The following powers are approved! Congratulations!
Dahlia
Antidia
Pae'il Name: Dahlia
Power Category: eff you RNG, I DO WHAT I WANT. talk2hand (Paragon I choose you!)
Chosen Power Name: Enigma Force
Power Description: A mysterious sentient energy force has chosen Dahlia as its host. It has become one with her body and mind, giving her abilities beyond that of a normal Pae'il. The most notable of her abilities is to manipulate forces that allow her to use her mind to lift, carry, move, crush or push anything. If she were a more devious Pae'il, she'd even be able to force choke a pae. But she's a good girl, so she won't. This enigma force also grants minor abilities that will "unlock" as she gets more and more in-tuned with the force. For Hallowed, I'd like to see her gain the abilities to sense things because of her connection to the enigma force, sort of like 'spider sense' but called something else since I think another pae has a similar sense. Eventually (Hallowed or Luminary or after years of RP) I'd like to see her have full control over the force, including force lightening!
Weakness: In order for the enigma force to not abandon her, she has to keep herself morally clean. That means she must be loyal to the Guardians and keep the word of the Law as set up by the Holy Order of the Light. She cannot do harm to others intentionally or maliciously. She is allowed to defend herself. If for some reason, she purposely harms another with her powers, the sentient enigma force will abandon her and she will have to do some heavy duty repenting to get it back (like months and months of prayers to the Guardians pleading forgiveness and offering restitution). Also, Pae morality is not the same as human Christian/Western culture morality. Marriage is not required for babies or intimacy so she can fool around if she wants.

Eknath
Seiana_ZI
Pae'il Name: Eknath
Power Category: Redeemer
Chosen Power Name: Toxin Extraction
Power Description: Eknath has the ability to pull any toxins from another Pae'il, healing them of the painful or sickening effects of the toxin.
Weakness: Any effects of the toxin that have already occurred will not be reversed, only stopped from occurring any further. He cannot reverse damage already called by a toxin. Doing this too much and too often will cause Eknath to become weakened and even start displaying some signs of the toxins he has extracted.

Eknath was of the full belief that this was silly.
When Lisandru told him that, yes, like him he could also have some kind of so-called power--Lisandru snarked something about it actually being a disadvantage, of course--Eknath was eager to go get one. Unfortunately, it wasn't just an easy task. No, he had to go pray, starve himself, go on some long adventure and bring an offering to whatever statue the light shined on.
Sigh.
Eknath didn't know why he was out there, unhappily remaining on his knees as the sun came up. In some ways, he was hoping the light didn't shine in any direction so he didn't have to do this nonsense, but that did not seem to be the plan of the ... Guardians?
Yeah, Guardians. Right.
Eknath knew the direction that the light was shining in. Lisandru had mentioned something about "Redeemers" being off in that direction, though Eknath had never seen himself as much of a Redeemer or nice guy of any sort. Still, if this is the power he was to get, he set out, looking for items to represent his mind, heart, and soul. Mind, heart, and soul... Hm.
For the mind, he found a sharp stone, to show how brilliant he was and how easily he was able to judge what was best and what made the most sense--and what didn't, like this whole event. He put it into his pouch, continuing to venture on.
For the heart, he found a lemon. Sour, like he felt. It was still a fruit, though, and could grow into something useful, but in order to get to the useful nutrition, one either had to take the effort to scrape off the zest or cut it open, take out the seeds, and squeeze it out or suck it out with the strength and precision only some Pae'il were capable of... and tolerance for sourness.
Finally, for the soul, he found himself a small canteen. Contained and centered, measured and only given in small amounts.
Seemed to suit.
It was evening by the time he had arrived at the Redeemer's statue, where he knelt, set down his items, and prayed. Something had better--
"Hey, you!"
Eknath glanced up, seeing a strange ball of light with wings hovering nearby.
"Oh, you're so strange looking! You can't be from here!" The ball of light paused, before flittering excitedly. "Oh, that is fantastic! The Guardians believe you are capable of healing, and I am here to help!"
... Great, all he needed. A chipper ball of annoying light.

Menolly
EvilSilverDragon
Pae'il Name: Menolly
Power Category: Soulbinder Paragon
Chosen Power Name:Immunity touch
Power Description: Any pae she touches, she absorbs their power and can make herself immune to it. The more pae she meets, the closer to invincible she'd become.
Weakness:Which is also is part of the flaw. She'd be immune to the unique ability of any pae she touches, so if she touches a healer, they can't heal her in their particular manner (kisses, salves, etc.) This ability would only work for a pae's unique power and not on physical abilities (example: she could still get punched).

