Rosalie smiled lightly to herself as the woman entered her information, entering that she went by 'Rose'. It was good to know she actually took note of that, she wasn't quite fond of being called Rosalie. Well, it wasn't necessarily that she hated it, it just didn't bring up the best of memories. She snapped out of her thoughts however and tuned into what the woman was saying when she explained the picture. She bit her lip gently and nodded, saying "Oh, well I guess that makes more sense. That's quite possible.. everything was a bit overwhelming, I wouldn't have even noticed." She smiled a bit, then answered the woman's second question. "But no, I've never smoked. Never saw a reason to destroy my lungs." she stated simply, her mind drifting to Favian, he smoked. She wondered what he was doing now, she hadn't seen him getting food and he had been the first to get a check up. "What's your name by the way, doctor?" she asked with a smile, wanting to know who it was that she was speaking with. She felt like out of the lot of people on this ship, this doctor was one that definitely could be readily trusted. Then again, she was starting to feel more at ease in general as well since no one had tried to do a thing to hurt them yet.

"You don't smoke? Good! The first individual I screened handed me his cigarettes and requested help to stop smoking."
She pointed to the pack of cigarettes on the next table, obviously Favian's.
"As for me, I'm Doctor Sadenes. i'm the Chief medical Officer. I hold the rank of Captain (Junior Grade), but i rarely use it. Just call me Doctor Sadenes. or Doctor. it's all fine by me."
She misled again as she entered that last bit of information in.
"And are there any medical concerns you have? Anything you need to let me know about? If I can't treat i this minute, I can schedule you a treatment at a later date."

Rose couldn't help but grin when the doctor mentioned that the first one in here had given him her cigarettes and asked for help to quit. He was quitting? She grinned to herself at this thought, wondering what would have inspired the change. "Hm, I wonder what inspired him to quit." she said gently, still smiling a bit. The only reason she could think of that he would quit would be because of the change of scenery, the new hope of this ship. She was glad he was regardless of why however, it just wasn't healthy.
"Well it's nice to meet you Doctor Sadenes. I really appreciate your help, as I'm sure everyone else does to." she said with a genuine smile, wanting to make a good impression. She was feeling much more lively and trusting of this whole situation now. It was probably because she'd just eaten the best food she'd had in ages.
When the doc mentioned her medical concerns however, Rose's eyes drifted to the floor and she wiggled her feet, biting her lip nervously. She knew it was stupid to not say anything if the doctor was willing to help, but she didn't want to tell her. Then she'd have to explain why. After staying silent for a moment, she looked back up at the doctor, saying quietly "Um, well, my feet are pretty cut up and probably scarred." She hated being so weird about keeping her cut up feet a secret, but she'd kept that and her dancing secret for so long that it was hard to just blurt out. "Oh and I've got this cut on my arm, but that's probably nothing.. and I am a bit worried about the radiation everyone was exposed to, especially since I left the camp often. But I'm sure everyone has that concern." she added, feeling the need to take the attention away from her feet.

"Let me see the cut, dearie. Radiation is no issue for us. But I still want to make sure you're fine."

Rosalie bit her lip again, sighing. She had a feeling the doc wasn't going to like what she was going to see. "Keep in mind that this is from years of dancing.. and the last few years with shoes that didn't exactly protect my feet." she said carefully, looking at the doctor before she looked down at her feet once more. She then slipped off her shoes to reveal feet that were covered in blood stained bandages. She crouched down and unwrapped the bandages to reveal her cut up feet that looked incredibly painful to walk on. She ground her teeth slightly as the air hit the fresher cuts, looking up at the doc and wondering how she would react. It was ridiculous that Rose let it get as bad as she did, but she wasn't going to stop dancing and had gotten used to the pain.

Sadenes gave her a stern look.
"Child, what is the matter with you? You could have damaged them to the point of being unable to stand. you're lucky i can fix this."
She went over to a tray of instruments and came back what what look like a tuning fork and another dispenser.
"The dispenser will hurt, dearie, but the dermal regenerator will not."
She held up the cylinder to Rose's neck, but didn't press it in.
"If you allow me, I will inject nanobots into your bloodstream. They're programmed to repair broken bones and ripped tendons and ligaments. It'll hurt for a bit, but you'll be able to walk out of here. And then I can fix the skin. Are you willing to let me do this?"
If Rose said no, she'd put the dispenser down and send her on her way.

Rose chewed her lip once again when she was scolded by the doctor, making her feel like a young child. She knew why she did it - she was never going to stop dancing. And she had honestly lost hope that they would ever get off that planet long ago, so she had been certain her feet would last longer than the planet would. "I guess I never thought about having enough time left for that to happen." she said honestly, watching as Doctor Sadenes went over to a tray of instruments and came back with instruments in hand. She swallowed hard, worried about what she needed to do to repair her feet. Rose honestly hadn't realized how bad they were. She felt the cool dispenser press up against her skin and her two-toned eyes searched the doc's, listening to what she had to say.
It only took her a moment to make up her mind. "Okay, do it." she said simply, nodding slightly and gritting her teeth to bare herself for whatever sort of pain was to come. The idea of nanobots in her body kind of freaked her out, but if it would fix her feet and keep her from walking with constant pain, she'd take it. And if she could dance without being in pain.. than any temporary pain, no matter how bad, was worth it. She had a high pain tolerance from her time in the wastelands and being trained as a dancer anyways, so she wasn't too worried.

