 "Thank you Kirito." Taking the fork and moved his hand around slowly with the fork. Picking at pieces, he'd dropped the pieces back on the plate a few times before getting it finally. Slow but picking the pieces eating a little bit going slow. He'd done okay so far. "This is really good...heh the people in the village really do take care of you here." Smirking, it was sweet they always brought food and whatnot for the doctor. 'Kirito's a real good guy...I'm glad he's been helping me like this...' He hadn't thought anyone would be so nice to him. Thinking of Touru too, she was such a cute little kid, and calling him big brother and all.

Kirito chuckled when Mori said that the villagers really took care of him. "Oh?" well they did finally warm up to me. "When I first came here ill tell you no one liked me. It was a bit lonely at first but eventually it got better." he said. Kirito remembered when he first came here. The house he bought to turn into a clinic was really run down and he had to first fix everything up before even stating its a clinic. He remembered when he first had to help a person. A lady was giving birth and the women that was suppose to help her was not around so Kirito was there to deliver the baby.

Mori looked shocked, "Really? How come, why wouldn't they....I mean...you're a doctor, wouldn't they be glad to have a doctor here?" Really surprised at that. At his last remark, nodding, "Y-yea...I know how that feels," the lonely thing. Thinking about how it could be Kirito had that issue.

"It was because I was new in the small town. You see this village wasn't ever use to outsiders and I was one of them. I eventually gained their trust." he said. The people here were always nice. The town was so peaceful and Kirito probably wouldn't ever want to leave. He looked over to Mori to see that he was still eating. "Tell me when you're done eating and ill put up your plate. Then you need to take your medicine." he said standing up and going to his medicine cabinet to get the one made just for Mori.

"Wow...I mean I never thought that you'd have had that issue coming here." Nodding thinking about that. Nibbling, he was just about done. Nodding as Kirito said about finishing his food. He was done shortly after he said that. Sighing, "Ahh that was so good...Heh I'm done now." Smiling, "thanks...you know..for letting me try myself," feeding. Though it was toughy.

Kirito came back with two pills and a cup of water. "Aha, that's good. Well let me go ahead and put the plates up." he said as he placed the medicine and water down. He looked over to Mori who thanked him for letting him eat on his own. Kirito smiled and placed his hand on Mori's head. "Im glad you were able to do it. You didn't hurt yourself while eating did you?" he asked looking up close at Mori's face. Kirito placed the pills in one of Mori's hand while the cup of water was in the other. "You should take your medicine." he said sitting next to Mori.

Mori shaking his head, "No, I didn't hurt myself...I was okay." Chuckling, "didn't poke myself with anything." Smirking. He held his hand out to take the pills since he didn't know if Kirito had them there right now or not. "Alright...um...so what is it I'm taking again?" Just curious what the medicine was.

Kirito looked over at Mori as he asked about the medicine. Well the lake we went to had a type of mineral in it not found in any other lake. I used the water to make the pill that you use for medicine. I've used this pill before on many others like back pain or fatigue. I thought I'd try it out with sight so hopefully you'll feel better." he said. Kirito didn't think of Mori like a test subject or anything. But it was his first time making something for the eyes and he hoped that it was working well.

Mori listened as he explained it. Musing, "I...wonder, Kirito...since you used a mineral from the lake for them..." For the pills. Fidgeting not sure about how he was going to explain what he meant. "I-If the water is supposed to be w-well good, uh what about, using the water on my eyes?" Thinking and added, "Like...soaking a cloth in it and putting it over my eyes?" Hoping that made sense. Like as another possible remedy attempt, having the water soaking over his eyes. Though he hoped the pills would work since they were in him to work for an internal reason.