Malek
o0_Daisuke_0o
Pae'il Name: Malek
Power Category: Stormspike - Shadow
Chosen Power Name: Silent Film
Power Description: Malek is able to visibly project his thoughts to other pae by recreating them with shadows.
Weakness: The projections cannot project anything other than vision (no sound or smells) and are only in greyscale. The clarity and number of details associated with the vision are reliant on his focus, and the more clear and detailed the projection is, the more energy it takes to produce. This is true, too, of the length of the projection. Closing his eyes will help lessen this by (ideally) blocking out unnecessary distractions. Should his mind wander or the focus change when he is doing this, the projection will fade and change with these wanderings, no matter how off-topic or inappropriate they may be.

Now, Malek had never been a particularly religious child growing up, and it would be lying to say that he had changed into one as he knelt on this stone, hands clasped together in prayer, eyes closed. There were lingering hesitation about believing the stories, his mind drifting into thoughts of how dreadfully cold it was and how he was going to get sick sitting here waiting for the sun to rise rather than repeating words of thanks and praise. His family had gone through this ceremony to receive their powers; he should do the same. If they had trusted these Guardians, he, too, would follow their wisdom.
Warmth began to spread on his back, announcing the arrival of the morning sun (at long last!). He did not open his eyes immediately, however, but rather waited a few moments, waited for the right moment. It was then that his eyes opened, arms shaking from the chilled air, The light... It rested at 4 o'clock, towards the alter of Dylana, the stormspike. Granted, the teenaged boy was unaware of any details of this alter, but rather understood it as the direction he was meant to go to find offerings.
Even if it was cold.
The day progressed far too slowly for the freezing pae, often pausing in the sun to wrap his wings around him to try and crease a sort of igloo. It never really worked. In the cliffs, he searched for three things: an ivy branch, a old bird's nest, and a slab of shale. How Malek knew these were the things needed for the offering, he was unsure, but he knew.
Nearing sunset, he returned to the temple, placing at the base of the alter these three items before returning into a stance of prayer. Again, he closed his eyes, this time his mind acutely aware of anything that might have been happening around him. He even ignored the cold this time, or perhaps his body was simply too numb to notice it anymore. It wasn't until the sound of fluttering wings appeared that they opened, looking ahead to see a small fairy coming closer. He tilted his head at its appearance, before it whisked over him, shyly touching his forehead.
'How about I speak to you like this~?' a quiet, playful voice filled his mind. 'I don't like talking either. I'm Tihsenka, and I'm your new mellon!'

Shahrazad
o0_Daisuke_0o
Pae'il Name: Shahrazad
Power Category: 7 - Soulbinder 1 - Paragon
Chosen Power Name: Contortion
Power Description: She is able to easily manipulate her body in extreme ways, including displays of flexibility and joint dislocation, without causing injury to herself.
Weakness: While the act may not regularly cause her injury, it is still possible that overuse or particularly extreme uses may leave her stiff and/or sore for some period of time afterwards with the onset of these symptoms occurring within 2 days. If these symptoms are ignored, a risk of injury becomes possible. She cannot alter anything like her bone shape/density/structure/size to achieve these feats. It's not as if she's Elastigirl from "The Incredibles" or anything.
Just consider her like any contortionist, except that she can do any of their "tricks" more frequently, more dramatically, and without constant training.

