stared at the monster minion. Darn it. They still wouldn't form arms.
Gunther laughed. "Yeah. I'm scared...."
Trouble glared at the offending Mellon ball. "You know what? Let's see you do it. "

Pae'il Name: Marigold Concept: Autumnal Appreciation Concept Contest - Marigolds Primary Power: Panacea Radiance - Marigold strikes a fabulous pose, and becomes radiantly and brilliantly bright; blindingly bright. But the light does not actually blind or hurt any pae. It makes her look more majestic. [example] The rays of light can instantly remove and cleanse afflictions, like toxins and diseases.
Weaknesses: She has to look fabulous for the light to shine bright. The strength of the light depends on the power of the pose The strength of the Taint cleansing is very, very weak compared to other afflictions because she is still considered young and Taint is strong. With experience, she'll get better.
Secondary Power: Recap - power to give understandable information in an accelerated manner. She talks so fast, for someone on the outside it just sounds like she is talking like a chipmunk on cocaine and redbull on fastforward, but to the person she's talking to, they get the entire story/conversation in seconds and it's all clear and understandable Tertiary Power: (rare, for PLOT purposes and must be approved by RP mod beforehand) Magical Item: Immortal Marigold hair accessory. (It's real and will never die, so it has all the cool marigold powers, like blooming all year)
Pae'il Name: Cassia Concept: Master of Spices Primary Power: Master of Spices
Capabilities Cassia can "read" spices to know exact combinations to create different and unique - magical - flavor profiles. The food that these spice blends create is the best flavored in all the island. The special spice blends that Cassia makes (and will sell) are designed to improve the lives of the pae that use them (luck, love, success).
Weaknesses Any pae whose unique power is making delicious food magically trumps Cassia's spices. Spices lose their potency over time, so they must be replenished. Spice effects last for as long as the food eaten nourishes the body. Spice is the currency of some villages, so it will be either hard to get, or expensive to trade. Spicy food can have adverse reactions on delicate tummies so the effects might backfire.
Secondary Power: Incense Burner
Companion power The user can create incense from spices and when burned, the scents can cause different effects. There's a calm, meditative state; aphrodisiac; and a sensory "block" that can shield users from abilities that might affect the senses: scent, taste, touch, sight or hearing. Induced state only lasts as long as the incense Can not manipulate Can not cause visions
Tertiary Power: (not yet) Magical Item: Ear muffs
(I thought I posted this. sad )

Pae'il Name: Huberta Concept: Christmas mayhem steal a gift - futtakuchi onna Beauty and the Beast remake, baby Primary Power: Her hair is sentient. As in, it grabs things, trips people, has tantrums, sometimes steals shiny things(a.k.a. forks), throws apples(or anything small, red and round) Weaknesses: *Anything that can damage regular hair. Heat. Humidity. Electricity. *Cutting it causes a massive fit and will give Huberta a headache. *Being bound in a tie restrains it. *Also water. When it's wet? It's all but useless/normal hair. Secondary Power: Strength. Hair is strong. Pure tensile strength. Weaknesses *Again, extreme weather, poor care, tangles. If it causes split ends and damage? It can hurt the poor hair. *Since it has a mind of it's own, it doesn't always cooperate with Huberta. *Being bound in a tie. It can slip a little, but once it's up, it's up. *Water. When it's wet, it's weighed down and acts like normal hair. Tertiary Power: (rare, for PLOT purposes and must be approved by RP mod beforehand) Magical Item: HER AMAZING WINGS
Pae'il Name: Wellspring Secondary Power: Chemical Hydrology -> Dilution Solution
Just a change in the name of the power to better reflect what the power does and to have it better fit in with the name of his other power; no changes to the power itself

Pae'il Name: Bindi Concept: Dark Spectrum Astra Fae Primary Power: Chromatic Fire Breath
Capabilities She can breathe fire in any color of the spectrum, and regulate the temperature in her lungs. She exhales fire in a cone in front of her or can create small bursts of flames. The color varies based on the temperature of the flame.
Weaknesses If she's upset, it's hard to hug her because she is too hot. Water can easily cool her off and nullify the flames. Flames last only as long as her breath can handle. It requires a deep breath to exhale a flame.
Secondary Power: Heat Resistant
Capabilities Necessary power so that she doesn't burn herself. She can withstand extreme heat without damage.
Weakness: In cold temperatures, it's harder to warm up. Healing fire has no effect
Tertiary Power: (rare, for PLOT purposes and must be approved by RP mod beforehand) Magical Item: Astra Wings
Pae'il Name: Killa Concept: The Snow Hare Primary Power: Arctic Hare - Killa has the ability to transform into an arctic hare. She retains an enhanced sense of hearing outside of this transformation, along with naturally strong legs and a high tolerance for colder weather. Unfortunately, predators may find they have a peculiar affinity towards her.
Naturally, these 'benefits' are not quite as acute in her pae form as they are in her transformed form. The color of her transformed coat varies depending on the ambient conditions when she transformed - unless its quite cold outside, her coat will be brown.
Her regular form remains considerably smaller than the average fae; her total height including her ears is about that as the average fae. Likewise, with the exception of her legs, her body is considerably more frail than average. Basically, smol bunny is smol fae. Be it this small stature or just some unfortunate pheromone, "predators" (e.g. harpies, naga, those bonded to predatory animals, and wild animals) will find themselves inexplicably drawn to her for one reason or another. Generally this presents in them wanting to eat the bunny, but could also result in wanting to protect the bunny. Secondary Power: Snow Bunny - Killa can temporarily transform others into 'snow bunnies' by bopping them on the nose. Afflicted pae remain sentient of their surroundings while transformed but are unable to do anything. Side effects may include frostbite, void where prohibited.
Killa must properly bop the pae on their nose (boop their snoots) to cause a transformation. The transformation lasts from 2-10 minutes, depending on the magic/mental resistance of the afflicted pae. When she activates her magic to turn another pae, the finger she boops them with will suffer minor frostbite immediately upon activation - it cannot be healed by normal means, but will heal in time.
Transformed pae will not melt, no matter the ambient temperature. They cannot feel pain, and they will suffer no permanent injury to their regular body should anything happen to the transformed one while afflicted. However, those who remain in this form for longer periods may find themselves afflicted with minor frostbite upon returning to their regular selves - this can be healed by normal or magical means. Tertiary Power: (rare, for PLOT purposes and must be approved by RP mod beforehand) Magical Item: None?