It had been weeks since that day when Kirito took Mori to the lake. "You're eyes have gotten a bit better Mori!" said Kirito. Kirito smiled over to Mori who should be on his bed. Just then another patient walked in. "Doctor, do you have the medicine for my dentures ready?" they asked. Kirito nodded his head and quickly grabbed the mouth wash for the old man. "Here you go sir. I'm sure this will do you some good." he said. Kirito turned back to Mori after the old man had thanked him. Before he was able to speak the old man hand grabbed on to Kirito's shirt. "Doctor I was wondering, do you have anyone in mind? You know, anyone you...are interested in?" he asked. This sudden question caused Kirito to turn red and the old man knew what that meant. He kinda did. But he could never find the courage to tell that person. "Doctor, if you don't mind why don't you seek out my grand daughter? She's a bit younger than you, but I tell you she'd make a great wife." he said. Kirito chuckled nervously and shook his head. "Oh no, that's quite alright. I'm not looking into finding a wife anytime soon." he said as he escorted the old man out. Walking back over to Mori he cleared his throat. "That....was a surprise." he said sitting next to Mori.

Mori nodding, they were less damaged his eyes, but he still couldn't see anything yet. It was all fuzzy bright colors. Not even blobs or shapes just like shades. He was listening to Kirito as he tended to a person that had come in. He even blushed hearing the person talking about their granddaughter and as a wife or something. He lowered his head. He could tell he was frowning. he didn't like hearing that, why did it bother him. He still hadn't placed that he had more then friendly feelings for kirito. But even if he admited that to himself, he'd still be afraid of Kirito rejecting him not just for that but if he found out about Mori's abilities. His expression changed as he felt Kirito coming near and sit by him. Chuckling lightly trying to cover up his expression before, "A-Ah, yea...that must happen a bit huh?" Asking, and then adding, twiddling his thumbs anxiously. "S-so, is there...no one in the village you like in such away? How come you don't have a wife or...something." Murmuring.

"Every onve in awhile." he said about it happening a bit, but of course Kirito always refused. Kirito looked up to Mori when he asked if there was someone he liked. Kirito stood up and began organizing medicine bottles. Kirito had a small blush. "I'm glad he kinda cant see me right now." thought Kirito. "Well, actually there is this one person. It was a while back and I never really got to talk to them very much. I always played the scenario of how I could approach them and imagined how they would have reacted, but I don't think I'd ever have the courage to tell them how I feel. This person I like, well let's call that person 'Uri'. Uri and I aren't to close but something about Uri puts me in a trance. Uri is a great listener and can b a bit shy but that only makes the person much cuter." he said chuckling and blushing a bit. When Mori asked why he didnt have a wife yet Kirito shrugged but its not like Mori could see it. "Well, I'm not ready to really commit myself to marriage just yet. Plus I havent found anyone worth marrying." said Kirito. "What about you Mori-san? Do you have anyone in mind?" he asked.

Mori listened as Kirito spoke, "O-oh..." a little lackluster when he said there was someone. Feeling like he should have just left it alone and not asked. Though as Kirito was saying a hypothetical name 'uri' and he listened to him he wondered who this was. And what made Mori flush was thinking that sounded like him, plus Kirito hadn't said this Uri was a she or anything. Once the question was directed on him his face got even redder, trying to look anywhere but at Kirito but he probably was still looking his way and didn't know. "U-uh, I...W-well i don't know...maybe," coughing saying really low. "T-there is someone..." Pursing his lips afraid to say more like he'd find himself stuck in a corner unable to keep from saying it was Kirito. "I j-just...don't know, if this someone would feel the same."

Kirito paused from the medicine cabinet and looked over to Mori to see him looking over at him. He gave a chuckle as he realized he tried to look away from Kirito. "Oh so there is someone?" he asked as he went and sat down in front of Mori. His chair was always there whenever he and Mori would talk. "Do you mind telling me what this person you like is about?" he asked as he listened. He wanted to know who Mori liked. Kirito himself had just described Mori in a way. If Mori had someone he liked of course Kirito would want to know.

Mori was now aware of Kirito sitting right by him. "Y-yes...there is." Flushed and getting flustered as Kirito asked him that. "W-well, um...this person is someone really kind...and caring...t-the only one to make me really open up at all...h-h....Uhh uh Ahh," scrambling and babbling any sounds to cover up him almost accidentally saying 'he' to which he meant Kirito. He stopped describing said person at that flub cause he was afraid to slip up.