Having only been in this land for a short time, there was very little that Shahrazad understood about the procedure she was about to partake in. It was something she'd heard from passersby as she listened within the shadows, a piece of traditions that perked her interests.
Tales of a method by which she could obtain incredible powers.
Such a thing was unheard of in her homeland. To think that by meditating, following the light's path to search for and obtain three 'mystical' items to represent oneself... Well, it was a fantastic story, was it not? It made waiting for the sun to rise in this unbearable cold possible. It strengthened the resolve to stand and follow the sun's rays upon the earth and search. It allowed the mind to open to instinct and to heed it's urges to collect a string of twine abandoned among the grasses, a single pedal from a flower remaining despite the frost, and an emptied glass vial.
Upon returning, the demon placed these three items at the base of the statues and waited, her eyes looking to either way for any way to notice a change. Quietly she waited, watching the ground tint with the oranges and reds of sunset. She was about to leave when her eye caught a glimpse of something coming towards her.
A sort of... fairy, was it?
How strange. The stories hadn't mentioned this, though, she had not waited for their endings. The thing seemed to find it all rather funny though as it flittered about her head.
"So, you're not from this land, are you?" It asked, moving to sit upon her shoulder. "I sense many mixed emotions and confusion. That's alright. You are also well prepared to maneuver through them with ease." It giggled, as if it was a real thing. "Hopefully I can help you to master even more ways to do that! I'm your new mellon, Ritika, a spiritual guide handpicked for you by the Guardians, if you will. They are the ones who have blessed you with such a power, I am but their teacher. "
Standing up and jumping to hover in front of the girl's face, it smiled. "By the Guardian's graces, may we get along splendidly~"

Ruaidhri
Strawberri Stardust
Pae'il Name: Ruaidhri
Power Category: 4. Redeemer
Chosen Power Name: Healing Claws
Power Description: Ruaidhri's claws can heal when he puts his mind to it.
Weakness: The target has to stay still despite scary Rakshasha claws coming at them. If he loses focus, his claws will hurt instead of heal.
Link to most recent completed RP:
Ruaidhri sighed and grumbled softly to himself. This was anything but his idea. Firuzeh had, however, made herself clear. He needed to do this. It was true that he wasn't required to obey her by any means, but...he wanted to. He liked the turquoise demon, though he'd never admit it out loud. She was the reason he was allowed to stay on Telrunya. He supposed he owed her something.
So there he was, kneeling on that stone in front of the altars that would soon light up with the path he was destined to take. Soon enough, he felt the warmth of sunrise, and looked up to see.... Redeemer. Really? Awesome. Yeah, just freakin' perfect.
Disgruntled, Ruaidhri stood and left to complete his task. Heart was probably the easiest, he supposed, touching the open wound over his heart. It was what allowed him to stay on the island, and despite all his grumbling about the demon female he was bonded to, staying on the island was something he wanted very much. Since he couldn't exactly put his wound on the altar, he decided to "borrow" a bracelet from Firuzeh to symbolize his bond to her. He supposed a book would do for his mind. He liked to read, and to learn new things.
His soul had been an unexpected "item." He'd been walking around, searching for something when he stepped on something spiky. Curious, he'd picked it up carefully and snorted a bit at the little hedgehog. Spiky on the outside, softer on the inside. Not that he was soft. He wasn't. Or at least, not where anyone could actually see. Or that he'd admit. Whatever. He grumbled a bit as he carried his three items back to the altar and waited for sunset.
He'd apparently dozed off where he knelt because the next thing he knew there was this little yellow fairy thing poking his nose. He swatted at it lazily. "Awesome. Something else I have to be bonded to," he grumbled softly. Anyway, the whole thing was over now, and he could go back home and not have to listen to Ruzeh grump at him about getting it done.

Haukea
Strawberri Stardust
Pae'il Name: Haukea
Power Category: 4. Redeemer
Chosen Power Name: Healing Cookies
Power Description: Haukea can imbue cookies with healing properties.
Weakness: The cookie has to have already been made. Only works on physical wounds. Cookie has to be eaten.
Link to most recent completed RP:Haukea tried hard not to fidget as he waited for the sun to rise. His fingers tapped idly on his thighs. Finally, dawn broke and Haukea lifted his head to see that his was the Redeemer path. Interesting... Well, some did say that food could heal. Right. Now it was time for his journey.
Three items. Heart, mind, and soul. Well, soul was easy. He was a baker to his core, and cookies were his favorite things to make. They were quick and easy, and always made him feel better.
Heart...his stove! Warm and...okay, it wasn't inviting by itself, but when he was baking, it gave his home a warm and inviting feeling. He thought he was something like that. Friendly, and often giving yummy food to others. Sadly, he was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to drag his own stove out to the altar....so a mini one from a dollhouse would have to do!
His mind was easy. It was just like a mixing bowl! Information just like ingredients got mixed up in there.
So he had his three items and brought them back to the altar, laying them out. After that it was just a matter of waiting for dusk. And when the sun set, a small yellow avalon fairy appeared to the white haired Pae and he smiled softly, pleased with his new friend and wondering what form his magic would take.