"It won't be intense pain, but it'll feel like someone's twisting your foot."
She pressed it in, the nanites racing to her foot and repairing them, knitting the bone and tendons. It took almost ten minutes, as there was a lot of damage. One could almost see the movement of the structure of her foot.
"When I'm finished, it'll hurt to walk, so I ask that you try and stay off your feet for at least three days for the tenderness to fade. I'll have the Captain room you with the mess sergeant, so she can bring you meals."
She updated Rose's medical file to include the treatment and recommendation.
"That means no walking without support for three days. And no dancing for a week. Understand?"

Rosalie nodded when the doc said it wouldn't be intense pain, bracing herself regardless. She flinched slightly when it was pressed into her skin and wrung her hands together as the nanites made their way to her feet. She breathed in and out deeply to try to keep herself calm as the pain twisted throughout her feet. It wasn't horrible, but it was by no means comfortable either. She winced several times, tilting her head back and staring at the ceiling in an effort to ignore the pain. When the worst of it finally stopped, after 10 minutes, she let out a deep breath that she'd been holding in, running a hand through her hair. She was absolutely fine until she heard what the doc said. No walking for three days.. no dancing for a week. She froze, biting her lip. "I'm used to walking around with them hurting, I think I'll be okay to walk around on my own. There's no need for anyone to wait on me." she said carefully. She didn't want to disobey the doc's orders, but there was no way she was letting someone wait on her for three days while she stayed in bed. That was not happening.

Sadenes gave her a stern look.
"Dear, did you miss where I said to use support? Give them rest, but use support for the first three days if you have to walk. But if I catch you dancing before the week is up, I will have you brought before the Captain."
She pointed to a cabinet.
"I'll be providing you with crutches. They're still effective in this time. You'll have to use them. And you shouldn't refuse the Doctor's Orders."

Rose didn't like that stern look the doc gave her, it brought her back to when she was a kid and her mother scolded her. She had to fight every instinct she had to roll her eyes when Doctor Sadenes said she would bring her to the captain if she was caught dancing. She restrained from rolling her eyes however, having no desire to insult this woman. She simply nodded and said "Alright, I'll use the crutches and try to stay rested." She was agreeing verbally, but there was no way in hell she wasn't going dance at all this week. She knew that this woman was trying to do her job and do what was best for her, but she highly doubted she'd be brought to the captain for something as trivial as dancing when she wasn't supposed to. And plus, dancing helped to keep her sane when everything else was chaotic. She wasn't about to just stop doing it for a week. If the doc was paying attention to the stubborn flare in her eyes, that much would be apparent.
She hopped off the counter she had been sitting on while her feet were repaired, her knees buckling ever so slightly when the pain from her feet touching the ground hit her. She did her best to hide the pain from her face, since it was worse then she expected, and righted herself, not looking the doctor in the eyes. It was obvious she hadn't expected that to hurt the way it had. Apparently newly repaired feet came with a whole different kind of pain than years of torn up ones. Stubbornly, she walked her way over to the crutched and got them for herself, situating them under her arms and hobbling her way back over to the doc. "I'm sorry if I seem stubborn, I'm not trying to be rude. Thank you though, I honestly do appreciate your help." she said gently, wanting to make it clear that she wasn't trying to be rude. She just didn't like being told not to dance. Or not to do anything really.

She caught the look of defiance and sighed.
"Child, do you wish to be back in here constantly, having your feet repaired? IF you don't give them rest, they'll keep getting damaged. Eventually, the nanites won't be able to help, and they'd have to be repaired by hand. The bones and tendons are still fragile. Give them rest, and you'll be able to dance again without any issues. Hell, your feet would be as good as new."

Rose looked down when the doc sighed at her, knowing she was acting like a child who wasn't getting her way. She didn't know how not to dance though. Dancing was the only thing that had gotten her through those years in the wasteland without going insane or being depressed. And before the war, dance was the thing that drove to success and kept her life held together. And now that this was happening, she needed to dance. She ached to. There was no way she could convey that to this woman though and despite the way she felt, Rose also knew that the doc was completely right.
"I promise that I'll try. My feet being good as new sounds impossible, but amazing. So I'll try." she said gently, smiling at the doc. That was the best she could give her, honestly. That she'd try. She didn't want to promise that she'd stay off her feet and wouldn't dance because she couldn't promise that right now. But she would give it a shot, because the sheer idea of her feet being good as new was definitely good motivation.

She held up the dermal regenerator.
"You still have the lacerations."

Rose almost groaned when the doc said they weren't done. Her feet already hurt worse than she had expected, now the doc was going to do something else to them to? Leaning the crutches up against the medical table she had been on, she hopped back up on it, ignoring the pain in her feet from pushing off. "So, is this going to hurt more or less than the nanobot things?" she asked, eyeing up the tool the doc had in hand. She rubbed the bandage over the cut on her arm absent mindedly, forgetting it was even there. Her two-toned eyes stayed trained on whatever that thing was Doctor Sadenes had in her hand, wondering what that would feel like or what it was even called.
