He kissed her cheek and smiled,"I will see you tomorrow..."He said smiling and drove off.
Her father was waiting for her, bottle in one hand belt in the other, ready to beat her for coming home late.

Harrietta feared what would happen. Would her father force more alcohol into her or make her drink until she threw up? Or would her mom inject her with more drugs? She took off her shoes and coat, "Coming Dad!" She walked into the living room. Jean was coming to pick her up later to take her away.

Harrietta just laid on the floor crying, she hurt so badly. She wanted no she needed Jean here with her. Slowly she made her way to her room, slowly and painfully.
