The Arrancar was far too fast for such an attack to connect. Ana dodged it easily, and spun around on the spot, her heel slicing the air in a wide arc, aiming for Haruka's shoulder.

Ana's foot collided with Haruka's shoulder, knocking her to the ground. Haruka rolled to one side and jumped back to her feet, throwing another energy ball using her other arm.
Ana had succeeded in dislocating Haruka's arm, and it was all Haruka could do to grit her teeth and bare the pain. Her arm flopped uselessly at her side as moved about the arena.

Ana dodged to the right once more, hearing a sizzle and smelling ozone as her opponent's attack flew by harmlessly. This girl was keeping the Hollow on her toes. She had not been declared last year's winner for nothing, after all. Ana attempted a quick disabling jab at Haruka's good shoulder.

Ana's blast slammed into Haruka, throwing her out of the ring and knocking her out cold. The stadium erupted into shouting as the past champ was defeated. Some medics ran out, threw her on a stretcher, and took her away.
