"Fair enough..." Finis decides to pull his rapier, and readies it for attack. For a split second, he notices that there are wooden crates in the ally between the two of them. Finis's eyes glowed, smashing two crates two gather to crate a could of smoky dirt. Finis quickly draws a dagger, throws it to the left of Mathias and advances towards Mathias's right through the cloud of dirt.

((Masa and Laz moved back into the building, Blessed Legion HQ.))
Hmm, TK? is the only thought that flashes through Mathias's head before he barely glimpses the dagger and deflects it. He stands right there, eyes shifting left to right, staying on the defensive since he has no idea what else Finis can do.

The smoke cleared out and Finis was coming at Mathias from behind,at Mathias right side.

Mathias cocks his head to the right after noticing a flicker of movement. When he spots Finis's rapier, he twists his right arm, knocks the rapier to Finis's right, and spins to face him. As he turns, he thrusts his left-handed blade towards Finis's chest, intending to stop it before it reaches his flesh.

Right as their blades met, he quickly turned his body away, get a small distance from Mathias. His dagger flies back to Finis's hand, then sheathed it real fast. Finis held his stance, waiting for the next attack, as the sun gleams off of his goldish blade.

Mathias is just about to charge at Sora when a little courier boy runs out of a nearby alley and stares at them, wide-eyed. "Message for the Blessed Legion," he says in a small voice and holds out a small envelope and a pouch. To calm him, Mathias sheathes his weapons and approaches him, then kneels down. "Thanks, little one," he replies, ruffles the boy's hair, and takes the mail. The boy bows swiftly and runs back the way he came. Mathias opens up the envelope and reads the message inside.

I have a new assignment for you. There have been numerous reports of a roaming vampire who has been dueling and killing citizens and officials of the area around Cruor and Battlegate. Most reports have shown her as a young woman with black hair, but a few have said she possessed white hair instead. She also appears to own several enchanted weapons with varying powers. Extreme caution is advised. Enclosed is the first half of your payment, 50 gold coins, and the second half of your payment will be awarded upon your return, as usual. Nick hears his brother and rolls his eyes. "I guess I gotta get this place cleaned up then," he answers, grabs some gloves, and cleans up the bloody mess where the soldier once lay.

Finis sheathed his weapons, and finishes with a nod. He then goes back, looking for Blue. Once finding her, he quickly goes to her, greeting her with a hug. " Did I seem well enough to protect you?"

Blue blinked, her face slowly pinkining as she hard his whisper.
"Yes, of course."
She returned his hug with one of her own and a kiss on the cheek.
She smiled, happy that he went straight to her, yet a bit disappointed she didn't get her chance to prove herself as well.
Sai glanced at Ranko, the sisters did not know what to do as of now, and there wasn't much too do anyway.
Then, looking back at him, she walked towards
Marrice sighed, and glanced at Matthias, smiling at his warm gesture to the little boy who had brought the letter. "Heh...cute little one.." She muttered under her breath, as she had taken a side look at the alleyway. Matthias and let her expression go serious. "Do you mind of I tag along with this 'job'? You know the basics of how I fight already may I remind you." She gave a small smirk as she taped her sword's hilt at her side.
Aza glanced at Nick, and then went over to him, her eyes avoiding his.
"I could help clean up...I don't normally offer such things, yet you have yet to treat me like the child I am not."
She offered, her hand held out to him as a request for cleaning materials and to be told where to start.

Finis blushes from Blue's kiss, smiling softly. In return Finis kisses Blue's cheek.

Mathias smirks enthusiastically at Marrice and nods. "Of course you can. Three members isn't a very good mercenary group, now is it?" He reenters the forge and starts putting things away, storing them in crates or boxes and locking them.
Nick smiles kindly at Aza and hands her a mop and bucket. "I've been alive long enough to know people aren't what they seem in this land. How about you clean the mess while I take care of... What's left of the bodies?"

By this time, Nick has tidied up the store, so he leans on one of the support beams behind his brother, listening in on the conversation. "A new mission? It's about time. I've been getting a little stir crazy lately."
Mathias chuckles at his brother and rereads the letter to get the gist of it. "Well, looks like we're heading south to the Bleeding Plains to stop some vampire attacks. The catch is that she also seems to have some legendary blades that I wouldn't mind getting my hands on." With a smirk, he pockets the letter and looks at the other two. "We have the rest of today to plan and prepare, so we can leave in the morning."
