 Being released, Theo rubbed his wrist turning to look at Drakkar. "Both if you wouldn't mind, Lord Drakkar." He looked around the room in a full turn, having not taken the time to actually take it all in when he first entered.

Drakkar nodded and snapped his fingers, the knives in the stone of the island vanishing to make it easier to walk around the platform. The phoenix flames beneath them flared a bit brighter and then went back to normal. He thought for a moment.
"Forty years ago, this entire building was an asylum hidden within the forest. Two people ran the place: Simon Belmont and his son Grant. They hid the asylum and fenced off the forest in case of escapees and such, however, humans somehow got in from the outside. Well, these two illegally conducted experiments on the people here. Two people along with myself led a rebellion and killed the original directors and then a man named Aeon came along and turned it into a prison for the creatures here. He went missing. I guess you could say myself and this other man, Zander, help keep this place in check. By the way, just call me Drakkar or Drake."
He glanced around the room at the torches and the bones. He wondered, though, where Zander was at the moment. Perhaps he could find the man later. Drakkar put a hand on his hip and looked up at the ceiling.
"This room you're standing in right now used to be my old dungeon. It's where Simon and Grant kept me locked up for... other experiments. I'm a pure-blood, so I was more valuable to them. Over the years, after the rebellion, I slowly fixed it up into what you see now. The thing we're standing on used to be a huge blood fountain Simon added so I wouldn't die from hunger, but I find the phoenix flame a bit more... entertaining and show-worthy. Besides, the flames of a phoenix never die."

Theo nodded as the vampire spoke, going back to looking at him once he had gotten a good look at the room. "I see..." He turned after the explanation was done and picked up his scythe from the floor of the island. After eying the blade for a few moments, before it disintegrated. "My name is Theodore by the way. Just call me Theo I'm more used to being called that. As for your name, I rather like saying lord in front of it."

The vampire was mildly surprised at hearing those words being spoken by the shinigami. He glanced over at the man, a bit confused.
"You actually like calling me 'Lord Drakkar'?"
He glanced about now, wondering what he could talk about with the male. At this moment, Drakkar couldn't think of anything. His bright green eyes just stared up at the room's ceiling and noticed a few blood stains as well as magical symbols.
"I really need to stop forgetting about those markings..."

He smiled and laughed slightly. "Yes, well at least one half of me, I can't say much for the other. It is only proper." Looking up in the same direction as the vampire when he mentioned something about it, Theo rubbed his wrist again, not being able to entirely shake the feeling from when the man drank his blood. "What are they?"

Drakkar smirked and lifted a hand to point at a few markings that were left in a row. Each of them was drawn in a deep red blood which had been his own. The man summoned a black flame to the palm of his hand and the symbols reacted by starting to glow purple.
"When I was trapped here, before I changed the look of this room, I used to draw these symbols and practice my magic in case I ever got the chance to kill one of the directors if they entered unprotected or in case I was too weak to physically fight. You are standing inside a giant magical bubble that could kill you in an instant."

Theo looked back at the vampire. If he had only known that before. He laughed at himself for not taking the time to actually notice them. "How very interesting...Well you answered my questions, is there anything you would like to know from me while I still feel like it." Reaching up he ran his fingers through his hair.

The man could only laugh and turn his head to look at the shinigami. His hand lifted as if to rustle the boy's blond locks, but then lowered as quickly as it rose. Force of habit, he guessed. The man turned once more and picked up the little skull on the platform that he always kept.
"I have not a thing to ask you. I would much rather learn things for myself through my own observations. However, if a question does arise, I hope you would answer them for me, in due time."
Drakkar started to run his pale fingers along the skull, his fingertips ghosting over the decaying bone. It was such a sad sight to behold, slowly watching a fallen comrade of his turn to dust as if the dead were even suffering.
"Would you like anything to eat or drink?"

Theo frowned as he saw the vampires slight movement to almost go and touch him. Luckily the man had decided against it. "Oh course weather i do or not depends on my mood an which side of me you ask." His eyes followed the man as he turned and picked up a skull, his frown lightening at the mention of food. "Food... would be nice, since I didn't get to finish that apple."

He allowed his eyes to meet with Theo's and he could only grin. It was hard trying to hold down a laugh, but he managed. The vampire kissed the top of the skull's head and gently set it back down into place.
"Either side I talk to, I can beat the answers out of them. I do suppose I have one question for you: what do you like to eat? Nobody said you had to throw the apple at me."
Drakkar descended from the island's platform by jumping off of it a good distance. He landed, silent as ever, on the dark stone floor and went to his pantry for supply of food. Taking notice that he was a bit short, Drakkar decided he'd very much rather just go out and kill a human in the basement cells or something, but he knew he'd have to go shopping in the Dining Hall.

Theo sighed and jumped back over the gap between the island and the actual floor. "It wasn't my choice per say to throw the apple at you, it was the yellow eyed me... um what I like to eat... I don't have much of a preference, as long as it isn't raw meat." The only thing he preferred over anything was apples, other then that he really didn't mind.

Drakkar had been stocked well on apples... perhaps he could quickly put something together. Taking out a small pan, he worked diligently and quickly. Within a few moments, he had an apple pie all set to be baked, so he set it down right by the fire.
"Should be done in no time. Tell me more about the yellow-eyed part of you, if you do not mind."

"Ah...um well. How to describe it? "My yellow-eyed part... is childish and annoying, above all psychotic as well. It annoys me to no end that half's antics and words. At least when we're balanced I'm the only one who should be able to " He probably could have gone on but that was the best that he could word it.

Drakkar stood there, looking down into the dark violet eyes of the blond while his mint green hues explored them in secret. Unfortunately, not being a demon or a reaper, he couldn't look into one's soul... but that would be a bit weird anyway. The vampire nodded and went over to check the pie, bringing it over to the counter-top as he listened.
"I see. Is there no sure way to control him or block him out completely? Also, the pie is ready. Help yourself whenever you please."
The vampire took a seat on his throne once more, watching the shinigami from a slight distance. Once again, surrounded by more bones, he picked up another skull. This one was still a milky white and seemed fresh. He held it in his hands.

The smell of the apple pie smelled delicious. He walked over and got a piece of it while it was still nice a warm, before finding a spot to sit against the outer walls. Theo poked at it with his fork looking down at it as he tried to phrase the answer to Drakkar's next question. "There is no sure way. I don't even know my self how long until we balance out again. As for blocking him out, right now I'm fully in control, but as you saw earlier he can be fully in control as well... It took a lot just to go from one extreme to another." He brought a fork full of the pie up to his mouth and ate it smiling as he savored the flavor of the apples. Mmm~ It was as delicious as it smelled.
